Solid burgers in a very clean environment. I'm used to the greasy Nations in Oakland and Tracy so I was surprised how clean the Modesto location is. Good burgers, fries and an absolutely wonderful strawberry shake. Yes, prices have gone up but they have everywhere. Quality ingredients on the burger. Kylie, the lady who took our order, was friendly and kind. All of the condiments are set up on a counter which is kept spotless. As you can see, I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the place! Great job, Nations Modesto.

Is ice cold in this restaurant? I was the first of eight customers that came in. They move way too slow for a dinner rush it enterprise took me 30 minutes to get my food shift changed. People went on break in the middle of my order not being started. as you can see my picture. I have nothing but crumbs on the bacon And the end of the letter is which is unprofessional. My one side of bread is not cut today was not a good experience. I come here a lot.

Dried up soda stains and crumbs from the last customer.

I'm very surprised with the restaurant being so new. Came here with hubby on our way to go see a movie. Hubby wanted a burger and wanted to try Nations. Tables were dirty and they weren't even that busy. Seems like all they did was lifted the cups/plates off of the tables. I had to use a napkin to wipe off the table myself. Also, the floor under the table was full of crumbs. Not impressing me one bit. However, their burger is as expected, delicious. Their fries is how fries should be, tender in the middle and crunchy on the outside. And their onion rings are actual onion rings. You can taste the onions unlike alot of places where the onion is fried all the way through. I am looking forward to trying one of their pies. Price: $$ Quality: A+ Service: A Note: When cleaning the tables, don't do half ass work. Use wet rag to clean off stains off of tables.

Pumkin pie and chocolate pie were thick and grainy with fake sugar taste. The fries seemed to be cooker in old oil and the burger was a 2/10

Located in a somewhat industrial area bordering the countryside, it feels like a well-kept local secret--but judging by the crowd, the secret is definitely getting out. We arrived early and were told that the restaurant would become busy. Sure enough, within about 15 minutes, the entrance was jam-packed with people waiting for tables. We were also told that if we had waited until 11:00, we might never have gotten in! The Biscuit Basket serves breakfast and lunch only, and apparently plenty of people know to arrive early. The interior has a pleasant, country-simple décor that feels comfortable and welcoming. Even more impressive was the exceptionally friendly staff. Our server, Adrian, was personable and attentive. He checked on us several times, kept the coffee filled, and made sure the tea was taken care of. Another gentleman delivered our meals and also took time to talk with us. He asked whether we needed anything else and enthusiastically described our selections as some of their best dishes. He was not merely delivering plates--he was proud of what he was serving and continued selling the experience as he went along. The food was delicious. We had biscuits and gravy, I had an omelet, and we both had fresh fruit. Sharon particularly remarked on the quality of the fruit, and I noticed it as well. Restaurants sometimes serve fruit that is underripe or past its prime, but this appeared to have been selected carefully. Everything was fresh, properly ripe, and right on point. We also learned that the people behind the Biscuit Basket have connections to several other successful local restaurant businesses associated with Dan Costa. That experience certainly shows. From the food and service to the smallest details, everything was done exactly right. The Biscuit Basket easily earns five out of five stars--and deserves bonus credit for getting the entire experience right. It was wonderful to see a local business doing so well, and we will definitely return.

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.

They rolled with it without hesitation, which I always appreciate. My wife was meeting me a little later, and they timed everything beautifully. The food was on the table only about five minutes before she arrived, and with warm sandwiches and soup involved, the timing mattered. Everything was just the right temperature when we sat down to eat. We both ordered the Uptown Gal--roast beef, giardiniera, Dijon aioli, arugula, and white cheddar on house focaccia. The flavors were spot on, and these are substantial sandwiches. In fact, next time we could probably share one. We also shared the jalapeño Parmesan artichoke dip, which was excellent. We enjoyed some there and brought the rest home. The soups didn't have the same opportunity--we polished those off pretty quickly. Very flavorful. The iced tea was clearly freshly brewed and quite strong, which I actually prefer because I can adjust it to taste. It came in a generously sized glass as well. Lucille is a small place, but they've made very good use of the space. The interior is attractive and has a slightly modern, new-age feel. There was a steady stream of people dining in and picking up orders, and it wouldn't take many more customers to fill the place. I also noticed a nice wine selection and an espresso machine. One other thing stood out: the employees seemed genuinely happy to be there. Lots of smiles and a pleasant atmosphere throughout our visit. Excellent food, generous portions, good timing, and a staff willing to accommodate a customer who showed up a little ahead of schedule. An easy five stars from us.
