2024 Yelp 100 Challenge - #23 Visited after work to meet up with coworkers. Happy Hours is daily with different deals on food and drinks. Restaurant Seating could be better as we arrived early but later in the day it became crowded and guest were sitting on top of each other. A women kept bumping and sliding my chair every time she needed to get up. If I am ever to return, I would sit near the bar area or a booth to avoid this. Food I ordered their medium pizza with my choice of toppings and it was delicious. I even received a pizza stand. Picked up my order of chicken parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana which I never eat in one sitting and we were both served what seemed like lunch portion meals. Not to mention the noodles were burnt on the ends. I called and let the manager know and she said we could come by and pick up some more noodles if we wanted but that's all she can offer. If you want real Napoli's go to the Wylie location. Been going there for years and they never disappoint. What?! Outstanding Italian food in Texas?! Finally after 3 years of popping in and out of North Texas, I find the best Italian food (probably the best in the state)! How do I test for great authentic Italian food... It alls starts with the Marinara, Bolgnese and Alfredo Sauces. The meatballs, and the finally irresistible... the tiramisu! EPIC! I ate here 9 years ago and left a great review. My wife and I and our twin adult kids decided to eat here yesterday for lunch. We were only customers inside. Not immediately greeted. We asked for a booth but some of the staff was having their lunch break there. We were seated, but nobody from staff came by to clean up and wipe down tables. After we placed our orders, it took a long time to get our drinks, rolls, salads, etc. You would expect frequent checks. My daughter got a refill close to when we were leaving. We saw one couple arrive and leave. I would expect more service since there were only 6 people in the restaurant. Very slow wait staff. The good news is good was excellent as always. Better wait staff and service (need anything else, more ice tea, would you like dessert , etc). We were never asked if we wanted to try some dessert. read more

This is a family owned restaurant & the owner can almost always be seen at the restaurant. The bar atmosphere is nice! Very laid back, lots of TVs. Everyone is friendly and lots of regulars willing to chat you up. It it isn't unusual to see parents and kids coming from dance or takwondo to pickup dinner before heading home. The pizza is good and greasy!! My kids can crush one of the cheese pizzas and the slices are huge. They even offered to cut the slices in half to slow them down. Ha! Behind the lasagna and alfredo tortellini are my favorites. They are never short on staff but the staff isn't always the most efficient. They hire lots of teens from the area so someone is always training. Have a drink, a little patience and enjoy the atmosphere and peeking at the food at the tables around you. read more

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Ordered the pizza at 6:45 and was told it would be ready by 7:04. My brother in law shows up and tells them he's here to pick up the order and immediately sees the two young teenagers look at each other as they realize the pizza is not even started. One runs to the back while the other lets us know it will be ready in 5 minutes. 7:05 passes, then 7:10, then 7:15. Once he gets the pizza at 7:20 he asks for some sort of compensation considering they did not even start his pizza until he came at the time of pick up. The first girl says no, he asks for a manager and another teenage girl comes up. She states the employee did not tell her anything about the situation and my brother in law proceeds to tell her the issue. She offers no sort of compensation and my brother in law proceeds to ask for some sort of compensation. She finally offers a free dessert but decides to add "for reference, the pizza's take 20 minutes to make". What in the world is going on at this point. We then ask the African American what time we placed the order, and he proceeds to tell us 6:45. She states "yeah, but you showed up at 7:05, and it was ready by 7:20. It takes 20 minutes to make a pizza" I'm not sure if this location thinks their clientele is actually stupid but I'll be damned if they treat us as such. Absolutely awful customer service. Someone needs to retrain these employees. read more

I ordered through Door Dash and it looked like they thought let's get rid of our old food on this delivery. I ordered rolls and they were so hard that you would have had to have Shark Teeth to eat one. The shrimp scampi was Mush with 4 little shrimp. $60 for lunch and none of it edible. Terrible service! Came to pick up my order on time and the staff said it will be 5 more minutes. I waited 15 total min, which is basically how long it takes to make the pizza. I told them I recognize that you didn't make the pizza until I arrived and they said, "it actually takes 20min to make a pizza so that's incorrect". Are you freaking kidding me?? As a native of the northeast I had high hopes after coming across Napolis online. I went for dinner with my mind set on chicken parm. The customer service is lacking. I saw the same female waitress running waters for 10 minutes before a younger gentleman came out of the back to finally give us menus. I got the calamari appetizers, the chicken parm and the combo pasta. The calamari was TOUGH. Really thick pieces that tasted freezer burnt. The chicken parm came out and it was shocked. Such a wildly thin portion of chicken and some spaghetti for $17 and the breading slid off. The flavor of the pasta dishes in the combo were the best part. Really cheesy and my only complaint would be a very undercooked shell for the stuffed shell. The garlic bread was really good as well. For the cost it's definitely not worth it in my opinion. I had high hopes after seeing the newspaper article from 1999. I'm not sure if it's new management or just a lack of caring for what they're putting out. read more

I grew up right down the street from this delicious Italian restaurant. Growing up, I have always remembered the restaurant owner as well as the employees being super nice and inviting. Not to mention, their food is SO GOOD. They have the Napoli's pizza which is basically the WORKS!!! Once I took one bite of this pizza, I fell in love. However, if you're looking for something on the lighter side, I recommend the Chef salad. The chef salad is SOO GOOD and it has rolled up ham and salami with cheese. But my FAVORITE thing here is their house dressing. I can honestly tell you that there is nothing like it. It is so delicious. Another great thing about Napoli's is that it is BYOB. Sometimes my mom and I will stop by and bring a bottle of wine to have with our meal. They have changed. Remodeled the inside, and put in a bar. The prices have gone up, and the portions have gotten smaller. Before when you ordered the lasagna you would get 4 layers of pasta, The one I was served this evening only had two. $10.45 seems over priced for what I got, and before you got a salad with your entrée. I understand they put in a bar and serve liquor now, but the drink prices are way to high. $11.00 for 4oz of wine. The young lady serving us must have been new (She needs lots more training) Sorry we will not be back. read more

We are in town for a soccer tournament and had no idea where to eat for lunch, so I turned to Yelp. The service here was excellent and the food amazing. Before I start, let me say that I chose THIS location for my birthday dinner. My husband and I were on vacation from California and for my birthday, I just wanted some SOLID pizza (cuz hey, I'm a Taurus and we're about our food)! Yelp gives ass directions (which we figured out the hard way ) but we managed to finally locate the spot. It's incredibly unassuming in one of the many strip malls in the area. So no surprise there... I was sad that the pizza sauce was lacking in flavor or just lacking in the amount of sauce... I couldn't figure out which it was. But that's not even the point of my review... I'm assuming the man in charge was the owner... initially he seemed pleasant upon our entry, and perhaps I might have enjoyed my meal MORE had we not been sitting in the first dining area (upon entry). Because from my seat, I was able to watch them make our pizza (again, that wasn't the issue). Being sensitive to toxic work environments, I was IMMEDIATELY triggered when I heard the owner (or manager/supervisor) call one of the employees a "lazy shit" - and then proceeded to drop F-bombs at LEAST half a dozen times while talking to the wait staff and the pizza chef. Also as a parent to boys who could've easily been my sons ages, I wouldn't appreciate ANY PERSON speaking to my kid the way this man spoke to these boys. It was offensive and made the meal a little less enjoyable as a whole. Don't smile in my face, feed me sub-par food, take my money and treat your employees like shit because you have the power of the paycheck behind you. That's NOT COOL. read more

Their pizza is dripping with the right amount of grease and cheese. Both their crust and sauce have a great flavor. Their toppings are more on the traditional side. We normally get pepperoni, sausage, and black olives. I still have yet to try out their spinach pizza. You can't complain about their price. I am a HUGE fan of Napoli's Pizza. In fact, I think they have my favorite pizza in the area. The large pizza is a generous size with huge slices. It is NY style pizza and my favorite topping is the Canadian Bacon. My boyfriend and I usually get take out here when we house sit for his parents. We always get a Canadian Bacon + Pepperoni Pizza. I get a side salad with the house dressing and he gets a "side" of the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo. The Fettuccine here is his all time favorite. The service here is always great and friendly. In fact the owners are often there working behind the scenes as the cashier, delivery driver or making the pizza. You can tell it's a family owned business with lots of heart!
