I drove 20 minutes for a fucking 40 dollar pizza that was wrong/had missing important toppings and the manager refused to help, telling me that he made the pizza himself and assured me the pizza was definitely right.. OK i saw it was missing toppings and knew before i even ate it and well we ate the F'ing pizza and there 100% was missing toppings - MULTIPLE (it was missing the bacon jam and hot honey, literally the 2 addons the specialty pizza was supposed to come with) as shown in picture i provided... we ordered the sweet revenge specialty pizza with mushrooms, extra cheese, red bell peppers, and pepperoni. we pay good for these pizzas and have been good customers for years. the old people who worked there the last few months knew our order specifically. idk if they changed staff or what. - i made sure to speak to the manager and speak nicely but once he told me i was making it up i definitely was angry. he offered no way to help and told me i would have to drive back up there. i ask for his name to and he said he didnt see the relevance. obviously the relevance was to complain. the workers there seem high on drugs other than just weed based on the dark black circles around there eyes... yikes must be good letting them handle food, anyway. the person checking me out seemed like he was waiting for me to leave without me even paying because he was so high. the manager did not care when i told him this. and he refused to give me his name. this place is terrible and the upper management seems to never check on it in my opinion. i even gave the manager the option like i could send him picture of the pizza etc and get a credit for next time but i got no help. i hang up and made this post. very frustrating. 40 dollars wasted... save your money and eat at a place next door or a diffferent pizza place. We went to this place and this was a presentation of a 1 year old throwing things together. The Cheese was cold. They Didnt care about our concerns about the extra cheese I was originally charged for. I payed $30 for another pizza and this one looking like one of the worst pizzas I had ever seen in my life. It Tasted absolutely disgusting. When I asked for the cheese to cover the sauce (as it should with any pizza) she threw it on and threw it back in the oven with it still uncooked. I was Very disappointed. She even told me extra cheese is .5 oz which makes no sense because she weighed nothing. She told me next time if I want it covered to order double extra cheese which is double charging me for this? Yea no. Sweet Revenge Pizza is amazing! The pizza was steaming hot, and the hot honey added so much flavor. The Sirancha sauce (ranch mixed with sriracha) is a must-try--it went perfectly with the Sweet Revenge pizza. We also did the pizza roulette, where one slice has ghost pepper flavor. I've even accidentally ordered to the wrong location on a busy night. I've been on the hunt for a NY slice and Zalat has satisfied me in the NY pizza realm! (I don't think my search is over yet though.) I ordered their NYC with pepperoni and had high hopes. I ordered online and it would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Their website is easy to use and has fast checkout. Going to pick it up was super fast. The inside of the place is super no-frills, there's no seating, it's basically just the kitchen. The employees were super kind and friendly and I liked their vibe. The body of the NYC pizza is definitely thin and has less tomato sauce and is a great representative of NYC. The crust is a little thin to me but overall, a good NY slice. Their Sri-rancha sauce is very good. I thought it wouldn't be up my alley because I'm not a huge spicy person, but you've gotta try it. It adds something great to the pizza! Great Pizza! We ordered the margarita pizza and also the beef pepperoni pizza with basil. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious. The pepperoni was very tasty and not greasy at all. The Margarita pizza was pretty good too! They are definitely one of the better pizza places in this area, not the best but pretty darn good! The only downside is the price, they are a bit spendy & didn't offer coupons. We got our order delivered fairly quickly, the charge was $5 plus tip. The delivery charge seemed fair and the time for delivery was really quick. Since it was a delivery, I did remove one star for them not offering coupons like every other pizza delivery place does. ANNOYED. This is how I felt with tonight's overall service. My third time eating from Zalat and it's been great up until this evening. Truly love the pizza and the beef pepperoni. Decided to order in via DoorDash. Pizza came and it was the vegan version of what I ordered. LITERALLY. I had to check my online order to see if I was the one who made the mistake of selecting vegan cheese and a gluten-free crust. (See picture for reference) Vegan pizza is not a bad thing -- but the pizza was dry and cold and I was looking forward to what I initially ordered and the 100% all-beef pepperoni. Called up the location and I was tossed between 2-3 workers. Eventually the manager gave me the option to have my pizza re-made BUT I would have to come and pick it up myself. The one time I decide to order in and this would happen to me. What an inconvenience. Got to the store...not a single hello or welcome. Every person working there was in their own world - not kidding. Even the manager saw me and didn't bother to acknowledge me. Love Zalat pizza, hate this location. I've been to the Zalat in Richardson about 10 times, and today was the last time I'll be visiting. Reason for the review is I ordered a Elote pizza that is suppose to come with SriRANCHa™ base, corn, lemon pepper, Parmesan, cilantro garnish, and Valentina swirl. However I received a corn and pepperoni pizza. This was acutely a disgusting duo. I grabbed as much parmesan and crushed red Pepper in an attempt to make this pizza appetizing yet my efforts were in vain. I'm not sure if this is how the pizza comes or if they just forgot the other 4 ingredients. But they surly didn't forget to charge me for them. The other 9 times I've been, I was told my order wasn't ready yet. After ordering my pizza and being told my wait time will be 45-60 min imagine how displeasing it is to be told my order of one pizza still is not ready after 110min. My friends and I ordered the Margherita pizza and the Pho Shizzle, both in sizes XL, which I believe was $18 each. Not a bad price considering how big it is. Both the pizzas were really good, but I liked the Pho Shizzle more because it stood out. The vegetables on the Pho Shizzle are super fresh and are a nice contrast to how heavy pizza usually is. The pizza is a thin crust and has a nice crunch. They write a cute little message on the box which doesn't take much effort, but is a nice addition to show effort. I would definitely come back here again to try out the other pizzas they have. Very disappointing. I was very hungry and ordered the Sweet Revenge pizza largely because the description claimed "This is likely the best pizza you have ever had in your life." Well, this pizza reminded me of a very important lesson -- never trust a business that conflates product information with advertising. It actually was the worst pizza I've ever had in my life and despite being hungry I only managed to eat one slice before deciding I would rather go hungry that night -- than eat more of this collection of sugar, sodium, processed meats and carbs masquerading as pizza. I usually avoid posting negative reviews and resisted the prompts to review this restaurant because of that; but the experience was so disappointing that here I am posting a negative review several weeks later. We've only ever ordered takeout from this location, so I can't vouch for anything in store (ambiance, cleanliness, service, etc.), but my husband is in LOVE with Zalat's pepperoni pizza. It's lean, all-beef deliciousness, and he just can't get enough. I tend to prefer quattro formaggi pizza, BBQ chicken pizza, or spinach alfredo pizza, but Zalat doesn't make any of those. They carry more unique types of pizzas than anything else. It would be nice to split the menu into traditional pizza offerings and a more boutique menu to suit all tastes, but maybe that's just me. The Zalat location at Plano is the better option if you must go to a Zalat Pizza, which I WILL NOT do at all anymore. This location did not provide the opportunity to try their offerings - attempted to order and pickup 2 pizzas but after the confirmation the order had to be cancelled and refunded due to lack of key ingredients. Ingredients that one would consider NECESSARY to have in stock when they're offered on their website and through their ordering system. When attempting to pick up the pizzas (the order being cancelled was not notified appropriately, just a refund email sent to Junk minutes before pickup time) the order was clearly not available but no other options were provided. Both front employees just shrugged - no apologies, no offer to do better next time and keep ingredients stocked, no interest in making things right either. Worst experience and disappointment. They know they are the worst and don't allow reviews on Google, hence the odd score of 4.4 when they don't deserve even a 0.4. read more

These guys make great pizza! Every dough is hand tossed, and the toppings are really fresh. It's pickup and takeout only, no indoor seating. There are a few tables out front but they are in full sun at evening. There is a lot of good shaded parking in the back though. Note they do not take cash. The icing on the cake? Decided to give this place a try since we are always on the lookout for more pizzas that aren't from a corporate chain. We ordered this past Sunday (May 15, 2022) 2 pizzas and 1 cheese bread (approximately $60 with tip...yes I tip even when I am picking up the food myself.) Online ordering was very simple and easy, just the way I like it. We scheduled for a few hours down the road for pick-up at the Cityline location, just down the road from the house. Overall, we were not hugely impressed. First off, we got home and it looked liked the cheese bread had been out of the oven for quite a while before the pizzas. It was not very warm to the touch and the cheese had already started to harden a bit. Add to the fact that we ordered 4 additional cups of marinara dipping sauce (total of $3.00 to the bill) only to discover after we got home that they weren't included) so a bit of a bummer and thus we had to microwave the cheese bread and have it without the dipping sauce. The pizzas themselves were okay. I think our biggest complaint was that we are just not fans of super thin crusts. On the bulk of the pizza we are okay with, but the edge crust is like eating crackers. And as the pizzas cool the crust just gets harder and drier. Again, these are personal preferences. The disbursement of toppings on the pizza was was even though, so kudos for that. Taste was overall good as well. That said, I am not sure we will be making this our regular pizza night go to location. Happy they are there and that they have a dedicated and loyal base though and with them much success. We will just stick with the two independent, family run pizza locations in the area. read more
