It's more than just a drink -- it's an experience.] * Ambience is fantastic and captures a true Tennessee vibe. There's plenty of seating, whether on the deck, on the lawn (where you can bring your own camping chairs), or inside the shop, which features all sorts of unique trading post decor and merchandise. * Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. * Very family-friendly, especially on the lawn. * Pricing is about average for gourmet coffee -- which isn't necessarily a downside or a compliment. In short, whether you're looking for a place to hang out with your family on a hot summer day with an iced coffee or meet a client for a morning latte, Bradley Mountain is a fantastic choice.

The space is open and well-appointed, uniting the plain charm of a barn with a more refined taste, expressed through stone and leather, and arranged with evident care. The articles for gentlemen are chosen with discernment, favouring quality and good sense over excess. The refreshments, though few, are well prepared, and perfectly suited to a light repast. The attendants are civil and obliging, contributing much to the ease of one's visit. It is, in short, a place well suited to quiet occupation or cheerful company, and one I should readily recommend.

I came back to LOS ANGELES; two of the jackets didn't fit at all. Not even close. I called, and asked for mercy. I told them and the manager that I am asking a favor for 2 jackets valuing $200 and whether I could return them in EXCHANGE ONLY, for the right size and that I would pay more for any jacket. I did not want a return I was willing to pay more and to pay for shipping and handling. I even offered to send the jackets to a friend if handling by mail was a problem. I would pay for all the shipping. I did not want to get money back, I would spend more. NO. She would not even get on the phone. What a blow to "Southern Hospitality", I will never step foot in such an asinine retailer ever again.

Hiking is not a cheap past time, not for the serious hiker. So it's pretty much a guarantee someone is going to drop some good cash when shopping for it. I got acknowledged when I walked in the store. That's it. I spent 20 minutes walking around. Looking at merchandise. Standing in front of wall displays that you can't possibly reach. And yet no offer of help. When I left the store, there wasn't even a good bye or have a nice day. I left and chose to spend my money at REI instead.

We visited the Red River with Run-A-Muck on a Saturday at 8:00 AM. We met at the rental place, got…read morea safety speech and life vests, then took a (somewhat old but functional) bus to the launch point. Lots of shade, but we stayed on the water quite a while and ended up out in the heat and sun of midday. We did not all prepare for this and are paying for that. Overall, it was a lovely float with some areas with added challenge (rocks, submerged trees, shallows) to navigate. There are quite a few rocky shore areas where you can pull up the kayaks for a break or snack. Speaking of, we brought water, but failed to bring any food. It would have been nice to have something even though we planned to eat after. The exit from the river is a bit rough, but the young men helping were wonderful. We got 3 single kayaks, and 3 upgraded single kayaks. We definitely felt the upgrade was worth it for stability, more room for heavy people, adjustable footrests, and adjustable back rest. We had a great time and definitely intend to go back again.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!…read more This was hands down the most disorganized kayak rental experience I've ever had. Our reservation was for 12:00 PM. We were running about 10 minutes behind, so we called ahead, let them know, and even paid before arriving. After getting there, we waited nearly 30 minutes for transportation to the drop-off point. The woman at the office was nice and apologized, so we brushed it off. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. When we arrived at the river, everything fell apart. An older gentleman and two teenagers were unloading kayaks, but nobody gave any instructions or directed customers. We stood waiting for another 15+ minutes while they unloaded equipment and chatted. When we finally asked what was going on, they realized they didn't even have enough kayaks or paddles for our group. We were told more kayaks were "already on the way." Meanwhile, we watched other customers launch themselves because nobody was helping them get into the water. There was another group with a 12:30 reservation sitting there with kayaks available, but instead of getting us on the river, we continued waiting. At around 1:35 PM, I called the office and was told it would be another 30-45 minutes. By then we were beyond frustrated. A manager eventually got involved, but instead of apologizing, she seemed irritated that we were upset. After more waiting and more promises that kayaks were "almost there," transportation finally returned around 2:15 PM with additional kayaks. Remember, our reservation was for noon. We had already spent over two hours waiting. The best part of the day was actually being on the river. The river itself was enjoyable, and once we finally got in the water, we had a good time. Then came the ending. When we reached the take-out point, three teenagers were checking people in. One of them stopped another group and immediately started asking for names so he could charge them a $75 late fee. Their reservation had also been at noon, and they were delayed because of issues caused by the company, not because they were late. The teenager literally told them that wasn't his problem. Then they started trying to charge our group the same $75 late fee. Absolutely not. After multiple customers complained and the manager was called, they finally admitted we didn't owe anything. The entire situation could have been avoided with basic organization, communication, and customer service. We had 4 adults, 2 older kids, and 2 younger kids and spent nearly $400. For that kind of money, customers shouldn't spend over two hours waiting because a company failed to have enough kayaks available for scheduled reservations. The river was nice. The staff experience was terrible. I've floated many rivers over the years and can honestly say this was the worst-run kayak rental operation I've ever dealt with.
