My wife, daughter and I enjoyed dinner here on 2/15/22. I originally had a reservation for 9:00 but checked back a few tikes during the week and managed to get a 5:10 reservation instead. When we arrived, we checked in using Disney World app just after 5:00 and were notified just a few minutes later that our table was ready. Our waiter, Jason, was outstanding. From the moment we sat down he encouraged us to relax and enjoy the meal and that's exactly what we did. My wife and I had enjoyed different versions of an old fashioned with bourbon and rye. There are lots of great choices on the menu which Jason helped us to navigate. We all shared the lobster bisque soup and an eggplant appetizer. Both were very good but particularly the soup which was creamy with hunks of lobster but not overly fishy. For the main course we again shared our plates which included the Day Boat sea scallops, milk-brined pork chop and filet mignon. We added a side of the brussels sprouts and bacon. Not only were the main meals delicious, the mashed potatoes and vegetables were quite good. Though none of us felt we had room for dessert, we weren't leaving without trying the almond crusted cheesecake. Totally worth it and highly recommend it. Of the restaurants at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, this one is easily the nicest, and the biggest bang for the buck. It's pricier than the non-Disney world (Disney World vs rest of world that is). Disney seems to operate on the "charge through the nose, they're trapped" theory these days, but this place was almost worth it. With lower prices, they would get 5 stars. My other half's sister paid for the group, so I didn't even get hit with the bill, but a bit of sticker shock on the menu pricing. The star of their show is the waterside view of the nightly fireworks. The incredibly nice server even paused the food so we could go out on the veranda with most of the rest of the patrons and watch at 9:15 or so. Funny aside: the lazy ones stay inside and try to bang on the windows to get the other people to move on the veranda so they can just sit there in the air conditioning. Just stay put, roll your eyes at them and pantomime for them to get up and walk outside like they were told by the staff LOL The service was top notch and as mentioned our server was just the right combination of chatty, efficient and capable. He was even telling us about his vacation away from Disney, which was quite funny. He also figured out it was a medical conference and was calling everyone at the table "doc" ...humor and good food at the same time. The food was quite good, we split a salmon with tomato sauce and a filet mignon. Wow, both were perfect, and I almost never eat red meat but this looked, and was, too good to pass up. This is not your average tourist-y Disney food at all. The best part is that it is five minutes walk away from every wing of the hotel, and so pretty inside and out you'll swing by exercising the next morning when working off the filet mignon. One very cute touch just inside the front door: don't miss the huge intricate Finding Nemo sculpture all done in white chocolate colored to match all the characters. read more

I absolutely love visiting this place when I'm in Orlando. The food & service are truly top notch. From the fresh bread which paired lovely w/the lobster bisque, to the perfectly cooked filet, followed by the best almond cheesecake on the planet, this place is just phenomenal! Everything was presented beautifully as well. It was nice because after dinner, we got to enjoy a beautiful firework show out on the gazebo. My whole family enjoyed dinner here very much. We were here for dinner, everything we had was good however nothing was to die for. We had the halibut, ship and campanile pasta and asparagus on the side. They also give you a huge loaf of sour dough bread which was very good. To drink we had the moscato (the one on the normal menu not the dessert menu one, they are different and different prices) the moscato that we had was really good. Service- our server was really nice and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, everything was good minus the veggies being very salty with the halibut and the asparagus was as well. I was VERY excited to go to Narcoosee's. I have been to Disney World and have stayed at the Grand Floridian a few times but never tried this restaurant because I am not a seafood fan. The menu has now expanded where there were food options I could enjoy along with my seafood eating friends and family and I couldn't wait to go. At first we couldn't get a reservation and then the day before our last day a reservation opened for our final night and my friend and I were ecstatic. Unfortunately it was hit and miss, with very little hit and a lot of miss. The good: It is a gorgeous restaurant with amazing views. Spending our last night there watching the monorails pass by Cinderella's Castle and Space Mountain was just amazing. The Caesar salad I had was quite possibly my favorite one I have ever had; it was light and refreshing and delicious. My friend had the Maine Lobster Bisque and raved about it. The okay: My sweet potato gnocchi entree was fine. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. It's a seafood restaurant so I understand but I do wish the dish had been tastier to justify the price. The bad: My friend ordered the surf and turf and upgraded the steak to a medium rare filet mignon. She ate the lobster tail and loved it but when she got to her steak she realized that it was well done to the point of being burnt and not a filet cut at all. At this point we were tired and almost done with the meal and still had to pack so we informed the waiter and just asked that her meal be changed to just a lobster tail. The waiter then charged her $49 for a lobster tail instead of the $54 for the surf and turf which was honestly ridiculous. The waiter was elderly and it's a hard time for everyone so we just paid and left. I did speak to Disney and they refunded us which was very kind and I appreciate it a lot. Since then I have heard from several people who had a very similar, if not exactly same, experience. I wanted to love it here but I don't think I'll be going back. If you are going just for seafood though I think you'll have a much better time! read more

Originally we were thinking about Victoria and Alberts but with them currently still unavailable, we looked up and discovered Narcoosee's and we are glad we did. First of all, the service was excellent, the team didn't miss a beat. Our wait staff did an amazing job with how busy they were, very impressive. Narcoossee's sits on the lake overlooking the Magic Kingdom and allows for beautiful views. We both got the filet and I added the scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection, the portion size was plentiful so we had a great lunch waiting for us the next day This was a nice way to celebrate the New Years, if you get the chance, I highly recommend getting reservations and giving them a try. read more

Narcoossee's is a restaurant in Disney's Grand Floridian that has views of the Magic Kingdom. Who doesn't want an excuse to walk the grounds of one of Disney's nicest hotels? If you time it right you can watch the fireworks from here. We weren't there on a fireworks night but there were still great views of the water boats and castle. Keep in mind that this is family friendly restaurant but they do have a bar inside that got crowded during the night. My husband made reservations through the Disney website and when we arrived were seated right away. We selected some beers from the menu and appetizer of calamari. They also brought some bread out which came with this amazing salted butter. My husband enjoyed surf and turf which we could tell was a very popular entree. The lobster was good and the steak was fine for the cut of meat. Let me tell you - I loved my pork chop! I was hesitant to get it since they specialize in seafood but it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The sweetness of the chutney that went along with it did me in. The grits were extra creamy too! We skipped dessert because we planned to get it elsewhere but it all sounded great. I appreciated the good service here. It was very busy in the restaurant and everyone seemed to be pitching in to take care of tables. We love Narcoossee's. Our family spent two weeks at the Grand Floridian to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties 2023. The fact that it's located at the resort makes it perfect for Grand Floridian guests. The recent remodel is beautiful. We dined there three times this stay and never had the least complaint. The new sourdough bread is in a class of its own. We tried the blackened redfish, surf and turf, shrimp dish and the prime New York strip. All were very special. Be sure to note they supply a bottled water or seltzer water when you sit down. I loved the seltzer water and appreciate the fact they don't use the regular nasty Disney tap water. Lastly, the almond crusted cheesecake is a must-have. read more

We had a reservation for 5pm. We mobile checked in at 4:55pm we were not seated until around 5:15pm. People who arrived after us were seated first. I had to goto the hostess and re check in. The hostess said that the mobile check in isn't working. She apologized and said she will check us in. I'm not sure why they don't take down the sign for mobile check in if it's not working or put up a sign to say it's not working. Once seated the waitress was fantastic. We started with the shrimp and grits which we loved. All of the drinks we had were also great. We ordered the surf and turf. The lobster tail was amazing but my filet was over cooked and dry. They remade another one for me but it came out after my husband finished eating. The steak was not worth the price. It was a poor quality piece of steak. I ordered a med rare steak and the center was not red it was a weird color like a pink brown even though it was med rare. To upgrade to filet it is a $20 charge added to $58. For as long as I've known, there has always been mixed feelings about going to Narcoosee's. Is it as good as it could be? Is it overrated for a 2 credit restaurant? Despite all of these, since we were staying at the Grand Floridian, we decided to try it. Our server was excellent. Top notch in my opinion... but the food just didn't live up to expectations. My fried calamari was very good, which I recommend, but my surf and turf was just awful. I upgraded to the my strip for $19 and it was probably the worst mistake I could make... just not cooked great and just tasted very generic. As far as the rest in my group, they had the lobster and had an unexpected experience later on in the evening... I'm not saying it was the lobster that got them sick, but I will say they won't be eating lobster again for a while... It's just hard to give them a better rating than 3, especially for the money spent... I do recommend the almond cheesecake. That was very good. The only reason for two was the server, have been here in past always pricey but everything was done right service and food. Went for my wife's birthday last night, her dinner came out steak and lobster tail was cold, got ahold of server it was course sorry we will bring out another. We had little ones with us so their window to wait patiently is limited after two hrs. My wife ended up eating alone, happy birthday to her and they were like will sorry we can offer desert. My party of 6 ordered the calamari, eggplant, and cheese for the starters. I recommend all of them. Some of our entrees were hit or miss. I ordered the scallops and it was one of my favorite meals of the trip. They were perfectly cooked with a yummy lemon cream risotto. We also got the pork chop and salmon. Both were delicious. The surf and turf with lobster tail was disappointing for $58. You only get a small sirloin and the dish is just underwhelming. I guess I'd get the filet supplement (+$19) if I was to order that. We came here on our last night for a fancier anniversary dinner. Our server, Rashid, was excellent and really made our night. He was friendly yet professional and recommended the perfect wine pairing for my boyfriend's surf and turf order. We started off with bread service. The little loaves of sourdough bread were perfectly crunchy (but not hard and chewy) on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The butter with pink sea salt complemented the bread well. We ordered the shrimp and grits for our appetizer and it was so good! The shrimp had a slight kick to them and the grits were creamy and full of flavor. My boyfriend said that it won't matter if the rest of our meal was bad; the shrimp and grits already met his standards. But don't worry! Our mains were excellent. I ordered the blackened salmon and he ordered the surf and turf with lobster and upgraded to the filet. My salmon was wonderfully seasoned and moist and the succotash and corn purée paired well with it. His filet was tender and the lobster tail was cooked to perfection and not rubbery at all. Needless to say we both cleaned our plates. After we finished our entrees, Rashid provided us a champagne toast for our anniversary and recommended the almond crusted cheesecake for dessert. When he brought out the dessert, he patiently guided us on how to take the perfect bite: a little bit of cherry, a little bit of whipped cream, then dig hard into the cheesecake and take a bite. It was luxurious and while the food was excellent, Rashid's service really was the highlight of the night. We had the most amazing meal at Narcoossee's for a friend's birthday/ bachelorette dinner. Everything we ate was amazing. The bread was delicious and served warm. For appetizers we split the Brisket and Ricotta Tortellini and the calimari. The tortellini was amazing. We had a party of 6 so we each split a tortellini and let me tell you, they were delicious. The lobster bisque was the most unique and delicious bisque I've ever tasted. The vanilla foam adds a richness of flavor that I can't even properly describe. The shrimp bucatini was also delicious. Everyone at our table enjoyed every crumb of food we ate. Our waiter Josh, was also superb. He was attentive, fun and even brought us a small sweet treat at the end even though we had declined dessert because we were all so stuffed. Special shout out to Ellen, who was not our server, but came to our table and offered to take our photos outside along the water with the castle in the background. These photos were the best ones from our trip and we are so appreciative. She did this on her own, unprompted and it was so special. We will definitely return. I so appreciated the effort to point out vegan and gluten free options - I didn't feel fomo with others dishes thanks to my gluten free sweet potatoes gnocchi (delish!!) crispy tender and plenty ! With a lovely tomatoe sauce.... I got a $24 butter poached lobster tail to have with it . We also ordered the Brussels sprouts which were a tasty - could have been a little less sweet but other great. Cocktails are STRONG and flavorful, waterview tables are highly suggested :). Staff was lovely and patient only dinging a star for feeling that at the price point - tables should be better cleaned between courses and cutlery / dish swap outs should be less rushed / chaotic .... I think I added pictures twice. That sums up the experience. Confusing! Well service was phenomenal. Just the logistics of how things run were a bit disorganized. The servers kept introducing food to us that we did not order only to return to the waiter to ask for the right table. This happened a lot on a semi busy night which seemed disheartening as this place is very popular amonsgst Disney guest for dinning with an excellent view of fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. Also, there was just one bartender for the entire restaurant and bar. This meant constant apologies from the waiter on wait times for our drinks. This should have been the manager's role. The manager was no where to be found, hopefully at the bar helping the overwhelmed bartender. Overall, very disorganized. I loved this place! Honestly one of my favorite spots to eat at Disney World. It's located at the Grand Floridian Resort which was conveniently around the corner from our room. You have a great view of Cinderella's castle from the restaurant. Linda was very helpful and informative and explained that guests can come back later to view the fireworks from the restaurant. Sometimes they even have the music playing over the speakers to match the fireworks show! Besides the view, the food was impeccable. Everything plated really well and was a feast to the eyes as well as the stomach! If you're craving for seafood while you're at Disney, then look no further and come check out Narcoossee's. Today, is not my lucky day. Two negative dining experiences in one day. Awfully pretentious, they try really hard but are unable to deliver. Calamari is way over breaded. What comes with it, is extremely overpowering. I had the misfortune of ordering the salmon which was soft and juicy but too spicy. The mess surrounding the poor salmon didn't pair well with it and was uninteresting. Husband had some shrimp pasta which was swimming in a garlic cheese sauce and was far far from being al dente. Last but not least, the bread they offer is dry and lacks respect. From all the crunchy mouthwatering baguettes and bread rolls I have had (in France mostly) this was sad. If Michelin stars were used in the US this would fail miserably. On a brighter side, there were fireworks... Visited Narcoossee's for the first time last night, and we were very happy with our experience. It's definitely not a cheap experience, but we understood that going in. The newly redecorated room was highlighted in colors from the sea. Very pretty. We had a lovely window table with a nice view of the water with Epcot and the Magic Kingdom in the distance. It was fun watching the boats come and go between parks and hotels. Our server was very good and started us with a large bottle of sparkling water with wedges of lemon and lime. We decided to forgo drinks to spend a little more on dinner. Good decision! We ordered one entree, the thick rib-eye pork chop that was juicy and really delicious. It came with a unique layered potato side and veggies, then we added the buttered lobster tail as an "enhancement". Instead of a second entree, we ordered the blackened shrimp and grits appetizer. It had a tangy chow chow relish and a tomato-y drizzle. Really good! We ordered two additional sides to round it out...the crispy Brussel sprouts...YUM! and the FANTASTIC wild mushroom risotto which was super creamy. For dessert, I ordered something I'd never had before but always wanted to try, a berry pavlova which is meringue piped into a shape and slowly baked till it's crisp on the outside but soft inside. This was light, but sweet, served with berries on top and the plate was decorated with a lemon paste rainbow and a lemon cream sauce our server poured on the plate into a Mickey-shaped head. The place is nice enough inside, but as always be kind because I got the impression they wI ordered the scallops, which were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I was surprised by how large the plate was as I thought I ordered the small portion, but the bill told me otherwise! Service was quick and maybe a little over-zealous as they took my friends' soup when they weren't quite finished with it when we briefly went out to see the fireworks. If you would like to eat terrible food in beautiful surroundings, then welcome to Narcoossee's. When the complimentary Sourdough bread proved too dry and inedible, I started to be a little concerned. Look, I'm not hard to please with bread, so it had a low bar to clear. But fail they managed. Next we had the most overbreaded calamari I've ever tried. Dry and lifeless and may as well have been a kids chicken tender. Only the bits of olives and peppers made it somewhat edible, but even at that we didn't bother finishing it. I might add they don't bother pouring your beer here, something I was caught off guard about when it was plopped down in front of me. Then while the dirty dishes and uneaten food was occupying half they table, they dropped off the mains. I now understand why, as the majority of that would go back uneaten as well. No visit from a manager or even a question about the amount of food going back, just here's your check now get out. One brave soul in our party had the courage to attempt dessert and it was the only decent thing (besides maybe the butter) that made it to our table. read more

We tried the crab & shrimp cakes and I was pleasantly surprised. They were flavorful and perfectly prepared. We both ordered Surf & Turf with filets which were a perfect medium rare. My boyfriend ordered his with scallops, my choice was salmon. The salmon was excellent, cooked with a nice crust on the outside and a perfect buttery filet on the inside. The creamy mashed potato was delicious as were the caramelized carrots. We added brussel sprouts roasted with lemon & pancetta, which were delicious. Our server, Debbie, was a delight! Brunch at Disney? The basic bitch in me was super excited. I've been to Narcoossee's for dinner multiple times and it's always an awesome experience - one of Disney's finest restaurants on property. When making dining reservations for my most recent trip I saw that Narcoossee's did Sunday brunch - since it was something new and different I jumped on it. Narcoossee's advertises their brunch as waterfront - while the restaurant sits on the Seven Seas Lagoon and they have a wrap-around porch, you are actually sitting inside. Don't worry though - the huge windows give you excellent views of the water while dining. Brunch is a set price of $69 per adult (it's less for children 9 and under, though I don't remember the exact figure). You may think the price is high, but Narcoossee's in general isn't cheap - it's one of Disney's "signature" restaurants so the price is pretty on point. For that price you get a pastry basket for the table, an appetizer, entree, and a dessert trio (three individual-sized sweets). The price also includes Prosecco, Bloody Mary, or mimosas (only the mimosas are unlimited, the other cocktails you're limited to one). There's also a special smoothie available for the kids - as well as standard coffee and soft drinks. The pastries were carblicious, and for my app I decided on the shrimp and grits. It was great - the shrimp were rubbed in a seasoning that left them slightly spicy; they also had a nice snap to them and tasted super fresh. The grits were super creamy - a great dish overall. For my main I decided to build an omelette - mine had lobster, spinach, and goat cheese. The omelette was super tasty, and it was paired with sliced potatoes which was a nice touch. The desserts were small tastings of orange, chocolate, and blueberry cakes - mmmmm. I'm glad Disney is starting to introduce brunches (the only other restaurant I know of doing it right now is California Grill). While you can't go wrong with dinner at Narcoossee's, their brunch is also stellar. read more

We ordered a salad to split between two people (which our waitress brought out on two plates for us), as well as the salmon, NY Strip, and surf and turf. This restaurant has always been a family favorite for us locals. It's a nice gazebo, beach side architecture located at Disneys GF. It has a menu that is based heavily on delicious seafoods with some turf favorites such as steak and chicken. The mussels and lobster are cooked to perfection and was definitely a tasty delight to us. Service is stellar, as expected. Definitely will come back to this place! read more

Awesome first dinner in Orlando. The Grand Floridian is beautiful and it was fun to walk around before dinner. This restaurant is on the water and a perfect place to view Magic Kingdoms Fireworks at night. You can go wrap around their deck and watch them over the water. We opted for a few cocktails- White Sangria and Margarita. Both were delicious and very refreshing. We split a bunch of appetizers for dinner. We had the slow-poached and chilled shrimp, calamari, and mussels. All of the seafood was fresh and delicious and they gave you nice portions. We were stuffed between 2 people. Service was good. We loved the location near the water. All of the food was good but nothing particularly was a standout. I loved that we were able to watch the fireworks over the water as the proximity to the Grand Floridian. We celebrated our first night of the honeymoon here (travel day). read more
