Underwhelming. I think the 2 stars is warranted because the place is spacious with really club-like seating. It's almost as if you're sitting in your own private section. You get ID'd at the door as this place is +21. What made it weird was the full bar that's not occupied. Anytime someone ordered a drink, the owner would go to the back room and come back with the drink. It was super bizarre. Drinks were also super watered down. Theres a live DJ and he was pretty okay with the music. Some of the mixes were strange and would throw off the vibe. The reg hookah is $25 and a rip off to me because it's a very small hookah and they provided instant light coals. Second almost 50 bucks for starbuzz hookah, 100% a low rated hookah that should not be charged that at all.. lastly the alcohol... $16 for a glass a little bit bigger then a shot glass saying it's a "cocktail" is absolutely ridiculous. Nice hookah lounge with a very laid back, friendly, and cool staff. It's a very hip hookah bar vice a more traditional bar. Nara has an actual liquor bar, on some nights a DJ too. It's a larger hookah lounge and there are areas for groups of a dozen (maybe more) to sit together. The tobacco is all name brand and they had the flavors we wanted to order. They use charcoal vice wood coals, and the hookah was smooth. The staff was great at coming around to move/refresh our coals and our hookah lasted our whole visit (a little over an 1:30) with no issues. Overall great experience! Their menu needs work in my opinion. Hookah and alcohol are well represented on the menu.... They do have coffee and tea, but it's not on the menu and we had to ask. They have it and were more than happy to serve us. The place got a little Smokey for our taste, ''tis the result of most hookah joints. Would have given 5 stars for better ventilation and a menu with more non-alcoholic choices beside water. read more

First off, they charged $10 cover charge per person, which is fine, but once I got inside no one took my order, I waited for 15 minutes then finally decided to leave. Ice tip, ice tip, ice tip. It makes a huge difference for the ultimate hookah experience. The main difference between this place and other places around the area is that they serve alcohol at this location. It is a good place to bring either your friends or hot date to smoke some hookah. Not only was the hookah ice tip great, the shisha (flavored tobacco) was excellent. The most noticeable thing is that we were able to smoke our hookah with no issues. My husband and I called yesterday evening to see if you guys were open but no one answered. We then decided to drive by and check. We couldn't tell because the open sign was not lit but we could see some lights on inside. I walked in and there was a hispanic looking girl standing inside who worked there. I asked her if y'all were open because I couldn't tell and she said "yes, you walked thought the front door didn't you?" implying that the door was open. I walked to my car and saw a vape store first, then I saw a poster for Nara Ultra Lounge and figured its a new business in town and will get an official sign soon. So I got two friends and we headed over there and was greeted by the friendly owner and I almost felt underdressed for how fancy it looks. So its 18.99 per hookah and max 3 people per hookah. They do have happy hour specials before 7 at 12.99 I think, and drinks specials. Yes, they got alcohol. This place is beautiful I would give it a 5 stars but there was one bottle girl I think her name was Nicki she was so off. She wasnt smiling, she didnt even look like she wanted to be there. She then came to help with our hookah and when asked for more cups she totally ignored me and walked off as if i was asking her to do too much. After 5 minutes with no cups i went to the bar and saw her kissing and cuddling with im assuming a guy whos her boyfriend. She then gave me a weird look while she was with her boyfriend and I was grabbing the cups from the bartender. I dont know where they pick these girls up from but this was the first bottle girl I ever had that gave us horrible service! I had to keep asking the other bottle girl or bartender for things. I really LOVE this Hookah lounge. I went there while I was visiting my friends. It was very close to her house so we decided to try it out. I'm so glad we did. We loved it so much I ended up going 2 more times in my 1 week visit in SD. The place is classy but yet laid back and relaxing. Loved the decor and atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They made the hookahs to our liking since all 5 of us wanted different flavors, and kept on changing the coals and checking on our drinks during the whole time we were there.
