I am convinced that Natural Blend is the friendliest place in Brooklyn. I've been to 3 of the 4 locations and each time has always been a positive experience. They really live their ethos of "crafting authentic food infused with love, goodness, and nothing else at this place." This is for the Prospect Heights location because it's the one I regularly go to. I love their patties, especially the callaloo; the lentils and the peas are a close second. Their lunch and dinner plates are tasty; I've tried the pepper steak and the jerk chicken. The medium size is a good portion and will more than feed you. Also don't miss out on their bread and pastries. There's much more to explore here--the smoothies, the stews, the curry chik'n, for my Caribbean cravings. My only complaint is that Natural Blend uses plastic bags and utensils. Just make sure to request without and bring your own bags.

VEGAN I had the vegan curry chicken and the vegan citrus spare ribs with rice and peas, mixed veggies and plantain. This meal so yummy. I loved them both but I think I'm leaning more towards the vegan curry chicken. The rice and veggies were so delicious as well. Most of all the guy at the counter was soooo pleasant and even let us "newbies" try some before buying. Welcoming atmosphere and nice place to sit in the back.

4.5 stars! Wow such a good vegan place! I only tried the fish patty and the jerk chicken meal but both were delicious and a good value (~$4 for patty and $13 for meal when ordered through Grubhub)! I LOVED the fish patty, didn't taste like fish at all, but more mimicked the consistency of a fish curry. So flaky, so flavorful. The jerk chicken meal was good too, the "chicken" was flavorful although you can definitely tell the meat has a soy flavor. It was a good amount of food for a small. I would definitely come back and try the smoothies and pastries!

Amazing spot that I wish I lived closer to - really nice kind people who work here, super patient and helpful. Selection is great and most important TASTES great. Super fresh smoothies. Patties are on point. Backyard patio is cute with wood tones and fairy lights. Usually there's a small line on weekends but it goes fast.

I had a little time before an event I was heading to and I was a little hungry. So I recognized the name of the place because the original location is in my own neighborhood. This location is much brighter and seems bigger due to it's newer updated features from the original. The staff is friendly but not too friendly, letting me know the food is gonna be fire, lol. They were out of chicken patties, which is a good sign too. She suggeste a fish pattie (my 2nd choice) and I went ahead with that period ringing in at a little under $4, I was impressed that it had the markings of an old school Jamaican patty straight from the island. Not too thick or crusty, the savory crust complimented the soy fish inside perfectly. I'm almost sad I didn't get an extra to go, but I wanted to leave something for someone else because they were almost all gone too. I know I'll snag a few next time I'm on Washington.

When someone needs a bottle of CBD delivered to Brooklyn and you haven't been to @natural.blend.bedsty in a bit, you jump right in the whip and throw on some Biggie. Love this spot. Do you even know what a Jamaican pattie is if not from NY. They are typically beef but this place does all diff vegan ones. The lentil and the pumpkin are ridic. Ital (Rastafarian) stew. Heavy on the Turneric. Sea Moss Smoothie for the ride home. First time drinking sea moss despite having it in my house a bunch of times. Think it's about time to jump on the sea moss bandwagon. And a pumpkin crunch loaf for the night time.

Definitely a no frills establishment but I had a good experience. I went in for a smoothie and they have a big menu but I ended up customizing my own, which they had no issue with. I got banana, mango, berries, acai berry with almond milk + agave. It was great and only $6.50 I believe. Love that! Also got a chickpea patty which was yummy. Would recommend!

Tasty, healthy Caribbean food. People working there seem really nice and friendly. Seating is a bit cramped so probably better for pick-up.

Vegan Caribbean pastries are moist and taste just like the real thing. Smoothies taste great, quality ingredients.

The duck seemed a bit maybe watery and the wraps made eating it was sorta like a mu shu dish. It got a bit sloppy. The soup was more spicy than I would prefer. The portions were very generous. Service was good. My friend had the sesame chicken which he liked. Next visit, I'm going for General Chou chicken.

Wall menu showed pictures of various dishes, paper menu lists everthing they have to offer. We settled on scallion pancakes, salt and pepper fried oyster mushrooms and hot and sour soup for appetizers. The pancakes were a tad gummy for my taste but the mushrooms did not disappoint. The tempura batter was light, crispy and flavorful but we ran out of dipping sauce due to the generous portion of mushrooms we received. The soup was hot and spicy, the perfet warm up for a chilly night out. Both entrees were large enough for two meals. The fried rice w/spare rib was delicious but a tad greasy. The orange tangerine chicken w/broccoli fell short. Although the broccoli was cooked to perfection, the chicken was not a hit. Covered in sauce, the nuggets did not have a meaty texture. They were dense and flat not at all tasty. Overall, the food was good, will be back to try other menu items.

Eggplant Parm day! :D" but sadly, there was no eggplant parm, or a myriad of the other sides I had come to know when coming here. So, turns out they completely neutered the menu selection they previously had as well as their offerings in favor of opening up a small cafe upstairs with some sparse offerings. They still "technically" have the meal platter but it just comes with rice and two sides (at the same price)... a stark difference to the "full meal" options they used to have that often came with a main, at least 3-4 sides, soup, and salad. I... honestly have no idea why they would choose to do this, because it completely ruins the charm and what this place kind of stood for but.... I don't think I'm going to come back to this place anymore, sorry. It's not the same endearing place I came to know and love.
