Every time I have been here, during the short three months I've lived in Bismarck, I have loved everything about Nardellos. And I ain't even had the pizza. The staff is notably good at their job. Consistently. They seem happy to be there, they're joking around with each other, genuinely they provide a fine atmosphere for a local pizza joint. The consistency is solid. I order online every time, every time they get my order right. And every time I order my food is on point. The food itself is about what you could expect from a top local pizza joint. This ain't no highfalutin chicken Parm, but it's a solid sandwich. It'll get you a good meal with enough left for lunch the next day. The meatball subs always on point with meatbulbs that are too big for a single bite. An enjoyable mess every time. The sides are tops. Order a side of cheese fries and it ain't no small bag of fries with a 1 ounce cup. It's a full on side, a full respect appetizer size. Worth every penny plus a little gratuity, because they always do it right. I think I've only had six meals from this joint in the last three months. I'm guessing over the summer months I'll have another six. One of these times I'm gonna have to try their pizza. read more

I tried their Philly steak sandwich. Being a chef in Dallas to come and spend $18 on this was crazy but open mind but it had no flavor what so ever so seasoning on the meat. I ordered a plain 14" with extra cheese to go. it was fantastic and way too much food for one person. I think I knew that going in. The flavor reminded me of my favorite pizza place in Cincinnati, Vic Cassano's. Thin crust with an emphasis on flavor. Nardello's has this in spades. Extra cheese was probably too much, but the silliest thing of all was because it was hot out of the oven, the cheese had a mind of it's own on the drive to the hotel. If you're going to get a pizza to go, bring someone with you that can hold the pizza box steady. Next time I think I'll eat in and I think I'll stick with just ordering pizza by the slice. read more

Delicious food, we did carry out and called our order in and then headed to pick it up, took us like 10 min to get there and the pizza was done and ready. We got an 18in pepperoni, absolutely the best pizza I've eaten, and I've been to NYC . So much cheese it melted in my mouth. The crust was pretty thin and soggy from the extra sauce we ordered, but it made it more delicious truthfully. Next time we come through Bismarck we are already planning on returning here. read more

I can't tell you enough... if you're looking for New York style pizza, Nardello's is THE ONLY place in Bismarck you will find it. They're extensive menu ranges from appetizers, salads, calzones, and pizza. Don't miss their garlic knots, too. They brushed with an amazing blend of roasted garlic and olive oil. I always get their calzone that is stuffed with the best ricotta on the planet. Where do they get it from? I could eat that stuff in my sleep. Grab a slice or a whole pie with an assortment of delicious toppings. Their antipasto salad is heavy on the onions and peppers. Be warned so you may want to consider it when you order. The caprese salad contained fresh tomato slices and fresh mozzarella cheese topped with fresh basil. The only bummer is their closed on Sundays. Nardello's has amped the pizza competition in the marketplace and is my favorite in the area. read more

We came to this restaurant in Bismarck because it was so highly rated. Maybe I came on an off day because of the holidays, but I wasn't nearly as impressed as other diners. They mixed up our order on a few items. The Philly cheesesteak was HUGE, and you can add any toppings you would like for a fee. It is definitely enough for two meals (or two people). I will also give them props for the gluten free crust, as it's the best I've tried. It was served on a cheap paper plate, however. Two of us ordered it to share, but we should've each ordered our own. The antipasto salad was also very tasty and covered in toppings. It was a nice addition to a pizza. read more

This place got an extra star because the staff were very nice and there were vegetarian options. And the wait time wasn't too bad either! We started with the caprese salad which was sadly underwhelming. The greens were good once, but they had bits and pieces of other greens that had wilted and turned black and slimy all mixed in...not very appetizing. The tomatoes were flavorless but it's hard to get good ones in ND in April. The mozzarella was good! And I liked that it was served with balsamic and oil. The pizza crust was great. Perfect amount of chewy and crispy. Again, tomatoes were flavorless but it's hard to get good ones here. It needed a bit more basil. Overall a little flavorless and I hate to compare it to Fire Flour but that is Nardellos' competition and frankly it just isn't as good overall. This could be just our experience. I got a cannoli and I've never had one before so I have nothing to compare it to but I liked it! It wasn't too sweet which was nice. And it presented very well. Lastly, my dining companions were very worried when they saw a staff member with a very long beard who was not wearing a "beard-net" but I know that beards don't tend to shed like head hair so I wasn't worried - and there was no hair in our food. Plus he seemed like a pleasant, hard worker :) Overall this place is very good and I hope it keeps going! They have a good menu, it just needs some perfecting. read more

Delicious! I have made a special trip to Nardello's each time I travel to Bismarck for business. It was recommended to me from a colleague that stated he would order the Philly Cheesesteak everyday when he was traveling in Bismarck. I'm not a cheesesteak fan, so I tried the meatball sandwich and it was one of the best I've had. As I said, I eat there every time I'm in town, so I've also had their pizza. Well I've been living in Mandan ND for almost three years and just now tried Nardello's pizza. I was born and raised in New York and it's difficult to find a place in the Dakota's that sells good quality New York style pizza. I have been to two new spots in Bismarck, Cascade's and New York to Go and I have to say Nardello's beats them both on what a New York style pizza should be. Cascade's is good and New York to Go is good but very expensive. But hands down Nardello's beats them both on taste and cost. Great job keep it up. read more

My turn, happy to write my review here. I am a former New Yorker of many years, Manhattan and Brooklyn, now in the great plains. When I came to Bismark for my day in town I came here and was thinking: I hope those reviews are right. A happy crowd of people inside, families, kids and all sorts and people coming in and out for their pizzas. Seems like everyone local was in the know. When I got my single slice and garlic knots, well - can I say I got a little nostalgic and choked up? How many times did I eat pizza in the many small shops in the city? same thin, crunchy crust, sauce and cheese. If I closed my eyes, I was back in time. Ok, so maybe others don't have my memories - and it's just a good pizza shop. That's ok, too. I will definitely be back. read more

After visiting twice, we were left slightly disappointed. The 1st visit had us enjoying the subs. Flavorful, filling and we'll made, however, the 2nd visit left us waiting an additional 30 mins for our order because the wings were forgotten by the staff. I will never buy another pizza from this place. I could have got a better pizza at a cheaper price from the frozen section of a grocery store. The dough and sauce was bland, the toppings seemed like cheap knockoff items. I might try the Philly next time I'm in town, saw them making one and it looked good, but then again so did our pizza. Not sure if it would be worth the stop to try it though. We stopped to get connoli and try the pizza, it was stated they make fresh cannoli but they was out of the shells for them. Anytime I'm in Bismarck this is a spot I stop in for lunch and/or dinner. Pizza is lights out. I'm a New Yorker and what I'd call a pizza snob. This is as close to authentic as it gets. YUMMY! This is my favorite pizza joint in the Bismarck area. I lived in NYC and CT which are known to have some of the best pizza in the country and I actively sought out the best I could find - and this is the only place in North Dakota that might compare. Crust is a bit thick for my liking but other than that - the sauce, the cheese, etc.: it's great! If I'm not getting the cheese pizza, I'm getting the buffalo chicken pizza. This pizza spot was on the recommended list for best pizza in the area while staying at a hotel in the Bismarck area. Unfortunately I wasnt able to drive due to the icy slipper conditions caused by an unbearable blizzard so I had to have a hotel attendant take me there. When I got there and tried their slices, I was so amazed that it was like NY style pizza that I kept stacking up on more slices. It was definitely worth it.
