I have never written a review in my life however I feel this one is warranted. I had very blonde eyebrows and requested a soft taupe color. I was assured that this was possible however when the owner of the salon was finished they were very dark brown and eventually turned green! When I returned to complain the owner told me she could repair but would charge me an additional $150. for the service. Feeling I had no choice I agreed however months later my brows are even more green. I have consulted laser removal and am currently paying $300 for treatments but with little change in the color. It took about 3 months to finally get an appointment to see Tina for my eyebrows!! It's definitely worth the wait because permanent makeup should not be taken lightly. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on Tina for my eyebrows. I love that her website and FB page have a portfolio of her work. That made the decision that much easier. She works out of her home office in a very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It doesn't feel like a clinic, but more like a spa setting. She plays spa music in the background and I swear I feel like I'm getting a facial and don't wanna leave!!! When I first got there Brenda sees me for paperwork (consent and release forms.) And I paid before the service. She only accepts cash or internet money transfer. When Tina is ready you go downstairs to the treatment room. She asks about you and your lifestyle and preferences. Then she'll draw in the shape and tweaks it to how you like it. When you're in the treatment bed (the same kind of bed used for when you get facials) she'll show you a brand new clean needle she'll be using. She does the first pass to tattoo in the shape she drew in. Then she'll apply numbing gel and work on the other eyebrow while that starts to kick in. I didn't feel a darn thing. I didn't even know she had started tattooing my eyebrow. Once she's done both brows she lets you take a look at them and tell you to view them in the wall mirror. She'll make any minor adjustment and recheck again. You're sent home with ointment, cotton swabs, instructions for aftercare and a shaping tool to shave the around the eyebrows. She took before and after pictures. I took an after picture of my own and noticed one eyebrow was a little thinner than the other. It's weird because you don't see this discrepancy in the mirror and neither do other people. It isnt until I saw it in pictures. It's quite minor and unless you're super picky (which I am) you won't notice. This is fine, I will get her to adjust it at my followup touch up appointment in December (or sooner if there's a cancellation. ) I am extremely happy with the results. Tina is a very pleasant person with great skill. I love her!! LOL! My eyebrows look so natural even though at the time of this review I just got them done. They're dark right now but I have a feeling a month from now I will want them darker. If you're ever looking to get permanent makeup, don't hesitate to go to Tina. It is worth the long wait for the appointment. I may go back next year to have eyeliner done even though I've just had eyeliner done by someone else. read more

I had my eyebrows done last year in September. Her service is the most expensive service in Canada. I decided to go with her since she was doing my eyebrows and I thought I was paying extra for her skills and expertise. My experience is as follow: the eyebrows are not even, they faded 5 months after she did them, I complained so many times about them and the quality of her work, not doing the job properly. To make things up she wanted to retouch them free of charge. How could I trust her when she didn't do them properly in the first instance. Tina has a horrible customer service, she is only interested in her financial gain, not interested in customer satisfaction. She is extremely difficult to deal with and once one is parted with one's money one cant get it back. read more

If my experience with #TinaDavies was not bad enough, she contacted my employer to try and get me fired as I had used my work email to complete a review. A review which was written in my own personal time outside of my workplace. One of the worst parts of my experience was my eyebrow getting infected, and now I have a scar. The harmony blade used during my microblading did not give sharp lines, instead it looks blurry/ smudged. I've had microblading done before and I've never had such a bad experience. Tina did not even care that my eyebrows had turned into a medical issue. The least she could have done was apologize but I never got one from her. To put it simply, she pretty much said "too bad" and I that I would not get a refund. Tina was very professional and courteous, and would explain the procedure step by step as she goes along. She made me feel comfortable. I had my brows and eyeliner done and both came out OK... not great but OK. I am not a make-up artist, nor do I know about how to correctly shape/draw brows so I trust that the person tattooing my brows, especially if she has years of experience doing thousands of these procedures, to make sure that the brows are even in length, thickness and height. I was referred to Tina by a friend, which also cemented my trust in her abilities. In hindsight, I would have been more critical when reviewing the initial draw-in (i.e., she would initially draw in with a pencil the shape of the brows to be tattooed). I would have checked the height was symmetrical, that the outer brow lines up with the nose+outer eye and similarly that the inner brow starts at the alignment of the nose to inner corner of eye. In my case, I didn't do that, Tina didn't do that so I was left with a right brow that was thicker, longer and lower than my left brow. That was my one regret was not checking all of that. Otherwise, Tina is good at drawing the shape of a brow, and her feathering technique is natural. I like the colour she chose as it looks also natural. I had to go back for 2 free touch up sessions to try to fix the uneven brows (she can only do so much without making my brows to thick to match each other, i.e., adding at the top of one and adding at the bottom for the other) and both times, she was professional but I'm also not the belligerent/demanding type customer. I don't regret getting my brows done but would just recommend that everyone learn about how to draw eyebrows (google the guidelines) and then check the initial draw-in meticulously because once they are tattooed, it is a pain to fix. I am currently doing some laser tattoo removal on my right brown to reduce the thickness and length and then hopefully be able to fix at my next eyebrow tattooing session to get it more evened out. read more

BE AWARE! Clients of Tina Davies be aware of the following before you let her tattoo your face, permanently. As a client you pay for her service, tattoo, in advance before any work's done. With this and signing the contract with her, Tina is off the hook. Her responsibility towards you stops there. So when her work turns out to be wrong, tattooed permanently on your face, she will cover it by telling you that Angelina Jolie's eyebrows are not the same too. Who cares about Angelina whilst your (mine) face looks uneven and the price paid for that is $700. My eyebrows were done in a dark brown colour which faded 4 months after the second touch up. So the marketing tool used on Tina's website and in verbal that a new set of the eyebrows are going to last 2 years ( which is used heavily to justify for a such expensive service) is a big fat lie. The colour used on my face was dark brown when faded became reddish. When the eyebrows were tried to be removed by a laser it very quickly became apparent that Tina uses colours with the white colour base which is impossible to remove by a laser. If she is such a great expert with all those years of experience, somebody who cares about her customers and what products she uses Tina should know this and perhaps use more expensive colours since she charges soooo much. My personal experience dealing with Tina is she only cares about the money, nothing more nothing else. Unfortunately I have to give her 1* for this review to be published. read more
