This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Eldo County. It's always clean and fresh. The waitress is nice every time. They are attentive.

    11. Beef Chow Fun (gluten free), 6. Mongolian Beef (gluten free)

The woman working here was so kind and made us the most incredible food! I haven't been to a Chinese restaurant in years, but the gluten free menu was almost the whole menu!! I ordered beef chow fun (healed my soul), mongolian beef (I will order this on every visit it was incredible), and orange chicken (not fried, just chicken and veg in amazing sauce and this was actually my non-celiac friend's favorite dish!). The food was amazing, prepared fresh and piping hot and celiac safe (nothing fried, gluten free soy sauce) as far as I know, and I didn't feel any symptoms after eating there!

This place is probably more take out than eat in and I get it. Kinda dated, off the beaten path and a bit weird. BUT~ the food is 10 of 10 and prices are affordable. Healthy clean options without all the fat. Service is a bit too fast but I guess all the 1 hour lunch workers want efficiency and quality in lunch. Try it~ you will probably come back.

WHEN: Fri @Noon PARKING: It's in an outdoor shopping center so there's plenty of free parking in the lot. Wanted to take our grandmother out for lunch, so we came here and saw there was a lot of wonderful selections and lunch specials to choose from! They also have a daily special menu you'll see right as you walk in. Here's what we ordered: CHICKEN CHOW FUN - $14.95 With white onion, green onion and bean sprout. This was really good! I prefer the noodles to not stick together but at least it was soft, and quite greasy (not a complaint). It's a huge portion and great to share. THAI BASIL EGGPLANT - $14.95 Oh this shareable and saucy dish was good, especially if you're an eggplant fan. Great with rice. WONTON IN CHILI OIL - $7.95 This was okay, and they were kind to have the chili oil on the side. I counted 10 pieces! CUSTARD BUNS (4) - $5.95 This was just okay too. Nothing oozing our or anything. The lunch specials seem like a great deal! It's either $11 or $12 for everything below, and it's available Mon-Friday 11:30-2:30pm. Each options come with: + Soup or Wonton Soup + 1 Fried Wonton w/Cream Cheese filling + Steamed Rice or Fried Rice The lunch we chose was ORANGE CHICKEN, which tasted like there was a separation between the fried dough and the white dry chicken. So that sweet sticky sauce helped some, but overall it was just okay. WONTON SOUP - This little portion comes with 2 pieces of wonton, a piece of bok choy, and a carrot slice. It was a nice side. FRIED WONTON - It was a piece of fried dough with cream cheese filling--a fun and savory snack! STEAMED RICE - This generous portion was fine, not the best in the world but it does its job being steamed rice. We enjoyed ourselves here, and the booth style seating made it quite comfortable! Service was great too!

Delicious!!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good place to eat. We ordered the "family dinner" with chicken chow mien and orange chicken. The dinner comes with pork fried rice (we were able to substitute it for chicken), wonton soup, cheese wontons, AND egg rolls! This was all for $18/person versus paying $14 a plate. The service was wonderful, she was very polite and patient. The restaurant itself was very cute and clean. 10/10 recommend!!

    Cool pic!

We tried this place for the first time after several great Yelp reviews. I'm sorry to say but this is not a five Yelp star place and i will explain why. 1. Quantity over quality: although portions are generous the quality is somewhat lacking. Veggies are fresh and cooked al dante perfect, meats are not high quality and that should be the main event of the dish. Both chicken and beef dishes were lacking in texture and overall prime cuts of beef. Beef was rubbery and fatty. 2. Spicy chicken Thai basil and beef and vegetables sauces were flavorful yet a bit too salty in my opinion. The chicken chow mein was so so. Overall, so so Chinese food place.

Worst Chinese food. Mongolian chicken had absolutely no heat, few spices, basically tasteless. Nothing we had was good. I was quite shocked.

It's bad. Compared to any Chinese food I've ever had. And the price isn't all that great. Better off with panda express

This is one of my my favorite Asian restaurants in EDH. It appears to be a Family owned operation and their food is always good.

Hometown Dumpling in Folsom, CA, serves up some authentic homemade dumpling... they gots boiled,…read more steamed , and pan fried in a variety of fillings. The menu also has wonton soup, noodles, soup dumplings, fried spring rolls, crab rangoons, cucumber salad (Asian style), Chinese egg custards, bbq pork buns, sesame red bean paste fried balls,, stir fry veggies, taro steamed buns, and some other items. I've tried the dumplings boiled, steamed, and pan fried. The boiled ones are slippery and best when I'm in the mood to have them swirled in a sauce like hot chili oil. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings. But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes! The place is clean, comfortable, and has basic furnishings and decor. There is no music or TV. The owner works most of the shifts. It truly is a small family business that welcomes your family.

The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. There were so many dumplings in the order that I couldn't finish them, and I took them, cold, to my teenager, and she thought they were fantastic. Further, they let me stay in their restaurant and finish a work project. I took up a seat and they were nothing but accommodating to me. I really appreciate all the hospitality that they showed me while I was there working.
