This was my first time using Berto's Detailing, and I understand why they have such strong ratings…read more I brought in our white car after it had been covered in dried, sticky berries from a tree. The residue was extremely difficult to remove, and the car had not been fully detailed in about two years. For a quoted price of $250, Berto's team removed all the hardened berry buildup from the roof and completed a full interior and exterior detail. The results were excellent and well worth the price. During my inspection, which Berto personally asked to observe to ensure I was satisfied, I noticed a section of white paint (approximately 2 x 3 cm) on the roof had been accidentally lifted during the berry removal, exposing the black layer underneath. It was clear they had tried to paint over it with white paint to make it less noticeable, but it was at risk for further peeling and a drop of the white paint had dripped onto the surrounding black trim. Berto immediately asked how he could make it right. He handled it professionally. He made the detailing complimentary, took the car to his auto body shop, matched the paint using the VIN, and fully repainted the affected top panel. The repair took two days and was generously scheduled around our work commute. He also offered to pay for a rental car, though we did not need one. Given the condition of the car and how long the berries had been left on, I recognize the job was unusually challenging. What stands out is that Berto took full responsibility and corrected the issue completely. I would return and recommend his team without hesitation.

Wanted to surprise my Pops and honor him by giving his other baby (Acura MDX) the VIP, actually it was the Stage 1 HD MVP package for interior and exterior! Pops car was like new when I got it and after a few months of use, I managed to scratch up and dent the back bumper and had an unfortunate battle with a parking garage pillar and scraped up the back passenger door real good. Anyway, I messaged Rick to set up an appointment, and he was quick to respond and answer all of my questions. They weren't available at my first date preference, but just a few days later. They book quick and usually take appointments at least a month in advance, so plan accordingly! These guys are really that good! Did I mention that they are a mobile service and come to you? Rates are reasonable for all service types and could offer a discount if you have multiple cars! Day before my appointment, I got a reminder from Rick. Yay! And the morning of, not only were they on time, they were early! Hustled to my mom's house since she has more space and an extra large driveway. Typically, it's either Ben or Rick doing the work and spend about 5-6 hours on the car. But because both of them were there, it only took about 3 hours. Since I was at work, Rick sent me updates with pictures and all. Even my mom's neighbor admired their work and told her that they did an amazing job! I nearly cried when I got to the car. It was shiny inside and outside. It was like it was brand spanking new! Even though Rick offered to do any touch ups on spots that were missed, I saw NONE! In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value.
