This place deserves better reviews than it's receiving! Is this the best Indian food I've ever had? Not at all. But is it pretty dang good? YES it is! As an example, if someone brought me Natraj's Tandoori takeout, I would be ECSTATIC for the day. I honestly think practically all of their dishes are extremely flavorful and tasty. Highlights include: * Garlic Naan (all naan's are delicious) * Samosa (love that dark brown-ish chutney sauce!) * Chicken Tikka I'm always left feeling full and satisfied whenever I eat Natraj's Tandoori. Had a craving for the cuisine of India today, and stopped into Natraj's Tandoori - I was not disappointed! The restaurant was very clean with Indian art posted on the walls. The service was quick and friendly. They have excellent lunch combo options for those who want a satisfying meal on a budget. I ordered the saag paneer which is a blend of spinach and spices with cheese curds, chicken tikka masala - a classic, and opted to upgrade my bread to the delicious onion kulcha, yum! I ordered a side of samosa - a delightful pastry of potato, peas, and spices with green chutney for dipping - this is a favorite. To satisfy my love of sweet desserts I also ordered a side of gulab jamun - sweet dough in rose syrup - wonderful! Ordered through Uber Eats and got a two item combo (palak paneer and chicken tikka masala with rice and roti), two orders of chicken tandoori, two orders of samosas and rice. The order took a little longer than anticipated but that was because they were fresh making the chicken tandoori, which was very tasty albeit a little more saucy than I'm used to. The samosas were excellent... freshly fried and crisp on the outside. The accompanying sauces were also great. I also really enjoyed the palak oaneer and chicken tikka masala. I opted for roti instead of naan but it was not what I was expecting... it was a baked flat round bread where I was expecting a fried flakey flat bread). For many years this has been my favorite Indian food location. They somehow managed to bring a perfect balance in "ready to eat", quality and prices. Unfortunately COVID seems to have affected their standards and it's begining to go down hill. Food was barely warm and rice was stale. Nan was made fresh and still tasty though. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The area was quiet and I was craving Indian Food, so we decided to try this out. What a great and delicious surprise!! We ordered: Chicken Tikka Masala Aloo Gobi Garlic Naan Some places make their tikka masala too sweet so I was pleased that this was not. We asked for "medium" spice and we were not disappointed. It was perfectly spiced, similar to medium jalapeños, which we enjoy. Order less spicy if needed. The Aloo Gobi had great seasoning. I have had this in more of a curry sauce in the past, but this was not like that but I may have enjoyed this even more. It had good flavors, a little texture, and of course similar "medium" spice level for us. Rice was soft and delicious. We were surprised with the garlic Naan. Not only was it delicious, but plenty good size to share. It was fresh, crispy, warm, and a perfect compliment to our dishes. I decided to try the mango lassi for the first time. Lassi is a yogurt based drink popular in parts of India. I have never tried it, but it looked fresh and I wanted to try something new. Oh yeah!! That was good. Great mango taste, slight yogurt flavor, and a perfect cooling to the spicy Indian Dishes. I will be getting this more often. Overall, I would totally recommend and will be back again. She splashed the chicken curry all over the edges of the food container causing it to get all over the plastic bag. Then she stormed off into the back after rolling her eyes at me. The aloo gobi was a bit dry. The samosas are kept in a warmer and not freshly made. The dough of the samosas was a bit chewy and they were only half filled. The garlic naan was made fresh. This place is pretty much an Indian Panda Express! Right when you walk in there's ready to serve food for you waiting behind glass just like Panda Express or other Chinese fast food spots. However, they also have a menu for made-to-order food in the back. In this trip, I was able to try their chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, spinach paneer, tikka masala, and their mango lassi! Their chicken here was soft and cooked perfectly! I did like the chicken Tikka masala better than the chicken curry, but the chicken curry was still pretty good! This meal came with garlic naan and the tikka masala sauce paired very well with it. The saag paneer was a creamy spinach type dish that was very soft and flavorful! If you had it alone, it might be actually so soft you could swallow it just like that. Picking some up and eating it with the naan was also very good! The mango lassi I had here was exactly what I had been looking for. It checked all my boxes for a strong mango flavor, thick creamy texture, and perfect sweetness. I had a great experience here from the customer service to the nice space and the taste of the food. I needed to take a work meeting and I wanted to eat lunch so I sat at the corner table closest to the exit, plugged my computer in and enjoyed my food. Just got food from this location. Ordered food at around 8:35pm and sat down inside to eat. One of the employees came up to us at 8:42 after we had started eating and said that we need to leave in five minutes because he needs to clean the dining room (wasn't really nice about it either). Hours on the door and here on Yelp clearly state that the restaurant closes at 10pm. We mentioned that they don't close for a while and he said he still needed to clean and told us to leave again. We left to go eat right outside on the patio and watched the employees sitting in the dining room and eating on their breaks until after 9pm (nobody had cleaned the dining room yet). Did not appreciate getting kicked out when they said they were going to clean but actually didn't. If it had been a much colder night, it would have been very uncomfortable to eat on the patio. We've been coming here for years and the food was really good but I'm disappointed by the service, it seems to have gone downhill. read more
