I discussed drop in refrigerants that were comparable with my system prior to adding refrigerant. He dropped in 407C which is not compatible with the mineral oil system I run and it destroyed the system knowing full well that 407C is not compatible with mineral oil system I had. They are a professional company that knows the compatibility of refrigerants and they intentionally added it knowing that it would kill my system in hopes to sell me a new system. This type of behavior is totally unacceptable and I fear that other innocent customers will be taken advantage of buy them. Please consider another company if you value your system. I selected 1 star because I had to select something to post this review. They don't deserve a star.

A friend of ours who knew about heating a/c systems, caught the issue and we got a refund from Comfort Flow for that visit. We are now in need of a whole new system and the current heating a/c company we are using (not Comfort Flow), has noted the original wiring was done incorrectly. Our system was set up to fail as Comfort Flow used wiring for a smaller system than what they gave us. Looks like they were hoping for more paid visits from us as customers. I hate to say it, but they do not have a good track record with us and now I see our original set-up was designed to have issues. Stay far away from this company.

In both cases we were very satisfied with their quotes. They completed the jobs quickly and even offered to come back later to add ducting on a room that needed to be finished. We wanted to add heat to the second floor, which had no ducts going it. Their estimator helped walk us through our options, including ways we could add the ducting while keeping it hidden. The communication of their customer service team is friendly and helpful, and they were good about reminding us of upcoming work. Both projects required an electrician, who they contracted with and took care of. Their follow-up has been excellent. And most important, the heating system works as designed. We are very happy and would recommend Marshall's to anybody.

Phone calls to make an appointment with the service department can go unanswered for hours. Leaving your phone number with a message to call back is futile. The only bright spot of this department has been the technician Jeff Allen who has been great. He is an asset to this company. I can no longer recommend this company.

Even though the part was fully covered under warranty, Alpine insisted we pay for the labor, $1,100 in refrigerant, and the $125 service fee. When I questioned the charges, they simply threw the warranty at me and pointed to the line saying refrigerant isn't covered -- as if that excused a failure that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Their original bill came to $1,750 for a problem that wasn't ours to begin with. Being charged for someone else's mistake just doesn't sit right with me. I asked multiple times for the service manager to call me so we could discuss the charges. He didn't call until two weeks after the repair was already completed. He claimed he had called several times, but after checking my call log, he had only called once -- and didn't leave a message. If you're looking for a company that stands behind their work and communicates honestly, you may want to look elsewhere.

Now the negatives-  1.I asked for their most experienced crew and I was promised this certain team (I even verified a few days before as well). They sent a different team.  2. They do not sanitize the brushes and wands that go into your ducts which means they are introducing into your ducts everything from previous jobs- which could be rodent droppings and urine, dust mites, mold, diseases from dead animals, etc. I had the foresight to know this and asked them to please sanitize the brushes and wands first. I hope they did. 3. After they finished, they could not get the system back up and running. They tried for an hour and then I called the supervisor and he walked them through it (an extra hour of my time and a lot of angst on a Friday afternoon with 95 degree forecast over the weekend). 4. After they left I noticed the grilles were not on right (turned the wrong way, old paint showing where not lined up right, and screws missing), the return register was tightened so much all four corners were bent, the plaster was cracked on many sides of the registers and the return, the screws to the furnace were not tightened, the door where the filter goes was not shut tight. They came back out to fix what they could (another 2 hours of my time), but thank goodness I checked and noticed. 5. And I am not sure my system was left in the same working order it was in, the air flow actually seems diminished instead of better.

In the morning I called Oregon Water Services as they have been very good in the past. All the water services companies were swamped with work (no pun intended) so they referred me to Rainbow Pump. Rainbow Pump was also very busy but being completely out of water helped to prioritize me a bit higher on their list. They came out to assess the situation and found more than one issue. There was no power to the well and a capacitor had blown. John showed me the capacitor from the pumphouse and yea, it was smoked. Beyond that, it was obvious by their testing at the well head that the submersible pump itself was blown. I wasn't really surprised by this as it was a Grundfos Pump over 30 years old. I requested they replace it with another Grundfos as I trust the brand for quality. John was able to save me over $1,000 by replacing the pump with one more suitable to my actual use, Thanks John!! Needless to say, Rainbow Pump got me back up and running. They made sure I understood everything they did and showed me the various components that failed as well as those that were about to. As a homeowner out in the country, you have no idea how valuable water is until there isn't any. Thank you Rainbow Pump!
