She was very punctual, nice and immediately focused on my son to make a connection. When we got to the location, she told us just to be us and try not to pose. It was a little unusual for us because most family shoots we did always require you to look in the camera and smile. Iuliia is different. She mostly takes 1-2 shots of whatever pose and moves on. She doesn't need hundreds of takes of the same thing and pictures turn out AMAZING! She is worth the money, because the pictures she took are the best we ever had. Every single one tells a story, focuses on us and is genuinely a treasure I will be showing my grandkids. The other- plain and simply, high caliber of professionalism, authenticity, and warmth that I've had the pleasure to experience after hiring KLK to work their magic for my engagement and wedding photos at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, this past July. Firstly, my fiancé is not a fan of taking any kind of photos (downright hates the mere thought of it), but Paul changed that all for him during our short engagement and wedding photoshoot so that deserves an extra thank you, as I thought that was not possible. We recently received our photos and are DEVASTATED. The quality looks like it was taken from an old flip phone by a random bystander. The photos are blurry, grainy, and taken from poor angles where you can't even see our faces.(Photos attached) Also during our proposal, she completely destroyed our special moment. She was very inconsiderate and didn't give me a minute to take in what happened (it was a surprise) and went right into posing us literally the second after my fiancé popped the question. I was crying and she told me to pose and smile... I can't even imagine how she'd be during a wedding. We reached out to her after receiving our photos to share our dissatisfaction and she blamed us for the timing of our proposal (5:15pm) and not having good lighting. Ok first of all, my fiancé gave her the time frame she would be shooting and she agreed to that. Secondly, the lighting would not fix her lack of skill and the poor angle/distance she took the photos. Thirdly, her response shows how completely clueless and insensitive she was on the sentiment of a proposal. If you want high quality photos and someone to capture special moments, do NOT make the same mistake and hire Mimi as your photographer. You're better off having a friend take pictures on their iPhone. You have been warned!
