Yes, it's easier to get a table here (I always reserve) and their selection is limited but the food is great with the same drink menu and reasonable wine prices. It's been a while since I've had the Pizza here but it was, as expected, very good with a perfect crust and high-quality toppings. Lately, however, I've been ordering from the Italian Favorites section of the menu. I don't think the pasta is made in-house but is very good with great sauces. My husband and I had dinner at Kenny's East Coast Pizza with our good friend John yesterday. I made a reservation but forgot to check-in when we got there because we were seated right away. John and I both ordered the shrimp scampi and my husband had the hot mess pizza. Everything was amazing! John had customized his order to have more pasta and less shrimp because they pile on the giant shrimp with the dish. We also asked for extra sauce because it's just so good! We also ordered the Garlic Bread and Bruschetta which were so delicious! At the end of the meal, we indulged in the warm gluten-free brownie and their seasonal cheesecake which I believe had espresso in it. Whatever it was it was amazing! We had Elianna (might've spelled it wrong, sorry!!)) as our server and she was AMAZING! The pizza is top notch + some of the best wings we've ever had. You can do a 1/2 & 1/2 on the pizzas and the pastas! So we got two pizzas in one AND two pastas in one! Kenny's Thursday Special is Detroit Style Pizza. This is the only day it's available and starts at 3pm until sold out. I have been wanting to try it for a while. Especially since I'm a Detroit gal! So this was right up my alley. It did not disappoint and the pizza made me feel like I was home. A good copycat and interpretation. It had the perfect crunchy texture and burnt edges. The pepperoni, cheese and sauce were all good. I just wish they had a smaller version. I was happy with the results! The Frenchie and Leisure Time Cocktails were definitely potent. They looked amazing and relaxed me. Sam was a great waiter once again. He is so awesome, very friendly and helpful. I just love his customer service. It's always cozy and welcoming. Meh. Nice looking but bland, bland, bland! I don't think I've EVER gone looking for a salt shaker eating pizza! For $18 a pie? Most other area options are better. Our server was sweet and our pizza did come out relatively quickly for a busy Saturday at 530pm. Not recommended. read more

Ohhhhhh Kenny. So very disappointed. We have gone to Italian Kitchen and Burger joint and been absolutely wowed by the food and staff and ECP fell so short. We were asked to move tables 20 minutes in. Received the wrong appetizers, I received the wrong meal and when it did come out the food (chicken scallopini and chicken marsala) were on a cold plate and were barely luke warm. As our table was finishing up, my unsweet tea was topped off with sweet tea accidentlt and the trainer Eliana( not the trainee Gigi- who was wonderful), was unapologetic and cold. read more

Every was Delicious food wise that is lol. What do I mean by that is I'd ordered a Sweet tea that was so weak Cherry (one of the day Managers) tasted and agreed that it needed to be made over. We laughed about for a few seconds and then She apologized for the taste of the tea. I told her that Sam (my very attentively polite, and friendly male server). Was just jokingly saying maybe the tea wasn't what I needed. I replied by saying, Water is exactly what I should've gotten at the beginning lmao. The dining room is always clean as you can see in my photos. I ended up using a previous $10 off Kenny's card. I thought my pasta came with garlic bread or rolls. I was told, No that's sold separately. Cherry did add in the bread for me but had to bake it fresh to order. That's what I Love about Kenny's Pizza restaurant, Burger Joint, Italian, and his FireWood Grill restaurant. The food isn't just being unwrapped from a plastic or microwaveable container. They're actually cooking which makes the businesses remain reputable and open. I enjoyed my lunch before work this day. Another win from Kenny's!! Eliana was fabulous. She checked on us before and after we got our food, refilled waters, all with a smile and a jovial disposition!! This was our first visit and we will be back! Philly cheesesteak crostini started us off & hit the spot, super delicious. We got the "Mr. Hand" (lol) and the chicken picatta. The pizza is spot on- crispy, came out hot, just yummy. Chicken picatta was decent. Portions were plentiful. Chef was very visible, he was checking on multiple tables and was really friendly. We love this place. The bartenders are always friendly. They make an amazing slightly dirty grey goose martini. We like their meatballs and Greek salad with grilled chicken. Well worth it! Really great pizza! Fantastic crust! We got the hot mess. It was so good, the two of us almost finished it and that was after we each had a meatball a piece. Sam took great care of us and shared a Sunday meatball special. $1.25 each with cheese! Who could turn that down? They're delicious! Wanted Italian. Most of the ones we anted to go and try were closed on Mondays. Ordered take out from Kenny's. We haven't been in here in years. Pizza was good, but spaghetti with meatballs was ok. Sauce was dark and tasted old and burnt a bit. Spaghetti was a bit overcooked for my liking. The two giant meatballs were moist and good though.
