    Hawaiian bbq
    Eloy G.

Visited this place with my guest during lunch and so glad I did! While prices are a little on the higher side for the smaller plates they serve, the quality was on point and the flavor was great! The service was excellent and the flavor of the food was excellent. The chicken was so tender and the coconut shrimp made a little different than what I'm used to but overall really good. Will definitely be back again! The ambiance was great downtown small and intimate atmosphere. Very cool place to enjoy and have a nice quality meal.

Such a cute restaurant in El Dorado Hills and townCenter. I finally tried this restaurant that my friend has been recommending and I'm glad we tried it yesterday. I had the coconut prawns and my husband had the Hawaiian barbecue plate both were super delicious and tasty and they felt so fresh and clean to eat these meals. I definitely recommend this restaurant with the amazing service, delicious food, and wonderful views

1/22/26 We really wanted to like this cute restaurant that we bookmarked a few months ago! It's got a great menu full of fusion options. We stopped in at 11:30am on a Thursday thinking we're beating the lunch rush to try to maximize our lunch hour visit. Staff were so friendly which we appreciate. There was only one other table in front of us. It took awhile for our food to come out. We ordered the Hawaiian plate and the chef's ktown bibimbap. Our plates came out at 12:10 giving us only 20 mins to eat and head back to work. :( I was able to try my lunch date's Hawaiian plate had a yummy green sauce and my fave was the broccolini and the prawns. The meat was either salty or too sweet. I think the coconut rice flavor addition was too much for this plate with the various flavor profile combinations. He should have went plain rice IMO! As for my Bibimbap- there was way too much pickled options (house Kim chi and suno mono) in my chef's ktown bibimbap plate that I wasn't able to finish it. I really liked the mushrooms. I did ask for quinoa mixed with rice. An overall 3.5 rating from us for this visit. I had to rush out back to work so left my lunch date to cover the tab. I'd love to come back and try loco moco and their happy hour menu! Until next time.

Once again Yelp, and a local principal, came through with a great little restaurant! Very tropical feel, and the ladies there are super nice! Hawaiian flair food. The homemade spam was excellent, could use a bit more rice to go with it. I had pork belly tacos and they were good. My daughter had the poke' nachos, and they were good, but she wished they were on won ton chips instead of tortilla chips. All in all, we would go back for sure! Oh and they have cool drinks for happy hour!

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would! Service: amazing. Food: clean, perfect portions, great prices, and most important of all, tastes so good! High recommend getting any bowl with the coconut rice and the coconut-limeade with or without alcohol. Ambiance: great music, boho vibes, perfect for a nice lunch out. The greenery really tops it off and makes it more lively! 10/10 would come here again.

Obsessed with this almighty bistro. Great food, service, ambience, and pricing.! go during happy hour, trust, you will not be disappointed with the menu and pricing for the portion of food that you get.

The food was uhhhhmazing. The service as incredible. The vibe is super chill and inviting. My hubs is not a gluten free guy but he thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails, the appetizer (coconut prawns), the entrees (loco moco and Kona Melt on focaccia bread with the Mac Salad side ... were ALL incredible), and the complimentary birthday dessert was the icing on the cake!

Hard to believe that this was my first time eating here. Came with a friend for lunch and was so glad we did! The vibe is so beautiful, very hip, lots of beautiful plants and decor while remaining clean and inviting. I knew it was all gluten-free but hadn't realized the Hawaiian spin but I love it. It's all kinds of food I love to eat. I was tempted to try the Cloud Poke (and I will come back for that!) but once I saw the Chef's Island Salad that someone else had ordered I knew I had to get it too. It was incredible - lots of avocado, carrot, lettuce, perfectly dressed and an enormous portion of the huli-huli chicken, which was so tender and flavorful. I couldn't begin to eat all of it so I took some of it home. The prices aren't cheap but for the quality and the portion I thought they were completely fair. Our server was super friendly and helpful too and she added to the great atmosphere. The place is small so make a reservation but don't let that stop you from checking it out. I can't wait to come back.

    Loco Moco

Came in for an early dinner after a hike and swimming. Dining area was all but empty when we arrived, but features lush house plants and reggae vibes. At a prior visit we had this awesome server who told us the place has grow lights keeping it lush. Gives it a hipster vibe reminiscent of Portland pre-covid. The outdoor patio was more extensive than the two small tables featured out front of the store. It wraps around the side of the restaurant. I think we will sit outside next time. The Loco Moco is always a hit. It comes with a salty, heart brown gravy over a thick burger patty and meaty maitake mushrooms and rice. 10/10. The gravy with the mushrooms and the beef is a great combo. I think I'll try it with coconut rice next time. The POG and Maverick Margaritas also hit, and are upscale pretentious cocktails. The Maverick is some kind of classy clarified Margarita over a very large ice cube with salt rim. The POG is passion orange guava juice with lime and a tajin rim, not too sweet but flavorful. I tried the Miso Mahi Mahi with Coconut Rice today to switch it up. It comes over a bed of carrots and caramelized red onions. It was quite good. My favorite is still the Loco Moco. We tried the coconut prawns and they were not what we anticipated. They are not the traditional friend panko and coconut you'd expect. This is a coconut shrimp cocktail. No breading, just lukewarm limp shrimp with a coconut cream based sauce poured over and some type of slaw. I prefer the traditional serving, but I applaud the creativity. Stick with the signature cocktails and Loco Moco and try the patio.

I've had this place on my list of places to try in the area, and I am really glad I did! It was really easy to make a reservation. The ambiance inside is delightful- clean, open, bright, tastefully decorated. We ordered cold brew coffee with coconut cream which was delicious. We also had the Poke Nachos which were phenomenal! Crispy tortilla chips, incredible fresh poke, avocado, cucumber, mango, and the sauces complimented the toppings really well. The ratio of chips to sauce to toppings was perfect, which is surprising difficult to find! Overall I will definitely be back here and can't wait to try one of their delicious looking cocktails!

Visited Almighty this week and it was amazing! Had one of my favorite dishes, Mahi Mahi, along with a Mai Thi and it as spectacular. The staff was fantastic and guided us through a few things in the menu. There were plenty of people there but the service as spot on and fast. Check it out!

Had a great lunch here, Ono chicken 8/10 Beef Kali Ba 9.5/10 Super excited to try out more on their menu! Food is really high quality, but you do pay a bit of a premium for it. $50.41 for just the two meals before tip. Ono chicken could have used a sauce in my opinion, however it was very tender and flavorful

We thought to drop in on Saturday night to try more Hawaiian fusion favorites! Locomoco is a favorite, asked for extra gravy which was so much more enjoyable! Mac salad was seasoned well and had a nice texture! Chicken teriyaki was so tender and easily shredding with each bite, great flavor! All dishes were so delish! This place never disappoints! Service is always on point with friendliness and efficiency! I also enjoy the interior decor: light fixtures and many varieties of plants! Super cozy and also serves creative cocktails, wine or canned beer! Yum!!

What kind of gluten-free flour is used? I'm allergic to nuts and tree nuts so I need to know what bread dishes to avoid.

Do you need a reservation or do they accept walk-ins?

Walk ins only and first come first serve. Reservations are for 4 ppl from 5:30-7:30 and 6 ppl from 7:30-8. The restaurants is smaller and that's why reservations don't work.

But how could I know that experience (and the service!! OMG the service!!!) was going to be so outstanding, that I would come back again the next evening to eat again?? The first night it was happy hour, with a spicy jalapeño mule, buffalo cauliflower, smoked Brussel sprouts, and a couple of beers. But the service was so attentive (almost too attentive) that we felt like we had to watch for gaps so we could take a bite or a sip in between folks checking in to see if we needed more food, more refills, or just a friendly hello! The next night was burgers, and brews, and bloody Marys - and again, the most amazing thoughtful, interactive and attentive service I have ever seen! And being a business owner, I can tell you that it's not enough to have a beautiful setting on the river with great views and a decent menu. Having servers, managers, bartenders (hell even the bussers had smiles and were polite and friendly) absolutely seals the deal. I really have no reason to go back to to El Dorado Hills in the near future other than work, but because of this single restaurant experience, I can tell you I am trying to find more reasons to return!

The hamburger is always a favorite of mine. Big juicy burger patty. The brioche bun is toasted. Fresh fixings. Pricing isn't outrageous. The banana coconut pudding parfait is another go to for me. It's vegan and dairy free and all so delicious! On my last visit, I ordered the red wine braised short rib. It was reheated as all their hot entrees are pre-made. It was not as tender as I anticipated it to be. But it did have a nice flavor. The interior has a modern farmhouse look with a family friendly vibe. The wall to wall windows bring in a lot of light and relaxing views of the town center. The dining room has a lot of seating. There is also an outdoor patio. Since this is not sit down service, there isn't any pressure to rush your dining experience. The salad prices were around $17 with protein sources like chicken an extra $4-8 depending. I opted not to get a protein because I figured at $17 the salad would be a decent size and I really wasn't trying to spend more than $25 on a salad w/tip and tax to be accounted for later on. I ordered the green goddess which said it has broccoli, cucumber, avocado, and gg dressing. I have to say for the price it didn't feel like a good value (hence the 4 stars). It definitely needed the protein option to make it seem more substantial but then at $20+ the value still wouldn't be there. The service, the vibe, the beer was all great so maybe just don't order a salad.

I did not read the salad area menu to know that bacon came on it. I don't eat pork and had asked for my flatbread to not have bacon and the salad to not have crutons if they put those on; wish the wait staff had mentioned the bacon on the salad bc I had already asked to have the flatbread without and also bc it's unusual imo to have it standard on a ceasar.
