Alas, the fridge needed a part that had to be ordered and it would be Wednesday between 12:30-5:00 before they'd have it and could get back. Only problem I have with them is that most companies I've worked with will apply the service call fee (~$125 in this case) towards the actual repair if a repair is needed, and Register Appliance does not. Generally, the service call fee is to cover the cost of sending a service tech out when no actual service is needed--and maybe covering a very, very simple fix (like tightening a loose hose or something). In this company's case, this is not true. To be clear, I was informed of this when I booked them, so this was NOT a surprise, but I was also in a bit of a tough spot, as my mother needed a working dryer immediately.

I sent specific information on the machine and the problem. This is a newer model machine as well. The first tech that was sent over told me that he didn't work on these machines and kind of stood around and then gave up. This was not impressive. However, a different tech came the following day (Andres). And, he was able to take the machine apart and find the origin of the leak. The replacement parts were ordered. And, I was happy to see Andres a few weeks later with the replacement parts. He showed us the problem (a hole and crack in the detergent dispenser ... On a new machine) and replaced it in about an hour and a half. We were the 10th appointment of the day according to the appointment tracker. And he was still efficient and polite. So, while it was a rough start. I'm happy to say it got better!

Scott was great. He…read morejust diagnosed and fixed my dryer problem. In retrospect, it was probably something I should have been able to figure out. (Dryer was fine, but circuit breaker was the problem). He still systematically diagnosed everything methodically and efficiently, taking apart the the dryer quickly, testing voltage and putting everything back together again properly. Although a part of me feels silly for paying the diagnostic fee when the dryer didn't need actual fixing, Scott's fee was pretty reasonable. He responded quickly and was extremely polite. I'm hoping none of my appliances give out anytime soon, but I wouldn't hesitate to call Scott again.

Spoke with both Rebecca and Holden by phone for scheduling and worked with the tech Trevor, for repair work. Trevor made several trips, and for (I think around $300.00) the washer was back up and running. Took less than a week for a new computer board but everything was explained to me well. This was a bit concerning but even more so when he wanted payment to be made in cash for his assessment. I only had a check, which was ultimately accepted. He could not perform the necessary repair that day and said he would come back 48 hours later and confirmed an appointment. After calling several times, the owner asked for payment to be made in cash and when I said I'd prefer check or credit card, he then said he could no longer perform the repair. VERY DISAPPOINTING! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I have now had to hire a new company, and pay another diagnostic fee to assess my appliance issues, in which they performed several tests, and determined it was not even the same issue Tamarez Appliances said was the problem. I am so upset i just got scammed!
