    - Came for miami spice dinner - Had the osso bone marrow (not a lot), tuna tartare (didn't like the way they do it here), steak frites (very good), empanada ossobuco (meh), ube cheesecake empanada (meh) - Definitely go there for their steak! - Depending on where you sit in the restaurant, you have a view of their kitchen - I recommend sitting by the bar so you have a direct view of their oven and kitchen - Service was great. Folks were amazing about clearing the table and bringing the next dish

We came here for Miami spice on a Thursday. It was fairly empty so I don't think the reservation was really needed. The service was phenomenal, really quick. The food was amazing too, I have to say, this was the best steak I ever had in Miami and that says a lot, just the perfect consistency and the smokiness. The Miami spice branzino was also really good. The cocktail te quiero verde was not great, I couldn't finish it. The meatball was literally an Italian meatball in tomato sauce, very mid. The cheesecake was also avg.

Definitely going back! I ordered the croquetas. Very good! Also had NY Strip. Cooked perfectly and tasty. The street corn was also very good and the truffle fries as well. I love the side of coarse salt and chimichurri sauce with the steak! The aesthetic was beautiful - gorgeous bar area. All designed with taste. Cons: No WiFi (and there's no service in there) No valet

What an amazing experience. The food is 20/10. Service was great. The dinning room is stunning. I'm going back for sure.

If you're looking for a brunch spot that strikes the perfect balance between flavor, creativity, and ambiance--Ossobuco is it. We started with the Pan con Tomate, and wow. The sourdough was perfectly crisp, topped with vibrant tomato conserva, burrata, and garlic aioli--simple but elevated. A must-try vegetarian option. The Steak and Huevos was the showstopper. An 8 oz. NY strip cooked to perfection, paired with sunny side eggs, chimichurri, and a Wagyu potato that could hold its own as a main. Every bite was rich and satisfying without being overly heavy. We also tried the Hashbrown, and I wish I could put it on repeat. Crispy outside, tender inside, layered with a deeply flavorful ossobuco marmalade and sunny eggs. It's everything brunch dreams are made of. Service was friendly and attentive, and the presentation was beautiful without feeling pretentious. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a memorable Miami brunch.

This is my second time back and the food and service does not disappoint. Really don't want to leave a review so this gem doesn't become unavailable. The restaurant music and vibes are on point. The other true standout aside from the food is service. Danny O is amazing and worth the visit alone. Food, Service, and ambiance all amazing. Until next time friends!

Unbelievable in all aspects. Best service in South Florida. Professional waiters who smile endlessly. Then the food arrives and you are up for an incredible experience. The beef is unbelievable and the options as many. Try the smoked pineapple ice cream. If you are in the Miami area, you are up for an unprecedented experience. Thank you Paula, Guillermo and José.

Just 5 months in and on a special day like Valentine's Day and they kicked it out of the park!!!! Can't wait to try them on their regular menu. All pictures are from their pre-fixed menu for valentines and it was spectacular. We shared everything, but it was truly enough for the both of us, plus so tasty I will definitely repost on a later day on their regular menu, but I must say... if on a special menu they were this good, I'm more than positive they will have an interesting menu. Our server Roly was very accommodating although the place was packed.

Decided to go to dinner at ossobuco the food was amazing... the steak was extremely savory and tasty. The portions were such a great size to share and enjoy with family. The cocktails were not my favorite but nonetheless great. The food itself was great, 9/10 but the hostess when I first arrived was extremely rude. When I arrived I told her I had a reservation and she her only response was "I have no tables"... flat out no hospitality 1/10. We had to wait which was no issue but her attitude was uncalled for.

I took advantage of their 4 course $60 dinner special (not listed on their website but offered every day, including weekends) and went with the Caesar Salad, 14 oz skirt steak, fries and flan. Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. Far superior choice, food wise, to Chop.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.

The open view kitchen allowed us to watch the handcrafted tortilla baking & wall showcasing over 400 mezcales & tequilas. We sat outdoors in the magnificent cacti garden. We started with frozen margaritas, they were smoky, icy cold & refreshing. We opted to share a skirt steak taco platter, passing up the insects on the menu. The tacos came out in minutes before our margaritas. The skirt steak was lean, juicy, and so tender we could cut it with a fork. Our meal was absolutely excellent. Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.
