Last year and this year we decided to try another company to fix what we believed was a problem that was not rectified by their company due to what we felt was their faulty installation/system. Last year we paid over $1,500 for service and to fill the units with freon. We attempted to turn on the system as the weather became warm this year and again, it did not work. He's not the first person who had told me this, but he was the first one to walk me through why, and allay my skepticism. Anyway, once we agreed on this, he put fuel into my existing piece of crap to keep the house cool for my family while I was away, and called each day to confirm the House was still cool. Finally, he came back a couple of days later and spent two days installing a new top-shelf system that was actually the right size for my house. We were extremely happy across the board. Would definitely recommend. Especially after the crappy service I received from several other HVAC services in the area.

I was told the problem would be remedied with a blow torch and that by 10:30 am that morning the truck would be on the road. In mid afternoon, when no one came, I called again and was told the truck had been disabled by a clutch breakdown and that I would be supplied first thing in the morning, Sunday, the 16th. Well, Sunday came and went and NO ONE showed up. Sunday evening, a company representative called and said a delivery, marked as "urgent", would be made on Monday, the 17th. Of course, no one came, on Monday, the 17th, and no one called. Totally unprofessional business behavior. Totally undependable. Totally unreliable.

I showed him the leak. He dug it up and fixed it and charged me. Perfectly fine. And then they charged the $110 on top of that. They refuse to waive it. IF you're OK with this policy, then you will probably like them. IF like me, you think this is not customer friendly, then be aware and you may want to consider one of the many alternatives. I was a repeat customer for them with winterizations, spring start up, etc. Because of their policy, they lost my business. She also heard me say that the leak was in the same place where last year they replaced a valve component. I expressed on the call that I thought it would be a warranty repair. THAT is the only reason I agreed to have them come out. As it turns out it was not related to the valve and thus I was responsible for the repair. Which was fair and have no problem paying. And regardless of whether or not I was told up front, it is not a customer friendly policy. One that I would not have accepted if not for the possibility of warranty coverage. And one that i will not accept moving forward. And no, Donna R., I'm not calling the office to discuss. I don't need to hear you explain the policy again. It is what it is.
