Sooooo glad they finally opened a new Nations in Modesto (on Palendale)! Very clean. The staff is super friendly and the food was fresh and tasted like Nations were used to eating. I wish I would have gotten the young ladies name that took our order, she was really sweet and friendly. Also, great onion rings. Unfortunately, the one on McHenry is horrible, the food doesn't taste good, not clean and the staff acts like they hate their job. Sorry, but that was our experience when we moved to Modesto 2 years ago. Thank you for opening this location. See you soon read more

Judging my review off their pie as that's what we came here for. We grabbed one of our favorites which was the lemon meringue but we have tried a lot of their pies and when strawberry seasonal pie comes.. boy oh boy! My favorite. The custard ones aren't bad either! When I went in there was only one who's cooking and doing the orders and checking out which was fine because there wasn't much people as they open for an hr or so. It's very clean at this location. It's conveniently located by the Tesla charging station as well if you want to grab some breakfast or burgers which is what they primarily serve. It's just like a quick old fashion burger joint with great pies! read more

Came to this Location which is in a shopping center. It can be difficult to find parking depending on what time you go. The restaurant itself is very small. Not that much room for customers to eat since they dont have many tables available. The hamburgers were good. I love how fresh the ingredients were. The onion rings also tasted good. The breakfast item was typical of what you'd expect from Dennys or ihop. We also tried the pie. Banana cream pie was amazing. Tasted really good. However twice they did not have the sugar free apple pie and we were told they hadn't had it for at least two weeks. If they dont have an item, it shouldn't be in the menu. Otherwise the staff was friendly. The prices were quite high. Probably wont be back again unless it's for the pie. read more

The food quality has gone WAY DOWN. They skimp on the mayonnaise and the veggies in the burgers. My fries were cold and we were the only ones there. I ordered extra lettuce and was given the limp part of the lettuce and told that's what you get. Then they offered to remake the burger but I declined as it was already smashed and my fries were getting cold. My burger was legit flat. The Nation's on McHenry doesn't do this to their customers. read more

I'm not usually one to leave reviews like this, but I have to say, if this place wants to stand up to In-N-Out Burger, which is just across the parking lot, they're going to need to find a way to keep prices down. I'm hoping they can make it work with chili dogs, breakfast, and pie. If not, they might not be around for long in this area. read more

This new location is so nice! The inside is very clean. The staff is very friendly too! We had some breakfast for dinner and chili cheese fries and the sliders! I called Nations 1 time before Christmas, Christmas eve, got up and came here by 9 because I was told Christmas day there pies are by one get one free. I am here and the assistant manager has told me yes they will be but one get 1 free when the owner calls us and lets us know. Am I supposed to keep coming back. I used to eat at Nations in Tracy Ca. 15 years ago when I worked in the area it was always good. I tried the new one in Modesto ca. today, it was terrible. Ordered the breakfast burrito as soon as I opened the wrapper I smelled something like old grease like very very old or very very used. The meat was so dry it was crunchy not burnt just dry like if it had been setting out for a while. After two bites I threw it in the garbage where it belonged. It took me two hours and two cough drops to get the taste out of my mouth. I also noticed three young men had disposed of most their food also. Never again! read more
