The nail tech seemed unsure about their own polish colors and struggled a lot with color matching. Instead of the soft milky pink look I requested, the nails ended up looking purple and gradient-like, which was not what I asked for at all. To make matters worse, after only 3 days (with no excessive or rough activity), my thumb and ring finger chipped. I went back for a repair, but then after the repair, the middle finger and pinky chipped, and shortly after that, the rest of the nails chipped as well. I paid $98 for nails alone, which is very expensive for this kind of outcome and durability.

When we came back, they still didn't have time for us. It's frustrating, especially when it happens repeatedly and there's no effort to make it right. If appointments are not going to be honored, they simply shouldn't take them. Sadly, because of this consistent issue and lack of accountability, I won't be returning.

Most of the employees seem to speak enough English to communicate effectively (and of course some Spanish-speaking employees as well). My pedicure was done by Mia and I was so happy at the end, I tipped her $20 ontop of the price. They are extremely friendly, don't rush at all, and even a free shoulder rub while my toes were drying. They offer a stamp card for frequent visits so be sure to ask for one! Will definitely be back to check out their manicures.

They had another manicurist, Dolker, step in and she completely turned it around. She checked in with me on each nail and executed the design way better -- I left really happy. One tip: bring cash for gratuity -- otherwise it's Venmo only, but there's a bodega right across the street if you need it. I'd definitely come back -- just booking with Dolker next time. After disinfecting it, it stung the rest of the time. The only reason I get manicures is for the purpose of a pampering treatment since I usually do my nails at home; so the pain of the cuts was not great. It continues to feel irritated afterward and also the polish chipped after 1 day.
