Do not purchase a car from National Auto Plaza - this is the first time I've ever written a review and probably my last but I was that disappointed I found myself in a very frustrating situation that just seemed to get worse and I didnt feel the dealership had my best interests whatsoever from buying the car to the many issues the car had after driving it off the lot. The car I purchased seemed great, despite some interior cosmetic issues I decided to buy the car which took forever I didnt feel like a priority at all as I was forking over money... I overheard the salesman swearing when I was trying to negotiate outside then proceeded to come in grinning ear to ear. I was in a tough spot otherwise I would have just left. They did a total half job fixing the broken cupholder which should have been my first red flag with some glue and paint. looks horrible. I then drive the car for 2 days to have my EPC light and Engine light come on, the car won't accelerate and I call the dealership immediately, they tow it and thankfully the turbo that went out was under VW warranty because national auto plaza had no intention on helping with their DUD car which they insured had been inspected (even paid a 150 inspection fee when buying the car) so I was shocked to have issues arise this quickly clearly an inspection was not done I had a horrible time getting into contact with management or my salesman, calls werent returned, placed on hold and it would then be hung up "they're busy". " they will call back" this happened multiple times until I just went in person after not hearing back from the floor manager. I had asked the service department if the turbo was there only thing wrong, they said to me it was the only thing, I had a feeling something was withheld so I called around to VW dealers to find my car and on the third dealership I found it, I learned the radiator cooling fan was ALSO broke. To my frustration I call national auto, caught in a lie they danced around my confrontation and paused, then said it would be 500 to fix! mind you I owned and drove this for 2 days to and from work... they said it wasn't under the 3month 3,000 warranty and "they don't know how I was driving it" which I took offense to I put maybe 70 miles max on it (freeway miles) Finally I got the car back, took it to a shop and paid 400 to fix the problem and rid my hands of this unprofessional, deceitful and lack of integrity of a team. Oh and to add to it when I took it to the shop my dang guard on the undercarriage was hanging on by a thread 6 bolts were missing the shop just replaced it for free after I told them why I was there in the first place they were surprised where I bought the car wasn't handling these issues being I had it for 2 days. I guess I should have done a better job inspecting the car. You should too, and even then best of luck with the entire team there. They dont have your best interest in mind and id stick to the larger dealerships. read more

I am in need of a new car. Since National auto plaza is doing cash for clunkers I thought that was the best option for us. So I browsed their website found a car I wanted, called and told them what I was planning on doing and the car I was wanting to trade it for. They said ok it's still available come on down and when I got there they told me, you can't trade a clunker for a clunker. I was looking at a 2005 Honda Civic. So I'm angry as it is because I drove my very unsafe clunker to this dealership based off what they told me over the phone just to find out they lied and refused to sell me the car I wanted. They had me try out a 2004 Toyota Camry saying that one has been through their shop. I took it to my mechanic and attached were the list of problems. How it made it through their shop I have no idea. I asked how the 2005 Honda is a clunker and the older 2004 Toyota isn't a clunker and their response was, "Toyota's hold their value" well duh moron, so do Honda's that's why we are wanting a Honda or Toyota.... They did not inform us that they had sold out car when we took the car we got from them back after they could not finance us. (Which they promised they could do!) When test driving a vehicle I felt a thud and the salesman said I hit the curb. I have felt this kind of thud before in other vehicles and new it was the transmission. Come to find out it was the transmission. So the salesman lied to me, then he still tried to get me to buy it. I left and will never go back and advice others, don't go here. Got a call from Bobby saying that NAP was interested in buying my car. I went in to see what they would give me. Turns out they took all my information down, "which was needed so they could see what I owed and who I was financed through." Bobby said, "don't worry this won't affect your credit." Next day, I find out that they hard pulled my credit and my score dropped 2 points. I'm pissed! I was only trying to sell my car. I never gave them permission to pull my credit. Then they tried to sell me a Tahoe. I ended up leaving with no word on what they would give me for my car either. Waste of time and Bobby is a liar just looking for a sale. read more

September 25th at 10:30 am PST I called the Sandy location number listed on the websites and google. It was a catch-all number that asked me which location I wanted. I told them Sandy and was put on hold for a while, then the operator came back on and apologized and said, "We are working on it for you." A while longer a Sandy location operator answered and asked who I wanted to speak with. I told her I wasn't sure but wanted to speak to someone about the ads the Sandy location was running on gaming apps. She said, "Hold on." After a long wait a sales rep got on the phone and asked what car I was looking for. I told him I wasn't looking for a car, but wanted to talk to someone about the ads the Sandy location is running on gaming apps. He seemed confused and kept trying to sell me a car. I told him the ads I saw the night before while playing a game had a women scantily clad, over-sexualized mannerisms, etc. and therefore the ads greatly offended me. He seemed increasingly confused and jabbering several times about him knowing they had ads on facebook and maybe apps--but never addressed my concerns or spoke to them at all, despite me repeating the same concern several times. I finally told him I would think you all would want to know this can be offensive, considering the investment made in production and advertising, and you might want to consider the content. He said he was in sales and didn't know what I was talking about. He told me call back if i wanted to talk to a manager. I told him I was transferred several times and on hold several times to get to him the first time and would prefer not to call back. He said he would try and see if a manager was available. Before putting me on hold, he said, "I don't know what your point is, at all." That is a verbatim quote. He then walked away from the phone, but did not put me on hold. I could hear extremely loud, suggestive music in the background. After a short while someone hung up the phone. I was disconnected. I then went back on google and tried to find a national number for a corporate office to talk with about their offensive advertising. I was unable to locate such a number. This is the first review I've ever written. If I have an issue I take it directly to the one I have an issue with. I tried to do that in this case and was unable. So at the very least I wanted to advise others of my experience. I tried to stick to facts and not add emotion, and I understand my opinion of the ads is not indicative of everyone's opinion. Very highly pressured sales representatives, when they are not all on the back porch smoking, Sales representatives are full of empty promised and do not follow through! They promise the sky and do not deliver! The waiting time to see if you are qualified to the time it takes them to get you into financing (after you have been jerked around for multiple attempted "used car salesmen offers" is ridiculous! After the car is bought, then you will notice all the problems that the sales representative forgot to tell you about! When you question about it, you are told that you will just have to live with the lemon that they just sold you! Usually when you purchase a new car, they will clean the car and fill up the tank with gas, nope, not at National Auto Plaza! Why does it not surprise me that car salesmen deserve one star? I was called in by a salesman at the company who claimed that "[he had] a client who wanted to buy my car". My car was posted online one day previously. I assumed the worst, but still fell for the trap. After wasting about half an hour of my time, they finally came back to me and offered less than half of what I was asking (which was fair to begin with). There was no client interested in my car (straight up lie). I am not sure why the salesman wasted my time, but did he really think that one day after listing my car, I was going to accept less than 50% of its book value? I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone, even if my life depended on it. At first, the sales associates were very kind and willing to help me in any way. Unfortunately, the way they acted was not the same after purchasing a car. They told me that the car would be checked out and fixed before I drove it off of the lot. Well, I went to pick up the car when they said all had been fixed and everything seemed to be working fine. Less than three hours after having the car, it wouldn't start back up. Finally, I was able to get it jumped and took it back to the dealer. They ensured me that they would fix the problem. Several days later, I came to pick up the "fixed" car and things seemed to be working as they should. 3 days later, I received several letters in the mail that were dated the same day that I picked up the car for good. These letters informed me that NAP had lied about talking to the bank and that they were unable to finance the car like they promised. I was told I had fourteen days to return the car and pay for the mileage I drove. Needless to say, as I drove back to the dealer, yet again, to return the car, the check engine light came on. I am so glad to be rid of that piece of junk car they sold me. Returning that car was where the true colors of NAP came out. They informed me that I would have to come back the next day when the right people were in. Thankfully I had all of my paperwork with me and they couldn't run around and make excuses for why they couldn't help me. They expected me to come back at their convenience, despite my busy schedule. They also tried to tell me that I had to pay over $100 dollars for the miles that were put on the car since buying it. I am here to tell you that most of the miles put on that car were from them testing the car after "fixing" various problems. Edin, was the person I worked with and I want to tell everyone to never ever work with him if you go here. He put on a show and tried to inform me that he was a good person and wasn't playing any tricks with me. Hey, Edin, you were...I am no idiot and I know you were doing the runaround to either get me to have to come back another time or keep that piece of CRAP car. I can't believe he had the audacity to ask me if I had learned my lesson from this experience. In answer to your question, yes I have. I have learned to never come to NAP, to inform anyone and everyone to never go here, and that you guys are the most rude/inconsiderate people I have ever met. You all don't know what it means to be professional. Your job is to do everything you can to help the customer, especially if the things going on are your fault. You also have no right to assume things and make statements about a persons age. I really do hope that no one has to go through what I went through with NAP. DO NOT bring your car here to be serviced! They are COMPLETELY DISHONEST! My brakes started making a tiny squeal so I brought my vehicle in. They told me I needed all new breaks and rotors and it would be $480. It didn't sound right to me because they were done not that long ago and I know what "completely bad" rotors feel like. They guy just felt shady with the way he was talking so I told him I'd go get a second opinion. He was upset with me and rudely responded "So I have to put everything back together!?" I went to another place and the guy said all my brakes and rotors looked fine. And I had at least another 6-8 months for my breaks. He said a bracket was loose and was causing the noise. He charged $35 for a new bracket. I can't believe NAP's service was flat out lying to me! I bought my current vehicle there and was about to buy a truck. I had a salesman looking for the exact one I want, but guess what? Your dishonest service man lost you my business. I'm going elsewhere. read more

I will never refer ANYONE to National Auto Plaza. The salesman, service team, and even the management are complete scum bags. We worked primarily with Jon and Chris. Both of them were so wonderful to begin with. Told us all of the right things, joked around with us, made us feel completely comfortable. Jon even told us what to expect, what to say to the managers to get the deal we wanted, and everything. Neither my husband or I felt comfortable making a decision right then, but it was the last day of the month and Jon asked us to sign the papers so he could get his bonus, and let us know that we had 3 days to cancel if we wanted. There were also minor issues with the cars that we wanted fixed before we took the cars, and he told us not to write any "repairs" on those forms because they would try to charge us, and that he would get it taken care of for us. We ended up buying 2 cars, and also referred several people to them who also bought cars. We came back within the 3 day period to cancel our contracts because we had decided that we didn't want to go through with it. We went straight to Jon, who seemed upset but agreed to help figure something out. He got his manager (Chris) involved and then DISAPPEARED. He was nowhere to be found. We had him paged several times and he never came until about an hour later. In the meantime, we were stuck with his airhead manager Chris. Chris was very unprofessional and very rude. He raised his voice to us and told us that there was nothing we could do about it. Chris ended up leaving us stranded also. Koo, the finance guy, ended up coming out and talking to us. He tried to resolve the situation, but also raised his voice to begin with. He refused to speak with my dad who was there as support. Jon showed up later on and was very emotional, told us that we were going to make him lose his job. Then he disappeared again and my husband got a text saying "I hope you're happy, I lost my job now." (To which we found out was not true, because we came back several times and he was still there.) He also texted some of the people we referred to tell them to tell us to stop. Eventually we agreed to work some things out with Koo and we took the cars home. Both of our cars, AND TWO of the cars that were bought because of our referrals, have had MAJOR issues and it has only been 6 months. We have had to spend thousands of dollars on our cars since then to get them in working, decent order. One thing is the Catalytic Converter, which would not have passed inspection. Also the trunk of the SUV will not close, which also would not pass inspection. This was also something that was promised to be fixed... broke AGAIN within a week of buying it, and they refused to fix it again. My husband's windows don't work. We dropped it off to have it fixed, and picked it up with MORE problems than when we dropped it off. And the windows are still not fixed. We were told it was under warranty because it was something they worked on before we bought the car, but then when we took it back to get worked on, they informed us that the problem i s not what they worked on before, so it would not be covered under warranty. National Auto Plaza is full of sleazy, dishonest people and I will never refer anyone there again. read more

If you're thinking of going here, do yourself a favor and go to Larry H. Miller instead. I dealt with Tyler, Sid, and Ozzy. They put together a "unicorn" of a deal, hoping I would drive the truck for a week, fall in love, and then pay more money after they decided to tell me they couldn't get it financed. They told me my deal was financed, then asked for more money down and a co-signer after I told them Multiple times that I would not put more money down or ask anyone to co-sign when I initially signed the contracts. Ozzy seemed to get irritated that I actually read my contracts in the first place. After going in multiple times (they refused to return my calls) and telling them that no bank would finance the deal they put together and we needed to renegotiate or find a new car they continued to throw my deal to different lenders. 9 total. Each one doing a hard inquiry on my credit. Then Ozzy denied sending it to that many, until I listed each one by name. Then told me he got the deal financed for almost $100 more than I initially agreed to pay. I took my trade-in back and went straight over to Larry H. Miller where Shane and George got me into a much nicer truck, for less money, and gave me a better service agreement. I'm writing this review to help the next person who maybe thinks about going to these crooks. They were nice, and definitely convinced us they were giving us a steal of a deal. THEY ARE CROOKS. We bought a used vehicle, for several tens of thousands of dollars. Hadn't even made our first payment... only had it 3 weeks.... and it breaks down. We take it in, the manager shakes my husbands hand and looks him straight in the eyes and says they will take care of it, they want us to be happy because we just purchased it. Great!! They check it out, and it's an engine issue. Mechanic calls us, says the dealership will not cover or help pay for any of it. It's going to be thousands of dollars to fix (still have not even made a single payment on it) My husband went in and spoke to the manager again, shakes his hand, looks him in the eyes and says, they'll take care of it...... 3 hours later, text from manager, we can't take care of it.. you'll need to pay for the repairs. Sorry what??? We just bought it, and you looked me in my eyes and shook my hand saying you'd do it. Sorry. Wow...... so we come to grips with having to pay for it, and say okay, I guess we have no choice... WE JUST BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE WE NEED IT. Go ahead and fix it. Fast forward a week.... get a call, sorry but the part to fix it is on back order for 2 months, so we won't have it fixed for 2-3 months and you can't pick it up because it is in pieces at our shop. Or you can pay $1500 and we will put it back together and you can come get it until we get the part.... long story short, don't go here. Don't buy anything here, don't trust a single person here. We have a family to take care of and my husband now can't get to work because he doesn't have a truck BECAUSE THESE CROOKS sold us an already broken truck and they can't even fix it, and REFUSE TO HELP IN ANY WAY. Buyer beware! Here is my story about these jokers or should I say theifs! I had recently sold my 2004 Honda civic and had some cash in my pocket about 3000 I decided to look around for a full size truck and after looking at numerous dealerships I somehow managed to end up here! A guy greeted us, me my wife and kids I told him I was looking specifically for a full size truck and was looking on the back of the lot at the trade in vehicles because I didn't want to pay a lot for a Used truck I should have just left when he looked at us and told us we needed credit he sized us up by our appearance we looked poor. I told him several times I wanted a full size truck to use for work and such the first thing he showed us was a Toyota Sequioa which is not at all a truck he was like you need credit to get a truck everyone and their dog wants one! He didn't know we had our own money in enough to buy a truck! I pointed out a ford F150 I liked he said he will look into it and came back and said we've got a great truck right here a red 2004 Dodge Dakota for about 8000 I drove it and it seemed good and strong we went in and went through their process he came back with a paper and the price was 9000.00 I said no he played the whole game of that's my manager over there I'll let you tell him he agreed to 8000 out the door and we finished the paperwork 3 hours later we were finally done. I had the truck for a week it was great until we drove it up to Park City It Ut it overheated going up Parleys canyon there was no load just me my wife and kids. A couple week later I got a call from the salesman that I needed to bring the truck in so they could do emissions on it because the Check engine light was on before I bought it and they supposedly had their so called ASE certified mechanics fix it. As I was on my way to take it in guess what the check engine light came on I was done! I told him I wanted a different full size truck and would pay the difference he said he would talk to his manager. He called back later and said he was working with the customer relations manager and they want us to have a good experience so we went back and looked at a Ford F350 drove it around it seemed much better. I looked up that model of truck on KSL.COM to get an idea of what they were going for and that truck I had just drove was on there for $15,847.00 he came back with the paperwork and the price was $19,999.00 with some $3,000.00 discount I showed him the add I still had it up on my phone and said this is you guys correct? He left and came back and said the truck has just been sold while I was there looking at it. I said what else do you have in that range he came back with a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 for a little more I checked KSL.COM and it was there for the price he quoted so we decided it would be a good truck and bought it took a $2000.00 loss on my 3 week old trade in and gave them an additional $14,000.00 and then the guy in the back was so pushy about the $3500.00 warranty which I declined because I was already spending too much and was stuck so now I have a $12,000.00 base model Dodge truck that I paid $22,000.00 for oh yeah and the check engine light is on after 2 days! *THEY ASKED ME TO SIGN A BLANK CONTRACT* Avoid this dealer at all costs. They use the sleaziest sales tactics I have ever seen. The "sales person's" actual job is to waste your time and wear you down. after about two hours when you think you have agreed on a price they send you back to the "Finance guy" where the real deal actually takes place. He inflates the price, ropes together a bunch of BS you don't need and random fees including a credit check fee which is about $50. They charge you for everything in they cost of business, including licensing and state inspection fees. They ran several hard inquires against my credit when they only needed to do one. You can get GAP from your bank. And that warranty is designed to cover things that don't ever break. read more

This place is a scam. I bought a used Lexus from them about a year ago and everything was fine. I went to trade it in and come to find out it had a dirty car facts. Needless to say my trade in went from decent to horrible. When I bought the car I asked the salesman if the car was clean and he said it was. They buy cars with a clean title, but with less than perfect car facts so they can increase their margins. Don't waste your time with this place. I went to NAP looking for my perfect car. When you are buying a car you expect to trust the person your dealing with. Wow! I got screwed! I bought my car, 1 month later it was in the shop. Come to find out, it never went through a full inspection before I purchased it. The 1st month i got to drive my new car, everything fell apart, including, my front bumper that was held together with zip ties. Many things went wrong there. In the meantime of all these issues, I tried getting in contact with my salesman, the owner, etc. no response. This whole situation has been the worst experience I've ever encountered. ****NEVER BUY a vehicle from NATIONAL AUTO PLAZA!!**** Especially one that has over 85000 miles because there will be no warranty, if it's under 85000 miles it will have a small warranty they provide, please know that they DO NOT! Inspect or repair trade inns, a simple emissions and safety they consider good enough because it's all the state requires. Before buying a car from NAP PLEASE be sure to have the vehicle checked by a place that specializes in the make and model of the vehicle and this may cost you but you'll have peace of mind. I did this and low and behold there response was "how were we supposed to know about the problems your mechanic found" easy you have a shop on site right? I'm not positive but I'd bet a finger that they have other cars that should not be up for sale and that they are aware of it. When i brought the issues up about the car I was considering buying they told me that I didn't have to buy it and that someone else would come in and purchase the vehicle, someone less savvy. I told them the price we negotiated should also reflect at least one of the repairs that needed to be made they declined and stated that someone would walk through there door and buy the vehicle as is or they could repair the vehicle themselves and mark it back up then sale it above book, in other words one person wasn't going to make a difference in the way they go about business. The vehicle I was considering had a check suspension light on during the test drive mind you the sales man said it had been repaired by them in house and that the light would go on and off and wasn't an issue until I took it to get checked and found out the air compressor was bad and needed to be changed to the tune of $1450, they also found that the whole front suspension needed to be replaced at $1400 and to top it off the vehicle shut off during the test drive and come to find out the alternator was over charging causing inconsistent idle and needed to be replaced. All of this and they actually told me rather than accommodate me they could do nothing for me because it would eat into their profit now mind you this was a trade inn! I was searching for a car in Dec. 2017. NAP had two which were appealing. When I got there one had been sold so I checked out the other one. It seemed nice but there was a high pitched sound the engine was making but was told it was nothing. I ended up purchasing it and the salesman actually was the best part of the sale, he got me a lower rate than what I had originally been offered. One month later had to do an oil change and was told it had a rear main seal leak. Took it in for warranty check and told it was an oil pressure sensor (not covered by warranty). Had to pay $100 for diagnostics and another $171 for parts and labor. Second month, had to replace brakes. I have replaced the brakes twice in one year but keep getting told nothing wrong. Then in August the car left my son stranded on the freeway. The serpentine belt had come off. had it towed to the lot again warranty issue. Was told that they would work on it Saturday since it was almost closing on Friday. Called on Saturday and told haven't looked at it and we go home at 1 P.M. I had to take half a day off work because I don't get off until 3 p.m. Then after looking at the car they tell me its a Tensioner pulley. The bearings had gone out and it fried the pully (based on my warranty information should be covered by warranty, but warranty company closed, NO ONE said anything to me prior to this) another $200 and no more high pitch sound(was going out when I purchased it). Now the computer seems to be having issues and again I will have to take it to them because it might be covered by warranty. This will be definitely another $100 , I've priced the computer(programmed and updated) only $160 but can bet they will try and charge me $600 plus labor and all they have to do is pull the battery and unplug computer then install new one. I do not recommend buying from here. You could end up upside down on a five year loan and get a lemon of a car. Also reporting to BBB. read more

They didn't help much ... in fact they told us we were financed and then sent us a letter saying we have 14 days to send back the car but by the time the letter got to us we only had 4 days to return it ... no phone call about the issue... AND in front of EVERYONE in the store the finance manager said my credit score out loud .... we have talked good about them to everyone till now ... and they refuse to help us ... I'm pretty upset now they took my boyfriend car and it doesn't run anymore and if they give us money back it will only be 1000 leaving us with a 4,000$ car payment with no car ... hmmm I don't understand and the finance manager must of been in a rush he didn't give us a chance to even read the contract... so yes I'm annoyed now we have one car with a baby and two different kinds of shifts for work ... Went to browse some cars with my boyfriend, and one of the salesman (around his 40's or older, he never gave us his name) came up to us and asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were looking for a Sentra and he said he had one and was walking us towards it. He then asked what our budget was as we told him that is when he became a jerk. He asked us if we walked or drove to the location (which I don't believe it really matters) and when we said we walked he then became rude and said, "then keep on walking" and he left. As a salesman he should be professional no matter our budget, his job is to sell. He could of told us of other options on cars or even up sell, we are the ones who will decide in the end. He didn't have to be so rude. Apparently to him we weren't good enough. I suggest to anyone to NEVER come here unless you are willing to put up with a rude salesman and can tolerate such disgusting customer service. I wish I could give them no stars. read more

I bought a car last October 2013. It has been the worse car that I have ever owned. Even though it was "As is", they did not disclose the issues of the car. Three months after we bought the car we found out ALL of the engine mounts were cracked. This is a huge safety issue. They also sold us the car at $14,000 and by 3 month it was only worth $8-9,000. It was a 2004 Nissan Murano. So we are upside down on the car and can not do anything about it. Once again we are having mechanical issues. When I asked one of their employees they told me "Why did you buy from us when you have great credit" So I guess if you have bad credit you deserve a crappy car. read more

We had nothing but issues from the time we walked in the door. We were greeted at our truck door, even before we got out of our truck, we got out of the truck and we told the dealer we were here for a new truck, this is our trade in. We do not have a down payment, and we can only afford a $300 a mnth truck payment. We asked to have paperwork done first so they knew where we stood and what trucks they could show up that we could afford, with our trade in. They said it doesnt work that way, we have to find something we like before they can see if we can afford it. We started looking at trucks and found one we liked. They told us the truck payment would be $600 a mnth. I told them we already told you we could only afford $300, that is why I asked you to look at the paperwork first and not show us something we couldnt afford. after 2 hours of negotiations we agreed to $350 a mnth and $200 down. We got into financing to sign the paperwork and the own paper had gone up to $400 dollars. We stood up to walk out and they went back down to $200.00 down. After that we had the truck for about a mnth and the transmission started acting up. The sales man that helped every couple weeks would text us about a new truck they got in. We kept saying we just got a truck we cant get another one. It affects our credit every time we get a new loan. He wouldnt stop. After 6 months of texts my husband finally went in again they showed him a new truck. Again we told them we cannot afford a bigger payment than we agreed to last time. $350 is the limit. We do not have a down payment. Again going into financing the price of the truck went up to $365 a mnth and they said we agreed to $350 down. The truck they wanted to sale us had major issues, the front end was messed up from an accident, the shocks were back, the auto locks dont work, the tires were worn. The check engine light was on. They said they would fix all issues with the truck. But they wouldnt hold the truck for us. We had to sign the paperwork before they would start fixing the truck. My husband believed them and signed the paperwork. They fixed 1 issue with the truck. They kept the truck for 2 weeks in their shop. They got the check engine like to turn off. the other issues didnt get fixed. After we picked up truck we filled out the paperwork to get our gap insurance back from the trade in. They said they would process the paperwork. after 2 weeks of calling and asking about the refund they finally said we dont get it back because we used it for our down payment. We gave them cash for the down payment. They refused to refund our gap insurance. We had a friend that needed a car and my husband, still trusting this dishonest company, sent him down there. The salesman contacted my husband and thanked him for sending the referral and we would get a $350 referral. after 2 weeks of waiting for a referral we called them again. They again said we wouldnt get the referral because we didnt give our friend a business card. They called us to let us know that our registration and licesne plate was in. We went down to pick it up and they tried again to sell us another truck. Again we had to say we cannot buy another truck we just bought one, we are picking up the registration that just came in. We cannot afford this again. They will look for anyway to keep your money, and to get as much out of you as possible. They break their promises and dont listen to you when you tell them what you can do comfortably. read more

Guys Open Your Eyes For This Dealership, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE.. 1-Liers all the way 2-They will do anything to rip you off, you need down payment, you are pre-qualified and you are not, they will sell you the car and then they start looking or applying for financing and if they can't find financing they will take the car away from you and you and maybe even pay for the time you had the car.. 3-Financing, they will hurt your credit so bad, they applied 18 times and ruined my credit i do not get approved anywhere for credit as they had so many credit applications ran every where.. 4-They don't check their cars before they sell, i was there one day and saw when their truck delivered some cars and saw exactly some of the same cars already listed for sale in their parking lot, come on tell me you did a full instpection overnight and put them for sale.. 5-Car started acting up two weeks after i bought it (bad Trans.) they will not fix it, excuses, excuses, etc. 6-Rip you off all the way.. 7-They are so unorganized my license permit expired and i did not get my plates i had to go pick them up, oh and 7-Do not believe all good reviews the Dealer post them on there, all the bad ones are from customers because their stories are exactly what i went through... read more

When a company says they stand by their customer, this place only says that to make a sell. 5000 miles after buying my Infinity the transmission cooler line blew on the freeway and I was stranded. Feeling confident that I purchased the extended warranty I had it towed to NAP to find out that the warranty doesn't cover the line. So now I have a 350 dollar repair only to find out if my trans is still good. Talking to the service manager he informed me that the transmission will not be covered either due to lack of oil. I understand it was a used car and I fixed a few things that were overlooked like loose fender panels and loose exhaust heat shields but this is crazy. They will do a great job to get you in a car because they know they will keep making money on it. I will never recommend NAP sales to anyone. It's too late for me but I hope this keeps someone else from making a big mistake. read more

Whenever you hear the horror stories of auto dealerships, this dealership is the perfect example-------of everything you want to avoid. They are the most unscupulous dealership I have ever encountered in my 56 years. And check our their "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau. They sold my wife a used VW Beetle, and after test driving it, she asked about the hard-shifting. They said it was was the turbo and was normal. As a result she bought the car, and days later had two local mechanics check it out and confirm the same----the transmission needed to be replaced. The dealership won't own up to the issue, even though they told her the hard-shifting was normal. They also advertise that every vehicle they get goes through a 110-point inspection, but after the sale, they told us it is not done on all the vehicles they get. These guys are a bunch of crooks. DO NOT trust them---buy your vehicle elsewhere. read more

Very dishonest company. I bought two vehicles from them at the same time a mini and a CRV. I specifically asked if either vehicle had any issues or if either one had been wrecked. They looked me in the eye and said no. Here is the break down litterally. A month down the road and days of arguing I got them to pay BMW to trouble shoot the issue. I had to have a timing chain, tensioner arm, and water pump replaced on this vehicle. It was covered under there 3 month 3000 mile warrenty but still cost me $500 out of pocket for the deductible. 2 months later the park brake stopped working on the CRV and it developed a small front shudder when hitting the brakes. According to them this was caused by driving with the park brake on. The park brake only engages on the rear so how does it warp front rotors? They refused to fix the issue and wanted to charge over $400 to fix it so I took it else where to find out that after 2 months and less then 500 miles from purchase it needed all 4 new rotors, all 4 sets of brakes, and new park brake shoes at a total of $600. They illegally certified the safety inspection. It gets even worse. Now 4 months after purchase on the same vehicle with brake issues I am getting a warning saying fault with airbag system. STUPID STUPID ME didn't get a car fax so I decided to pay for one. Low and behold it has been in 2 accidents has frame and severe body damage. Now I am looking at another $2000 to fix this issue so it can pass safety next year. They perform illegal safety inspections then leave you high and dry to repair and will blatantly look you in the eye and lie to you about vehicle history. I am reporting this to the DMV. I am meeting with the manager in two days and will update based off outcome. read more

Now as for the trade in option, lets just say no matter where you go it will never seem fair. At NAP it will likely seem even less fair than anywhere else. I would put NAP in the same category of another dealership who said the truck was driven by a little old lady who drove it to the grocery store and to church. (behind the seat where speaker cables, you know the nes for the big speakers that make the windows shake as you drive down main. That must have been a jamming deaf grandma. So PLEASE do your homework. Know what you plan to buy and what it is actually worth, and be prepared to walk out, especially if there if there is only ONE bank that might do the deal with you. If there are several offers to do the deal then it is probable ok. If there is only one form a bank, rethink what you are getting into. read more
