Yummy fries and rings. Fun smiley face ketchup. Good music. Nice staff. Retro run decor.

I normally don't even eat burgers, but my girlfriend was craving a burger today so I decided to go for it and we tried Johnny Rockets for the first time and I am glad to say that I loved it! I got the first one on the menu (I think it's called The Rocket), and it was perfect for me who is very picky. I removed the onions because I don't like onions, but it was just perfect! They made smiley faces with ketchup on paper plates, and the price was not bad. I will definitely come back again! P.S. This is located on the 2nd floor of the Palisades Mall close to the center elevators by Starbucks

Shopping in the Palisades mall , wanted to grab a quick bite , opted for Johnny Rockets Famously known for their burgers and milkshakes !! I went in a different direction and had the chicken sandwich along with my girlfriend and let me tell you , I was surprised!! Usually how could a chicken sandwich be great in a burger establishments right !? This chicken sandwich was amazing !! The chicken was cooked perfectly and for a basic chicken sandwich had a ton of flavor !! Also those French fries perfectly cooked and crispy !! Definitely try their burgers because those are also amazing !! But this chicken sandwich was fantastic !!

Fab We are visiting Nanuet for Thanksgiving and headed over to the Palisades Mall for some lunch. The mall has lots of food choices, but as soon as I spotted Johnny Rockets I started campaigning for that as our lunch stop. It was our first visit to this location. It was swell and I was on cloud 9, even if I didn't even get a shake. That would have made the visit even more boss. As it was, I had a single Route 66 burger and ordered a cheese and bacon fries for the table. The burger was delicious, the onions quite sweet. We all enjoyed the fries, it is a very large serving, plenty for the three of us. Service was unreal. It wasn't very busy on our off time visit and our server kept a good eye on us, being there promptly for drink refills, bringing the bill, etc. We all got ketchup face drawings in our bowls for ketchup, cute. Each of us commented on how much we liked our server.

Fast service, friendly waitress. I came here on Thanksgiving weekend. I did not have to wait long for a table, even though it was a Saturday. I ordered a Bacon double cheeseburger with special sauce and cheese fries. My order came out in about 15 minutes, we were a table of 3. The food was perfectly made to order, & delicious! You can taste the freshness of the food. High recommend!

First time in a Johnny Rockets - won't be the last. I was a little cautious coming in here based on several of the harsh reviews on this very site, but decided to try this place anyway for my own take. I respect everyone's experiences, but my experience here was just fine and nothing at all like I read it could be. It wasn't overly crowded (which is always good for me) and we were allowed to choose our seating. The booth was clean and the menus came instantly. I get the theme here, but the menu was basic diner-ish and the theme really meant nothing different to me aside from the decor of the place. Ordered my usual bacon cheeseburger here. Also ordered the cheesy bacon fries. The burger was good and was what I expected - though the lettuce leaf was huge and I just took it out. The cheesy bacon fries were good - and I ordered the same fries from a Shake Shack earlier in the week and these were better and had actual bacon in it and not bacon bits. The prices were what they were and there were no surprises when the bill came. The waitress and I believe the manager were both friendly and there were no unreasonable wait times. We were checked on frequently enough. The service was fast enough and efficient. Located in the Palisades mall. Overall a nice spot in the mall (and a better option than the fast food or some of the actual restaurants on the 4th floor. I would come back and will.

The service here is great and the shakes are AMAZING! Jesus was our server on thanksgiving and he was so kind. It was busy and he always greeted us with a smile. He even gave us 2 smileys with ketchup! The burgers are great too. Make sure to get the cheesy tots! Always a fan of this at Palisades Mall and it always has a wait :)

It has been a while since I've gone to Johnny Rockets to be able to have a meal. At the location of Palisades center mall, it's a nice small restaurant where I can be able to sit down and get myself a decent meal. Establishment was quite clean and waiting staff was very welcoming and friendly. The only thing negative I have to say is that I wasn't really too thrilled about the Philly cheesesteak and fries meal. The french fries were OK and the only thing I could be able to say that I was very happy to try was there a vegan vanilla shake. I am very happy that Johnny Rockets has not incorporated a menu for vegetarians and vegans. This by itself will make it more welcoming to those people who have an alternative choice against meat. My three star rating will stay for right now and maybe I will change it when I visit this location to again. This was a OK experience and I'll see what happens again and I'm going to try the vegetarian option and see how good it is.

I always ignored this place for what to be historically racist nostalgia. Turns out, they make great chicken, burgers and cheese fries.

Scott & Joe is coined "the gayest cheese shop in America" & while I haven't surveyed all of the other cheese shops in America, I agree. It's a quaint little shop tucked amongst other small shops on Broadway. Scott is behind the fully stocked cheese case serving & SERVING with a smile. He was patient while we perused the case & asked questions. We sampled some cheeses to figure out what we like & what we didn't & ended up leaving with some yummy treats. Scott & Joe also have a little bit of a marketplace with delicious options of cured meats, crackers, jams, jellies, mustards & the like: perfect for any dinner party or snack plate. In my opinion, the best part is a not so secret little bistro section in the back where you can have a seat & be served some of the most delicious sandwiches, salads, & cheeseboards in the Hudson Valley. I got the Ciao Bella this time around, but it was hard to choose because I wanted them all! Everything was so fresh & delicious - I can't wait to return! Scott & Joe also hold various events regularly, so I recommend following them on Instagram to stay in the loop.

No frills, no flashy atmosphere -- just comida auténtica and seriously satisfying flavors. I ordered the carne asada nachos and an order of tacos al pastor, and both hit the spot perfectly. Fresh ingredients, bold flavor, and that classic street-style taco taste that instantly lifts your ánimo on a gloomy day. The nachos were loaded, cheesy, and packed with flavor, while the al pastor tacos were simple, fresh, and delicioso. And yes... we washed it all down with a Coke Zero in a glass bottle because somehow it siempre tastes better that way. Now, if you're looking for upbeat energy and polished service, este lugar probably isn't it. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced and lacked motivation. But where the service fell short, the kitchen absolutely delivered with authentic flavors and generous portions. Sometimes the best spots are the quiet little hole-in-the-wall places that let the food do all the talking.

I'm a sucker for a good bread pudding but i should have reconsidered since that was the thing they seemed to have plenty of. They didn't heat that or the pear Tartlett up; eating them both cold was unsatisfactory (I know we should have said something but then a line was forming) and I felt sick after eating the bread pudding (perhaps too rich and just too cold and sad).
