YUMMY! This is my favorite pizza joint in the Bismarck area. I lived in NYC and CT which are known to have some of the best pizza in the country and I actively sought out the best I could find - and this is the only place in North Dakota that might compare. Crust is a bit thick for my liking but other than that - the sauce, the cheese, etc.: it's great! If I'm not getting the cheese pizza, I'm getting the buffalo chicken pizza. The service was amazing. I was in for our first visit on Saturday around 1:30pm. I was with my 3 little children and the staff was amazing and helpful. We bought the pizza by the slice and the garlic knots. The counter server let me know that the pizza was warm, not hot, and asked if I wanted her to heat it up for the littles. She was forward thinking enough to know that they wouldn't be able to eat / handle the hot pizza. She heated only my pizza up. We ended up sitting at the counter, and the staff put on a little show for the littles, keeping them entertained, teasing them, cheering them on for eating their BIG slices of pizza. It was the first time in months, if not years, that we enjoyed eating out with the littles that wasn't fast food with a playland. A HUGE shout out for giving us a fabulous experience. I was missing some good Calzones/Stromboli's and found this place. We got a Stromboli and it was fantastic and I would recommend this place for this reason. We also had some garlic knot's and were blown over with how good these were as well enough so that we got an extra order to take home with the Stromboli and had a bread feast lol ... Great food time and time again, even better service! Had a order come incorrect. Made a call and we had options. Either get the wrong pizza for free or get an additional pizza delivered. We chose to get the correct pizza delivered. 15 minutes later we had our pizza, and they chose to up the size. Gotta love ordering from people who back their product. Super friendly staff and great food. Really don't know how much more you could ask for. Both the sandwiches and pizzas are great, I haven't had anything I didn't like there! Service was amazing! We had a call ahead take out order and the service we received from start to finish was impeccable! The food was ok, but not fantastic for the price. We had the garlic knots - yum!!; cannoli - decent; margarita pizza - sadly very underwhelming, we needed to dip it in dressing to give it any flavor, it's like they ran out of ingredients and tried to spread them out a bit; caprese salad - pretty good; mozzarella sticks - good; and finally the meat lovers pizza - also very underwhelming. A plain store front hides one of Bismarck's treasures. Nardello's is simply a great eatery. We are fond of east coast/Greek style pizza and this is as close to New England style pizza on the prairies that we've discovered. We gladly visit here each year as we trek down from Saskatchewan. One tip, order a whole pizza, always fresh, hot and some leftovers to take home! read more

They got to be kidding. I consider myself a professional pizza eater based on being raised in Jersey. That is where eating at dominoes would be considered a sin, but I would go there before Nardello's. Had to have them put it back in the oven based on raw dough. Picture on web page showed fresh cut sausage not the prepackaged pellets on the pie. It would also be nice if they could put a decent amount of sauce on the pie. This is the best cheesesteak I have ate outside of NJ PA All the ingredients came from back east and it makes a difference, fries are crispy and generous. The pizza is incredible, good crust, not soggy like other places, nice and crisp. Terrific canollis, zeppolis It's a family run business and it shows, the place is spotless clean. Stephen and his family does a great job. One complaint though.. Not open on Sunday yet. read more

I really can't go higher than 3 stars here. While it is a pretty good pizza the first taste of the crust absolutely reminded me of Papa Murphys take and bake. That alone cost it for me at least a star. The sauce is light and pretty tasty. The cheese and pepperoni were pretty much standard run of the mill toppings. I didn't ask for extra cheese but that's what it seemed like they gave. I would give it another chance and maybe order another type pizza or a philly. read more

The service was awful. My mom and I went there and the both of us being vegetarian. my mom asked a few times if the pizza she was getting was a veggie pizza and the cashier said yes, that it's their veggie works pizza. Turns out that it is not actually a veggie pizza but there was meat all over it too. They also put both of our slices on one plate so my cheese was touching the meat. When we went back up there to get a different slice they didn't even apologise for the mix up. Never going there again. read more

Came into town to visit family and brought them here for dinner. The pizza was great my family really enjoyed it. Just the perfect amount of sauce and a nice New York style crust. My only complaint is they didn't have jalapeño. The staff was very nice and they were so fast. We will be coming back soon. read more

They are pretty good for New York Style pizza. French fries are awesome, canolli's are pretty good, and some of the staff are pretty friendly. They messed up on our pizza once, gave us a free pizza, which I donated to law-enforcement. They were very thankful!! :) read more

I'm from NY by way of Chicago. Don't like deep dish. This place is like the best NYC or Jersey has to offer! Great fantastic NY style pizza. Had a 6" chicken parm. The best I've had in years. Hands down best pizza in town. If you're a fan of east coast food, this is your place. Their customer service is amazing - my entire family feels like we're at a relative's house every time we eat here. The owners have become some of our best friends. Cannot go wrong with classic cheese or pepperoni pizza (or any flavor for that matter). Every time I bite into one of their cheese pizzas, I feel like I'm back in NYC. Love their meatball parmesan sandwich and their boardwalk fries are epic. Their deserts such as the zeppoles and canolis are addicting. Seriously addicting. Nardello's is seriously our go to place. I have been a frequent patron of Nardello's pizza, and have yet to be disappointed. I have eaten many types of pizza, sandwiches, and plenty of garlic knots from this establishment and have been decently impressed... especially considering the location and current pizza market saturation. The staff is a high point. I always enjoy the attitude and service level. The service is solid, and the establishment feels very friendly and local. Since the restaurant has opened, I have always felt that there is passion about the food, and it's not simply thrown together for a quick buck. The only negative is occasional inconsistency in temperature and texture from the by-the-slice pizza. I've only encountered this a couple of times out of many visits. The decor/ambiance is a bit tongue-in-cheek and fun... (Rat pack posters, movie posters, old music) The restaurant is small and cramped during busy hours, but worth it. I would define the food as simple, but well executed. Most of the offerings are pretty middle of the road, but the quality is what elevates it to being exceptional. The pizza has always been nicely balanced and flavorful, the dough texture and flavor is usually very nice, and the garlic knots are always very tasty. From a quick lunch perspective... Nardello's is really great, especially for the money. If you have not tried it, I would recommend it without a doubt. read more

By far the best pizza place in Bismarck. There has never been a item that i have ordered that did not taste excellent. Love the open kitchen concept i always like seeing how my food is prepared. This tells me "nothing to hide'" The staff is very friendly to not only the customers but to each other. We arrived in Bismarck on July 23rd with plans to stay for 4 days. We took a brief overview drive of the City and then decided we needed some Pizza. I always check the web sites and read the reviews from both locals and visitors. Nardello's Pizza caught our eye based on the customer reviews plus it was in a convenient location. Actually you can get around very easy in Bismarck except for the road construction and one way streets. We ordered garlic bread (sold at 50 cents each) and a 14 inch half cheese and half ham, cheese and onion pizza. The pizza was truly amazing. The cheese and ingredients were fresh and the pizza came out hot and tasty. We are very picky reviewers. I am giving the restaurant a 4.0 and would return. The only other negative, very slight, is the plastic spoons and knives. Other than that, I give Nardello's a two thumbs up. Oh yes, the staff was very friendly and customer service minded. read more

Don't get their pizza for carry out, it is only good if you eat it by the slice in house. They don't put the pizza in the oven long enough, when you do a carry out. I checked my pizza before I left and asked them to give it another 5 minutes. They showed me it and I said nope needs another 5. After 10 extra minutes in the oven it was still not even close to the crispy, golden, greasy goodness, you get if you order in house by the slice. Unfortunately, I pretty much despise, how they have their restaurant set up. Too noisy, too congested, and the seats are a no go for me as well. That being said, if you enjoy the environment it's a good place to eat, pretty damn good food across the board. Adjust your time for cooking whole pizzas to go guys. 24 bucks for a large under cooked pasty looking sh*t show will not help your business; get that fixed. Do that and you'll have a 4 from me. Still don't like the set up so I can't do 5. read more

had it yesterday for the first time. We had a variety of them. Not great or horrible either. If you like your sauce with some spices in it then pass on these guys, there aren't any. The dough is on the thinner side which I like. However, it is a bit chewy. One the pizzas had onions on it...like three(as in rings). They were sliced so thin you could see through them. Best is a matter of taste. This is assuredly New York style pizza. I'm not a big fan of the NY style but if you are then go for it. read more
