I've been looking forward to trying this new place in the Grove. The decor and atmosphere is fabulous! Light, bright and tastefully decorated. Service was very good. As a starter we had the grilled octopus, very tasty. I had the ahi tuna poke bowl, the hubby had the Pepe Burger and our friend had the margharita pizza. Everything was good, but the burger was overcooked so it was a bit dry, maybe a dressing would've helped. The pizza was excellent! For dessert we had the cheese/membrilla pastry and the chocolate/dulce de leche alfajor. Unfortunately the espresso was not good. It was cold, watery and bitter. Definitely not ordering the coffee again! I thought the waiter should've taken it off the bill, but he didn't... They also have a great market with a gelato station, cheese area and butcher. Decided to try this place for dinner on a whim and oh it was truly the best experience! The restaurant is super spacious and inviting. It has a market place, gelato station and even a bakery section as well aside from the restaurant. The staff was amazing. Mariquena was so friendly and attentive. She answered our questions and made us feel so welcomed. Definitely would go back for the service alone! We tried the Entraña which was so tender and delicious. Then for dessert we had the gelato which is probably the best gelato I've had since I visited Italy a few years ago. 10/10 will come back for the gelato. read more

My husband and I dined at Narbona this evening and two bites in noticed my chicken parm was undercooked/still slightly raw. This is dangerous and a safety issue for anyone, but especially myself as a pregnant woman. We alerted the waitress and the manager didn't even come out to say anything. This is an all in one experience - you can sit down and eat, grab a drink at the bar, shop at their deli or market, or pick up some ice cream. It's a little bit of everything and definitely a great addition to the Grove. The vibe is very casual yet trendy and the decor is very beautiful. We stopped in for brunch and had a good experience. Our server was attentive. Our drink order did take a while longer than it should have. We enjoyed the bread basket - I had never thought of slathering dulce de leche on some toast, but darn it, it was delicious! The breakfast crossaint was pretty standard - nothing out of this world. I do believe that the menu is a bit pricey for what you are getting, then again, I do think prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. We got here and its more bar than restaurant. My friend an i went where they stated there was spaghetti. When the food arrived it was some exotic type of "gourmet " pasta that was dripping in butter. To make it worse the chair broken under me ( i am at max 50 kg)and while i fell my water spilled, the waiter witnessed it and gave me a dirty look while proceeding to leave the floor soaked. This place was dark with no bathroom which is weird as the place is huge. The only good thing was the gelato.I've went to another location where the food was good and the waiters where amazing and i expected the same , sadly I was wrong. i hope this restaurant does better. read more

What an awesome little gem tucked away inside Coco walk. Great menu featuring fusion style dining. There is something for everyone on the menu. My daughter and I were craving Italian so we ordered the gnocchi and and a pastrami and sausage pizza. They had tasty baked goods as well. I purchased the croissant muffin filled with caramel. I just couldn't resist. It tasted as good as it sounds. We did explore the market located inside of the restaurant to the back and found a variety of gelato flavors and tasty Italian treats like salami, prosciutto, pasta, and cookies to take home. We enjoyed our food and our time at Norbana, will definitely recommend and will visit next time I'm in town. read more

Stopped in at Narbona while walking around the Coconut Grove area after lunch. This place is HUGE - the amount of different features they have in this one spot is frankly unbelievable. Restaurant WITH PIZZA, wine shop, grocery market, cheese and meat market, sandwich shop... and most importantly the gelato shop! We intentionally came here for dessert and I was not disappointed! I got the Stracciatella flavor which is probably one of my favorite types of Italian gelato and it was beyond delicious! The staff was very friendly and let me try a few different flavors but the Stracciatella is honestly a go-to for me if it's offered. The presentation with the little wafer in the cup is also a nice surprise. We'd already eaten lunch but next time we're in the area I definitely want to come back and dine in to try their food. This would be a great place for lunch or dinner and for small or large gatherings. Out for a bite with the hubby as a "cheer us up" night out. We stumbled on Narbona (yes we don't get out enough. It probably has been there a while) and were welcomed courteously. We decided to sit outside and it was very pleasant. Note to self, we can bring the doggies. The menu is quite interesting; Italian, some Spanish, and Uruguayan. We decided for something I would not cook at hime so vitello tonnato (8/10)., fried artichoke (7/10) and friend zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella (6/10 - prefer a light batter) and a Margherita pizza (7/10) all to share. The down was the mozzarella. Too chewy and not enough of the fresh and more gooey messy burrata style. I guess I am trying to say it could have been more fresh genuine mozzarella DOC. We stopped by for a few minutes after dinner. It looked very interesting and we were curious to see their market. We chanced upon the gelato shop and the very friendly person at the counter offered tastings of all the exotic flavors. So happy that Narbona opened up in Coconut Grove! This is exactly what the area needed. Narbona offers an Uruguayan fusion cuisine and it's delicious. They have a great wine and cocktail selection- the servers are very knowledgeable and will recommend and great wine to accompany the dish you order. I've gone a couple of times and ordered a few different things from the menu and I have to recommend the pastas, meat (Entraña), and gelatos (from the market in back). The ambiance is lively and more family oriented than some of the other places in cocowalk but nonetheless, it has a nice ambiance. We found this nice upscale cafe in the heart of Coco walk in Coconut Grove. The decor and ambiance feels like you are in Europe. Very nice. It has a coffee bar, liquor bar, gelato bar, Brick pizza oven and a little gourmet shop with cheeses, meats and other to select from. The food was excellent. I come often for the Ferrero Rocher/hazelnut. We decided to try the food for dinner. We ordered the Tuna Tartar which was very fresh and I loved the sauce. Then two pasta dishes - the spinach ravioli which was over cooker and the tagliatelle which was very bland. I don't recommend the pasta but I do recommend the gelato. One of Coco Walk's best restaurants- with both indoor and outdoor seating, a great happy hour, and the cutest market. The food was amazing, start to finish and their pastas are so fresh. We started with the Calamari, which unlike some places, was very crispy and not rubbery. As a main, I had the classic Narbona flatbread pizza which is similar to a margarita pizza, but with some onion added in. Accompanied by my food, I had a Grove Lemonade, which was a refreshing vodka cocktail. The service was great, I felt as if I were sitting on the Amalfi Coast enjoying a meal. To finish up, we went into the market which was full of delicacies from other countries, fresh pasta, and my favorite- gelato. Truly can't wait to come back again! read more

They seem to have a bit of a superiority complex in the check-in counter, even if they have a whole lot of open tables they will make you wait if you don't have a reservation. The coffee is expensive, the quiche is quiet good but mine was overcooked and the fresh orange juice is very refreshing. I'll go back to try some of the products from the fresh market or maybe one of the pizza's but I wasnt that impressed in general. read more

After family and friends raving about Narbona, I knew I had to try it. I was extremely excited as we arrived and instantly felt the great vibe that the restaurant gives off. We were sat and the waiter started off by getting our drink orders, appetizers, and bringing baskets of garlic bread. The bread was warm and toasty! We started off with a burrata which is always a great idea. We also got the Dos Lechugas salad which was PHENOMENAL. The white truffle olive oil was an amazing touch to the salad. Next, I went with the spinach & potato gnocchi as a last minute decision and I am so glad I did! The sauce was not too heavy and the flavors came together wonderfully. It is topped with crispy prosciutto which brings a nice change of texture to the dish! For dessert, I ended up getting a gelato. Half pistachio & half passion fruit. Delicious!!
