This Nathan's has been here for a while and though you can get their hot dogs from just about any supermarket for a lot less $, the fries fresh from the fryer are not the same anywhere else. Crinkle cut and fried to a sweet dark brown, they are unique and flavorful. Service is hit or miss. read more

This location of Nathan's is nothing like what I know Nathan's to be. There was no communication with the staff, except for them to call when my order was ready. The food was way less than what I expect from Nathan's. I ordered two hotdog with ketchup and mustard. The hotdog were swimming with condiment so much so that it drowned out the flavor of the dog, even after I scraped most of the condiment off. The condiments are meant to enhance the flavor of the hotdog. Here it was the Star and the hotdog was third maybe last place with every bite. The only redeeming item that I purchased was the french fries with chili and cheese. It was good to know that the chili was still tasting wonderful as I always expect Nathan's to be. The tot barrels were also a let down. Semi-crispy on the outside, but the inside was like a mushy paste. As far as the ambience is concerned, it's a rest stop on a highway. I don't expect much. However, when I see Nathan's logo, I expect the quality that they''re known for since they opened in 1916. It was not at this location. Among the few choices of restaurants available, they should beacon of good food. This was a terrible disappointment. read more

Nathan Hot Dog Stand, sharing space with Annies Pretzels. A hotdog with no Mustard? Do you have any mustard? No. How about the Pretzel people in the same booth with you? Hey, do you have any mustard? NO How about pickle relish? NO. You took my order, You handed me the hotdog, charged me, but at no point mentioned, "We don't have any mustard." Pretzels and hotdogs with no mustard? Food was awful. No other way to put it. Also took an hour to get food. Not like it was busy it was just very slow. They were the opposite of a well oiled machine. Hotdogs had been sitting there for prob months. Go to the Burger King instead. Even if the line is king because I can guarantee it's faster than Nathan's with one person waiting for their food. read more

The service was terrible. Nobody spoke English or was able to communicate with customers. The store was connected to an Auntie Anne's pretzels and the staff was unable to manage both efficiently. Ordered a chicken sandwich, hot dog and a drink. After a half hour of watching 6 staff members disastrously manage the kitchen, I received a soggy sandwich doused in mayo. The hot dog was disgusting. Possibly my worst experience from a food vender ever. Unmanaged and chaotic restaurant. Not a great choice. read more

Disgusting!!! OMG!!! I was starving! All I wanted was a New York cheesesteak from Nathan's! No wonder they are famous for hot dogs! Even the fries were horrendous! My 5 year old daughter said, "these need ketchup!!!" She never uses ketchup! No wonder the service was so fast! My bread taste like they literally reheated in the MICROWAVE! What a shame! I spent over $17 for a meal!!! I could've bought the ingredients and made it myself for that price! Nonetheless, the customer service was great! Food? Not so much! read more

I love Nathan's. Not for the hotdogs but for those fries. Crinkly, soft but crispy, and most importantly with that awesome red pitchfork. I took my special man friend here on the way home to introduce him to the wonder that is Nathan's fries. We got hotdogs and unfortunately although I loved the fries, I didn't really like the chili dog I went for. A regular dog probably would have been better. Also, I thought I remember them having chicken sandwiches but they only had chicken tenders. *shrug* Nathan's is always a good time. Enjoy! read more

Someone ought to tell them that a menu means "items we serve". Now, I'll grant you, I wasn't looking for anything special, but out of the options available, a cheesesteak was the only one I was in the mood for. When I ordered, the girl said, "We don't do those." I was confused... thinking I must've mis-read the giant back-lit menu over her head... I was tired from the driving, so it was quite possible I screwed up. But no.... it was there, plain as day. So I said, "The number (whatever it was)". She said, "Yeah, we don't do those." - while looking at me like I was a moron. So, being hungry and wanting to just get back on the road, I said, "oh, um, okay.... " and I got a hotdog and fries. If you don't serve something, perhaps you should not have it, along with the price, on your menu? Oh, right.... what I *did* get. The hotdog was shriveled and what you'd expect at a Nathan's at a rest stop. I was surprised the fries were limp and soggy, though, given the line. It should've been a fairly recent batch. read more
