I've eaten here twice now while visiting family. First time was takeout and second was fine - and both were exceptional experiences! Takeout order was perfect! Exactly what we ordered, still hot when I got it home, large portions, lots of bread, lots of leftovers! Service was friendly and quick - I couldn't carry everything my self so they found a large box for me to put everything in! Dined in this week and similar experience. There's a decent size dining room, we showed up around 7:30 and were seated immediately. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The pizza crust is light and the sauce is delicious, well portioned in comparison to the cheese. Ravioli has beef in it and they are huge!!! Chicken alfredo was creamy with plenty of sauce. The mozzarella caprese is so good!! Large slices of mozzarella on top of sliced tomato with balsamic dressing and a bell pepper- i take the pepper off, but good both ways. The sliced italian sausage in sauce appetizer is also very tasty. I don't normally like to fill up on bread, but I couldn't say no to a second roll!!! With butter or marinara, rolls were fresh, warm, a bit of garlic, and just good! The tiramisu is also good - sweet, the cake is not soggy (which sometimes happens with tiramisu), the top is light and creamy, the espresso taste is not overbearing, it's just a nice treat to finish the meal. Even our picky eaters enjoy it! Service was also exceptional dining in! Drinks were kept full, iced tea was made fresh and tasted fresh, our order came out quickly. Interior is quaint with scenic pictures, but we really just can't recommend the food and service enough!!

Food OK, bread is the best thing on the menu. Tomato sauce is acidic, too lightly seasoned. Calimari overcooked, rubber bands, salad dressing was good. Won't go again. Sorry.

Awesome food, nice people, good service. Been coming here for years and most of the time they don't disappoint. I just really don't like that the dinners don't come with a salad, but the dressing is great

Really good food. You'll leave full. So much is handmade--even the noodles. Family owned.

The staff was super friendly. As soon as we sat down, they brought us warm garlic rolls with marinara--delicious! You can also pay just $0.99 to have a side salad added to your meal, which is a great deal. Our food took an unusually long time to come out, but the waitress was very apologetic. Since we hadn't seen our friends in a while, we honestly didn't mind--just happy to catch up. I ordered the sausage pizzaola , which was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. I could only eat half! My husband got the Shrimp Scallopini, which was listed as being in a marinara sauce, but it came in a butter sauce instead. He went ahead and ate it because we didn't want to wait again. He said it was just okay--not bad, just not what he expected. He didn't mention it to the server, so it's possible it could have been fixed. This place is BYOB, so definitely bring your own wine or beer if you're planning to enjoy a drink with your meal!

Due to it being so late, we had minimal options, especially for how large our party was. Not only was San Remo's staff warm and welcoming, they were efficient and made no mistakes. The food was amazing, came out quickly, and the quality and portion sizes of the food were great. We want to thank San Remo for the great food and outstanding service. The setting felt warm and inviting--family-friendly without sacrificing a cozy, romantic ambiance. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed dinner with loved ones or a quiet, intimate evening out. Comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. I ordered the San Remo Special. The penne was bursting with bold flavor--the grilled chicken was tender, the cherry peppers added the perfect kick, and the feta and spinach balanced beautifully with the spicy (not too spicy) pomodoro sauce. It was vibrant, fresh, and perfectly cooked. My 12 year old son wanted to order from the main menu and ordered the Alla Crema. Of course I snuck a bit of everyone's food. The fettuccine was rich, indulgent, and perfectly cooked. The Gorgonzola cream sauce paired perfectly with the grilled chicken, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes, creating a deep, savory flavor in every bite. My 10 year old son ordered the KIDS spaghetti and meatball. He and I both agree that it was delicious. The meatballs were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The portion felt more like a main menu size portion. He took half to go! My girlfriend ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare. It was flawless--Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Drinks were refilled promptly, the timing of each course was perfect, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we sat down. Professional, friendly, and efficient--exactly what you hope for in a great dining experience. Thank you to San Remo's for this great experience. We will definitely be back and tell our friends!

I stopped here for lunch on a drive from Dallas to Shreveport. While the meal was fine for what it…read morewas, the lack of basic cleanliness and professional standards was a dealbreaker. The Environment: The moment I walked in, I was hit with a heavy, damp smell, like an old, moldy basement or a sour mop. The table and the ordering kiosk were physically humid and sticky to the touch; I honestly didn't even want to put my hands on them and I think the waiter sensed it too so he removed the kiosk off the table. This lack of deep cleaning likely explains the fly problem. I was seated near the kitchen and spent the entire meal swatting away a swarm. Even while I was placing my order with the waiter, I was actively waving flies away from my face. The waiter saw this happen and didn't acknowledge it. I spent the rest of the meal eating with one hand while guarding my plate with the other. The Service: My waiter was attentive and technically did a good job with the service mechanics. However, he worked the entire time with BOTH earbuds in. It is incredibly unprofessional to have a server stand in front of a guest while they couldn't even be bothered to take off their earphones. Additionally, the hosts were huddled at the front gossiping and chattering when I first walked in. The Food: The food was up to standard for Olive Garden, no mistakes there. But good food isn't enough to justify a sticky, moldy smelling dining room. Verdict: Keep driving. There are better, cleaner options on this route. And I won't be back to this location.
