My car got hit back in May. I was originally waiting for a body shop near my house to take it in to however they said my Mercedes door had to come from Germany and blah blah blah. My boyfriend suggested I take it to his friend I was hesitant since the other shop had already ordered the door but after waiting two months and making sure my boyfriend confirmed with Armando that he had the door and it would be done faster but right I decided to make the switch. they told me it would be done in a week and I was out of my car a whole damn month. That's insane when I got my car back I went about my day however not even a week later they (random people at work) were able to tell what side of the vehicle was worked on. I was so embarrassed. There was bubbles and missing bolts to hold the middle part of the door together and honestly the job was just bad. Once they pointed everything out I immediately called my boyfriend and he took it back. We are almost going on two weeks and my car is still not back. What the fuck. Never using this place again. Time and efficiency is huge for me. I rather pay more and know my shit will be done right than pay less and get a crappy job due to it. So dissappointed and never listening to any other man as to where to take my vehicle. I should have been patient and just waited for the original shop that I was referred too. Update 11/1/21 I've taken my car to two shops after receiving it a second time and they both claim I have to start over and to demand a refund. Here are some pictures of the defects found after the second time they fixed it. The Mew body shop says there is a lot of defect and both have said it looks like a used door oppose you a new one. Hopefully my car gets fixed soon the right way and this place takes ownership. The handle even has a chip. Please please please do not bring your vehicle here unless you wanna get played. Update 11/9/21. They refuse to give full refund after two approved Mercedes shops claim they did sketchy work. They want to issue a check directly to the shop but neither shop want to take their money. They state I should be getting the refund not them. Charged my Insurance for two new doors and instead of replacing them did a horrible job fixing them along with other 5year old work. I Have reported them to Better business bureau, department of insurance for California and bureau of automotive repair. read more

I toke my Toyota Corolla to Armando. At National Color Auto Paint. I had few dents and scratches And Armando did a great job. I love the fact that when I come out of the place. I could not even recognize where was the damages. It's look new. The price I was a bit surprise. It wasn't what I expected. But wasn't bad either. It cost me 1200$. I recently parked my car in San Mateo and came back with a big dent and paint scratches on my nissan SUV. The damages was on my right rear bumper and and side panel. I was pretty furious at the time and I had no evidence of who did it. Luckily I found this shop and Armando did an incredible in fixing up my car. My car looks brand new and no evidence of previous scratch or dents was there. I recommend anyone who have similar body damages to come to this shop. Armando is the man. Competitive pricing, great paint, but most importantly, finished when he said he would. I bought a Prius with a passenger door that was really messed up by the previous owner. They did a rattle can paint job to cover up a dent. Horrible job. Shopped it around a few body shops and National came in the cheapest. I have been victim of "you get what you pay for" and was anticipating a mediocre job (it's a Prius, I just wanted it to look presentable, its not a show car, thus my price sensitive search). Let me start by saying I have never written a review. I have never thought it was worth my time but I just want to make others aware of my experience with this business as there are many many other options for auto paint shops in south San Francisco and I would not recommend this one. After reading the reviews, I thought I would give this shop my business to repaint the bumper on my Porsche Boxster. I dropped off the bumper on a Tuesday and they said it would be ready Thursday. Armando gave me me a call Thursday and said it was ready to pick up. I was unable to make it to the shops before close Thursday so I let them know I would come pick it up Friday morning. I went to the shop Friday morning and the bumper was not ready and the team was actually still working on it. Armando told me I could come back in an hour and it would be ready. I came back and it was still not ready. I then complained to Armando they were wasting my time causing me to drive back and forth from his business and my home about 20mins away. I left and he assured me I could come Saturday morning at 10am and everything would be perfect and good to go. When I arrived to the shop Saturday morning at the agreed upon time, there were three or four people around and they were telling me the bumper was not ready and I should call Armando. I called him and he said he forgot and told me to come back in one hour to pick it up. It is now 11:45 am Saturday as I am writing this review waiting for the bumper. This is not a way to do business. This shop does not properly communicate with customers, mixes up jobs. Update- got the bumper at 1pm. With respect to workmanship, see the photos. I am not happy. They damaged plastics around the bumper and there is a lot of overspray. Update- two days later- The paint is now many bubbles and cracks. Many spots look worse than when I brought the bumper in in the first place. If you value your time and want a job done when shop says it will be done I would good work, I recommend you take your business elsewhere. Update: May - still trying to get in touch with Armando to correct the work. Will update if I hear back. read more
