Even bugs want to come inside when it gets cold but sorry there is no room in the inn. I always like to use local businesses, Yelpers mentioned this co in Talk but no reviews. I was able to set up an apt for the next day, the tech showed up on time and even rescued a lost dog in my neighborhood. He explained in detail all the solutions they used and how they worked to kill and keep out the pests, including detailed brochures of the solutions from the manufacture. There was NO odor at all and he treated the entire house, outside, garage, attic for $135 for a 2000sf home. Very friendly, professional and excellent customer service. No high pressure sales for a yearly contract but they do offer this service as well. read more

I've been using NPS for almost 5 years. They started out great. Awesome customer service and the products themselvesis really work. Something has happened in the last 12 months. I've had several No Show appointments with no calls, etc. Dispatch doesn't seem at all "perturbed" by any of these; instead giving excuses. So far our experience with Natran Green Pest Control has been great! They are so friendly and helpful and as others have mentioned the customer service is top notch. I came home today after getting our initial spray and the only thing I could smell was a slight vanilla cinnamon smell which was not a bad smell at all. I have a lot of chemical allergies which is why I decided to try this service and Im so happy I did. I'm also looking forward to safely spraying our yard for our terrible Houston mosquitoes this summer! We have used Natran for many years and for the past few years Casey has been our service technician. He is fantastic and I highly recommend Natran because of his service specifically. He is responsive, capable and takes the extra step to make sure our system is running effectively. We had an issue with a leak in our mosquito system recently and he returned several times to adjust and readjust the system until it was completely taken care of - all with a friendly disposition. I have used Natran in the past, and contacted them again for my mom and grandma's house. They had a major bee problem. My mom had been stung several times, her dog had a trip to the er vet, and they were so bad that my grandma could hear them through the walls at night. Zach and Nick with Natran came out and removed all the bees and hives. My mom has nothing but praise for these two gentlemen, and this company. They removed all the bees and the massive hives! We found Natran Green on Angie's list. The service uses all natural pesticides that are not harmful to pets or human occupants. Nick came out and treated for a wasp infestation on the porch, for roaches in the house, and mosquitos in the yard. The attic was also fogged and powder spray injected into wasp infested sections of porch. He was very thorough and we had a great conversation about pest control. I called them for a follow up visit because the wasps came back in a different place on the front porch. The follow up visit was free of charge. Concealments were necessary at both visits because we had to seal out the wasps. The concealment is barely noticeable. I highly recommend Natran Green Pest Control. Nick is a great guy. Ask for him. Company can not keep appointments. Wasted almost an entire Saturday waiting for them to come fix something they didn't do right the first time with mouse traps. They stated I did not give them correct phone number and it was correct in their files. Also they had to call me back on 3 occasions to get my credit card number that I had given them already and they read it back to me each time. They are very unorganized and would not recommend to anyone. read more

We've been using them for a couple years now and have never had the same guy came out twice, but each one we've had has been friendly, courteous and helpful. Most recent job (get it done about every 6 months) my wife told me in Rosenberg at 8 that they were arriving at 8......thanks honey. Anyways the guy said no problem he would go do another job first and come back. By the time he got to my place I was still about 15 minutes late - but he still was there and completely friendly. We had a mosquito system installed around our yard by Nature's Pest Solutions in February 2012 and have used their quarterly servicing since. The install went well and we have not had problems since. Additionally, their techs are friendly and always call in advance to let us know they will be in the yard servicing our system. They drive well marked cars. I recently had a concern over the specific chemical they were loading in my system. Within 20 minutes of calling with my concern, I was able to talk to Chris, who is running the company, and we were able to work out a good solution to my concern that actually lets us use Navitpro, a safer chemical in the misting system. I don't expect perfection from anyone. What I appreciate about dealing with Nature's Pest is that they are easily accessible and genuinely interested in addressing any concerns I may have. This company is completely incompetent and unprofessional. I had major scheduling issues with them twice in one week and will not be using them for pest service. This morning was the icing on the cake - Natran was supposed to be at my house at 8am for first pest service of the day. I took off time from work to stay home and meet the tech. At 8:50am, I finally called Natran to ask where the tech was, and they said "oh sorry we had an emergency meeting this morning and everyone is just leaving now for service" (Note: this was the same excuse earlier this week when they didn't show up either). I was very annoyed that they didn't bother to call me to let me know of this delay (i.e., I had to call them and ask). The scheduling assistants then couldn't figure out if I was supposed to be the first or second stop of the day, whether the tech was actually on his way to my home or not, and whether my appointment was at 8am or from 8am-noon. How ridiculous! I finally left for work and called to say thanks but no thanks. I will be using another service provider with more competent staff. read more

Being new to Houston, we were disgusted by the big bugs and overwhelmed by the number of choices to deal with the pests. Our neighbor recommended Natran. There are probably more effective sprays but I want to minimize our exposure to toxins as much as possible. When I do see a cockroach inside the house ... it's already DEAD :) Pros: + I always get a courtesy call the day before service. + The day of service, Charles M also calls when he's in the area. + Outside, the odor is not noticeable. Inside, the odor is surprisingly pleasant and dissipates quickly. + Charles M even took the time to water my plants outside when I wasn't home during a heatwave! Cons: - Not able to schedule service; they show up on their schedule. - Inside, is effective for only month (versus the un-green sprays which last 3 months). read more

I definitely recommend Natran to my friends and family. We had our first treatment, then two weeks later we had an issue with ants inside the house. Natran sent someone out free of charge within two days (we called on Thursday and a guy came out on Saturday). We looked all around the house to find where the ants were getting in and couldn't figure it out. Then Zach from Natran came over and was able to find the trail and treat the problem. We haven't had ants since. Highly recommend Zach, he knows where to find the insects and how to get rid of the them. I like that it doesn't smell like chemicals, it smells very herbal. I also have two dogs, one of which has bad skin allergies but the Natran pest control treatments don't have any affect on the dogs- which is great! read more

I *used* to like Nature's Pest a lot. The two previous homes that I resided in, they were great. Great customer service. Always punctual. Critters in the house was a distant memory. Years went by and when we moved to a new house, clearly Nature's Pest Solutions was our only choice. Somehow, within a matter of years, the company's customer service tanked. I mean really tanked. They came out to do an estimate, we signed an agreement with them, they did their thing and left. a month later. the critters were still around. We called. the girl on the phone was far from courteous, and sounded irritated at the fact that she had 3 calls holding. (Yea, not my fault lady - Here's a tip Mr.-Pest-Solutions-company-owner: Perhaps you should invest in hiring more staff, or have the lady that answers the phone go do some training. If she doesn't like her job and prefers to be short and rude to the customers, perhaps she should think about working for the City.) They finally came back, resprayed and it got a little better. Then....silence. months went by and nothing from N.P.S. We had an agreement that they would come spray every 2 months. It had been 4 with no contact from them. In the past, we never had to call and schedule them to come, they would contact us and set up a day & time to come out. When we realized so much time had gone by, we called and again, the lady was not nice. Her reasoning behind the non-communication was that they were very busy and they had us in a pile "that wasn't ready for pest control". Needless to say, we're not using them again. It's a shame because we have pets in the house and I always liked the fact that they used pet-friendly products. read more

I chose Nature's Pest Solutions because they came highly recommended, are locally owned and operated and, most importantly, use products that are safe for my 2 year-old and cat. They came out for an initial consultation and quote and we went over my pest concerns in great detail right down to where to place bait based, etc. This information was not communicated back to anyone, as the boy who came out to treat our property was utterly clueless as to why he was there. He even had to leave and go get some supplies that he did not come equipped with to do the job while we waited around forever for him to return. We had to have them back a number of times because their treatment was not very effective. We called them back out for another visit yesterday. They were supposed to show up between 4 and 6. First they called and said that they were running behind and it would be closer to 5 which was perfectly fine. About 5:50, they called again and said that they still had one other job to complete about 10 miles away and could they come over after that. They said that it would take 30-45 minutes to complete this job across town and get to our house. Since I knew that this was not humanly possible, I told them to just forget it, as we would be eating dinner and winding a toddler down. Long story short, their customer service sucks, there always seems to be a breakdown in communication and they can't keep a time commitment. They called me today to reschedule the appointment and I told them that we would no longer be using their services. The guy on the phone asked if it was because they were unable to come within the window the day before and I said that we were already disappointed and that that was the last straw. His response: "Okay, thanks." If you're looking for green pest solutions, they are not the only ones in town, so I would recommend trying another one. read more

Used a groupon offer to try out their services for indoor and outdoor pest services for our home as we are new to Houston and wanted something safe for our pets. Made an appointment and one of their guys shows up which I forget his name but basically asked what was the problem. Otherwise, didn't really inspect around the place or inform/educate of what was recommended or what needed to be done. He just started spraying here and there and was out of our home in 15 minutes since the time had arrived. And yet supposedly they charge $165 for this service? They got to be kiddin me. Horrible service. By the way, we still saw little crawlies like ants and such roaming around after. Recommend to take your business elsewhere. Plenty of other companies around I'm sure would provide way better service and product. read more

We've been using Natran/Nature's Pest Solutions since 2013 and decided today to discontinue our "Ecozone Pest Protection Plan". We have a toddler and another along the way, so we really wanted this to work out, given Natran's emphasis on child-friendly pesticides, but in the end the mistreatment of our schedule was too much to overlook. We wanted our next Ecozone session to have the inside of our house treated before our baby came, so we arranged it with the service reps to have it done on a Friday from 4-6 so I could be home when the service tech arrived. Instead, we found a note on our door around 1:30 saying the technician had already arrived and (we assume) sprayed just around the outside of the house, since no one was home to let him in. I called the customer service folks, and they said they would try to have someone swing back around that afternoon. We never got a phone call confirming a time or if a technician was even showing up. We waited around until 6:30, and then I called and left a message with the office to call me back, which they did the next Monday. They apologized (but did not offer an explanation) and set up another appointment for a technician to arrive this past Friday from 5-7 to apply the treatment inside the house. Which would have been great, except... no one showed up. I waited until 7:15, and then called the office and left another message to call me back and explain what happened. I finally got a call today (Wednesday, 5 days after I left a message to call me) - from a technician (not a customer service rep) this morning telling me he was on his way to my house. I told him there was no reason to, since no one was home, and had to explain that we were expecting someone last Friday, not on a Wednesday morning, and especially not with 10 mins notice. And now, I just received a call from their office "reminding" me that they have me for an appointment tomorrow - none of this makes sense. One thing I don't think they understand is that I had to move a lot of furniture and items around so they could apply their pesticide to our baseboards, etc. This isn't easy to do with a pregnant wife and a toddler running around. Not to mention that we clear our own schedules to be home in the time windows they gave us. This is becoming a comedy of errors - based on the last few weeks, I can only recommend NOT using Natran/Nature's Pest Solutions. I'm glad I got an email from them this morning asking me to rate them here. read more

I recently had an issue in 1 small wall in my bedroom with termites. My builder didn't believe in treating the foundation during construction. He said I had little to no risk, but I live in the Heights with a lot of older homes surrounding mine. Casey Bowman came to treat the wall to start the process. It was raining (for weeks) so we had to wait to treat the exterior but he kept checking with me to see if everything was ok. After numerous attempts to treat with the rain, he came out and treated the problem area when the rain started to slow down. He then came back again and treated the whole house so that I have protection moving forward. They did an excellent job. I also have Air BNB units so some of the guest have created ant issues. They set traps wait two weeks then treat the house, they are gone. I like their service but Casey did an outstanding job and went the extra mile. read more

I was really excited when I found this place on here. I just moved into a house and needed to have it sprayed BAD. We had roaches and spiders, both do not mix with a 2 year old! I called Natran and set up an appointment the following week (which was their earliest time). I had taken the day off of work to be at home for the appointment and I got a call 5 minutes prior to my scheduled block of time and was informed they were running late due to car issues. The technician was nice and encouraged me he would make it out today. Come 3 hours later i get another call, he has a couple of houses that he needs to do that day and will be over if I still wanted him to come over. I told him of course, I didnt mind the time because I needed the issue fixed. Three hours later I get another call informing me that it was late, he needed to go pick up a different car and needed to reschedule me for the following week. This was frustrating but I understood the situation. I told the technician the only day I could do it the following week and again adjusted my schedule at work so I could leave early to be home for the visit. He assured me he would get it taken care of and appreciated me understanding the situation and his want to be off to enjoy the holiday weekend. Got a call yesterday informing me of the appointment window that was not what i requested 11-1, that is in the middle of my work day! I had given them a call back and of course it went straight to a voicemail system and I left a message informing them that I was not going to be home and I needed the technician out at the time we had agreed upon. I get a call today from the technician who was planning on being at my house from 11-1...again, no one was home and never planned on being home for this. I informed him I was not going to be home and he needed to be back at the agreed upon time because this issue needed to be handled asap. The next thing I know i get a call from the coordinator who told me she does not have any record of my needing a later appointment, and will not be able to get anyone out to my location at that time until later the following week. I informed her I needed it today or I was taking my business elsewhere and she said may I quote, "Ok, have a nice day". Not even an attempt to keep my business when I have been working around THEIR schedule. This may have good reviews and others may have had better experiences, but this is not a company I will use or attempt to use in the future. Unfortunately this is a problem you run into a lot with companies... I am hopefuly I can find someone else asap and have a better experience. read more

I began having my yard sprayed for mosquitoes in April 2014 based on a recommendation from a friend about how they used them and were able to go outside and enjoy their backyard! I can say that this company has a decent product but by far the WORST scheduling/customer service I have EVER encountered. I actually have never gotten on to write a review of anything but felt my experience has been so awful, it was warranted. In April 2014, I tried to get my first service performed and ha several appointments which were no-shows by the technicians. Finally my first month was provided free of charge and someone finally showed up. I was put on a set monthly service and struggled with getting people out each month (I had to call and schedule and check and double check and reschedule). --Then in July, they were supposed to come out July 2nd but didnt show up due to rain. I wasn't rescheduled or notified, I called and told them I never received service so we rescheduled for the next available date which was Saturday July 12th. --On that day, no one showed up and when I called in the girl in the office looked and noticed I had been scheduled with a guy that no longer worked at the company. She mentioned they were going through some changes and had to fire several of the technicians due to not showing up or not spraying even though they said they had. We rescheduled for the next date someone would be in my area (Cypress) which was Tuesday July 15th. from 10-12. --Tuesday rolls around, and no show. I call in and they say that my appt is on Thursday from 8-10 and I must have gotten the days mixed up. I know I didn't because I told them before I couldn't do an appt at that time because I drop my daughter at daycare and wanted to be home to make sure they actually showed up and did it. But, since it is Houston in the middle of July and we have had an unusual rainy season, I still need them to come spray before the mosquitoes take over so I agree to Thursday but ask them to change the appt to 10-12 which they do. --Then on that Thursday, the guy shows up and tells me he can't spray because it is about to rain and if he sprays it won't be as effective. Fine, so I call the office and reschedule for the next available date which is Tuesday July 22nd from 11-1. --Again, a no show and this time when I call the office they tell me I am not even ON the schedule. So apparently in addition to mixing up dates I am now officially hallucinating appointments. At this point I am pretty upset and while no real explanation is offered Melissa does offer me complimentary service for this month due to the inconvenience. I am supposed to have someone come over from 4-6 today. We will see if he actually shows up. Overall, the mosquito spraying is ok. We still have some, but I guess that is to be expected, it is definitely less than when we don't spray....assuming you can get a technician out to actually spray your yard. If you want a intermittent service for complimentary and don't mind the inconvenience of having to call on every scheduled appointment day to reschedule your appointment and actually getting service infrequently, then they are the company for you. ,. read more

I called this company out to do an evaluation on our yard last year and to recommend a mosquito control regimen, and a young guy came out to check it out, but the company NEVER followed up to send me their official estimate or recommendations. I thought this was unusual, but then my several phone messages to follow up and find out what to do next were NEVER returned. Made me feel like they were very unreliable and unprofessional. I would have loved to give them our business because I like the idea of using green products and supporting local businesses. read more

DO NOT use this company for your pest control. Poor management, ineffective communication and account service fraud. I had an initial treatment scheduled, and the technician showed up asking me what he was supposed to do. I was charged for it. After acknowledging the technician was incompetent and my treatment was not done correctly, the manager assured me that he would send someone out to do it correctly, at no charge. While someone did come out and spray correctly, I WAS charged over $300 for this second treatment to render services that were not done upon the initial treatment. After being promised a refund, etc. I had to take this up with my credit card company because Natran is incompetent and unable to resolve the issue they created. Terrible company, terrible service, and I would not recommend using them, even as a last resort. read more

Can I start by saying how much I love Natran? Jason came out to my house prior to the treatment and walked the property with me. He explained what areas they would be treating, what NON chemical solutions they would be using, and what to expect post treatment. I also work for a chemical free company, Norwex, so being chemical free was very important to me!! My original appointment was scheduled for a rainy day and they insisted that I reschedule to ensure the treatment would be effective. In my opinion, you don't find many companies willing to be that honest. I really appreciated that about Natran! Fast forward to the day of my appointment- Jeremy came out for the treatment. I asked him many questions that he was prepared to answer. I loved it! He sprayed the inside of the house and proceeded to move outside. He treated the outside quickly and as a bonus he knocked down spider webs and any nests that were attached to the house! How awesome is that!? The whole treatment was less than 30 minutes and was done on my lunch hour, which I greatly appreciated! Thanks Natran, you've earned a customer for life! read more
