    Cheesy Tomato Bisque
    Megan C.

I had never been to Nathan's when it was on Park and I still haven't been inside their current location at the Henrietta marketplace. I ordered delivery via Yelp/Grubhub yesterday and was REALLY impressed by the timing of my order (I ordered for 12:30pm and it arrived at my door at 12:31pm), and how delicious my entire order was. If you get a soup, be prepared to reheat! It didn't come completely cold, but it came at basically room temp which I was totally good with. I reheated it to my piping hot preference and was ready to dive in. And dive in I DID! WOW - the cheesy tomato bisque is absolutely delicious. There are some small chunks of roasted tomato and the cheese makes the bisque souper creamy. I ordered a small soup with a sandwich, but in the future would likely just order a side of the rosemary olive oil bread to dip. An ideal lunch! For my sam, I went with the stuffed tuna, and stuffed it was. This is a huge, bready sandwich made with whichever of their homemade breads you prefer. Classic, cheesy garlic, rosemary olive oil and a few more options. I personally loved the soft bread and thought it went perfectly with the tuna and soup. I wouldn't necessarily order delivery from here again (fee was steep at $7) but I would absolutely order for a group from here, or do catering! I've heard great things about their chicken salad and am looking forward to trying more items in the near future.

    Cobb salad missing chicken salad

Had one of their sandwiches for lunch today. There's not much to say - the photo of the sandwich speaks for itself. Turkey and provolone with lettuce and tomato. ALL bread, and very little meat. The tomato slices were large for some reason. Not sure why they are using such gigantic rolls, but it led to a very dry and bland sandwich.

    Korean BBQ Noodle Bowl
    Eric B.

I grabbed a quick lunch at Nathan's with my girlfriend based on a recommendation from her co-worker. We were both rather disappointed with the meal as we tried their new Ramen Noodle dishes. The highlight of the Ramen noodle bowls was the chicken bone broth, which had great flavor. This must stem from their prowess at making homemade soups because everything else about the Ramen bowl was disappointing. The boiled chicken breast was unseasoned and poorly cut before they splashed some bbq sauce on it and set it atop some "ramen noodles." The peppers were raw and crunchy like you would want on a salad. The hard boiled egg was sliced in half and cold in the center. The final kick in the gut was the "ramen noodles", which were more like broken in half angel hair pasta with an overly soft consistency and no flavor of its own. This was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to finish my "Korean BBQ ramen" on the cold December day. I also tried the Seafood soup, which was good but not enough to redeem my overall experience.

Mmmm it was OK, a decent selection of soups and sandwiches (didn't try a salad) that they serve fairly quickly. I was a bit disappointed in the existence and amount of filler items in the soup lots of potato or in my buffalo chicken overcooked elbow macaroni? I never think elbow macaroni when I think buffalo chicken. The chicken, roasted red pepper n limp bacon sandwich had good flavor. I'd agree with other reviewers that the chicken seems like the solution injected prefab stuff. We sampled a jalapeño bread, which they forgot to give us the first time around. It would have been so much better if the cheese was melted or warmed, what magic bread gremlin can cook bread without the shredded cheddar melting? I tucked it away and toasted it into a magical ham sandwich the next day, well worth the wait. Lobster bisque wasn't on the menu but a crab chowderish option was. There was a hefty portion of imitation crab, I think a disclaimer would be nice when not using the real thing since real lobstah is reportedly used in the lobstah bisque.

    Grandma's Italian Wedding Soup
    Sue E.

I used to love this place when they were located on Park Ave! I feel the quality has gone downhill, unfortunately. Ordered Italian wedding soup today. Had to toss it. It was a bowl of grease! Asked about the Turkey salad on chalkboard menu. Was told "we haven't carried that in 3 years" (then why is it still on menu???) Asked for saltine crackers, was told "We have been out of crackers for 3 months now" (Ok but grocery stores have them). Not a good experience all around and I just threw my $5.00 bowl of greasy soup in garbage!

Never had been here. This location is in the same plaza as Lori's and Palmers off Jefferson. The service was really good. Went about 1pm on a saturday and most of the breads were sold out but still managed to get the garlic cheese which was amazing. Fresh baked and warm. Tried the tuna salad on croissant and the cream of potato soup. The meal as a whole was very satisfying . You know how after some out to eat meals your left with that "bluuuuhhhh" feeling? Here I was left with "mmm yes delicious" . The tuna was really good. The soup was perfect for this blast of cold weather we just encountered. The calories are low for a cup of soup which just gives it that 5th star!! . There are 2 other locations on Park Ave and Memorial Dr. If you haven't been I highly recommend you try. Hours: Spring Mon-Fri 10am-6pm Sat-11am-2pm Closed Sun.

Fire roasted veggies and ancient grains w/ bone broth Yummmm!!

We had our Italian cousins in town where English is the 2nd language and she was short and rude. Then it came to me and she, again was short and when I asked a question she said "can't you see it right there?" At that point I had it and said I don't want the food anymore but didn't engage further ... she responded "whatever"! My wife asked to see the manager down toward the register and she kept on "chirping". I looked at her, put my finger over my mouth and said this doesn't concern you. This was when she raised her voice and said "I'll say whatever I want you can just leave! I get paid anyway." My response: "Exactly your problem" We took her advice and now the four of us walked out. People around saw this interaction and had weird looks on their face. The woman is awful and should NEVER work with customers. Entitled and pompous. There is NO WAY that this is her first interaction like this and I blame management. The place needs to elevate their standards for who they hire and the environment they expect their customers to experience. She needs to go!

The food was fresh and tasty and that's what's the most important... but sadly they fell short in every other way. We were there mid-afternoon on a Saturday and the store was not busy. There was a lot of staff working but, despite that, the counter people seemed indifferent and, in a couple of cases, in a bit glazed over. They were mostly invested in a group conversation that they were having. We received the food and proceeded to find that there were no forks available. I asked for two forks and the staff member seemed a little annoyed with me... and was kind of snippy about me inadvertently standing in front of the cupboard where they were stored. The restaurant dining area was, to say the least disheveled. Napkins on the floor, cups left on tables and the majority of the tables not wiped down. Understandable during prime times but not with better than half the staff just hanging out and only a few other customers in the store. Finally, while I realize that every business is trying to do more with less, the portions were truly skimpy. I'd be surprised if there was more than an ounce of chicken on the salad. Much less than I typically see at other restaurants. Indifferent staff, a slovenly dining area, under supplied and miniscule portions. Sorry to say that this resty has jumped the shark.

I arrived hungry and excited to try the food, especially after hearing good things about the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations. The black beans tasted like they came straight from a can and had virtually no flavor. The chicken was tender enough, but the only flavor I could taste was salt. In fact, it was so salty that I found myself reaching for the green sauce with almost every bite just to make it enjoyable. Without the sauces, I don't think I would have finished the meal. Be prepared to drink plenty of water afterward. On the positive side, the customer service was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The prices are definitely reasonable, and you get a good amount of food for your money. Overall, it's an affordable lunch option with great service and a clean environment, but the food itself could use more seasoning and flavor beyond salt. For that reason, I'm giving it 3 stars.
