I won't be returning here again. Besides the fact that everything is beyond overpriced, this is not only the first, second but third time I've seen an expired product. The first time I saw it I complained to the cashier and told her where to the item was, second time I went back to the product and they were still in the same spot and still expired (they expired in EARLY June, it was now the end of July) and I brought the item up to show the cashier who was apologetic. Now for the third time, my mom bought the same item which I immediately checked and it was not expired however it has black mold all over it. The expiration date is the end of August but it was so poorly packaged (not tight enough) and then the employees there obviously have not been properly checking the shelves for rotting, expired and moldy food. Same thing goes with Vitellios over on Yellowstone, there are tons of expired items there too, sadly. Except Vitellios gives you your money back, this place gives you the hardest time especially when you deal with the woman with the short black hair (look up other reviews on here about her) who definitely lives up to her reputation as being the rudest person.

One on the only places in Forest Hills, not named Trader Joe's, where one can buy organic food products. There's moderate street parking and a bit pricier than your Non-Organic alternative, but, the convenience factor is unmatched as they're located on the busy corner of Austin St & Ascan Ave. Their deli section has decent Boars Head selections as well as imported prosciuttos and other similar options. Their butcher section provides many sought after cuts of meat including T-bone steaks, skirt steak, ribeye, lamb & pork. They make their own brine for two type of pickle and have a vast selection of craft ice cream alternative products(dairy-free)

Quart of milk went up 30 cents, to $1.99 now....that's quite an increase...now no longer one of the cheaper places to purchase milk.

However, what truly impressed me was how Scott's Flowers handled the situation. Kate was incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about making things right. She listened carefully to my feedback, communicated with kindness and transparency, and personally made sure a replacement arrangement was created and delivered promptly. The replacement bouquet featured much fresher, higher-quality flowers, and I could clearly see the extra care that went into it. While the artistic style was still a little different from what had originally drawn me to the website, I truly appreciate the team's sincere effort and commitment to customer satisfaction. Mistakes can happen, but outstanding customer service is what earns trust and loyalty. Kate turned what could have been a disappointing experience into one that made me feel valued as a customer. Thank you, Kate, for your professionalism, patience, and genuine care. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Scott's Flowers again because of the excellent customer service you provided.

As our floral designer, she guided us every step of the way, asked thoughtful questions, understood our vision, and made sure every floral detail matched what we had envisioned for our special day. For our Indian ceremony, the garlands, bouquets, and mandap were absolutely beautiful and beyond what we imagined. For our Cambodian ceremony, the flower arch and floral arrangements were stunning and created the perfect backdrop for the celebration. The reception décor was equally gorgeous. The centerpieces, sweetheart loveseat, and flower arch beautifully matched our theme and created a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere. Every floral arrangement was thoughtfully designed and added so much beauty to our venue. Thank you, Sumithra, for bringing our wedding vision to life and making each ceremony and our reception so memorable. We received so many compliments from our guests and could not have been happier with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Forest Hills Lilies of the Valley!

We paid a deposit when booking and were told they understood exactly what we wanted and that we were the only wedding booked for our date at the time. As the wedding approached, we repeatedly had to call and visit the shop to correct details that had been forgotten or misunderstood. We also did not receive a contract until much later in the process, despite already having paid a deposit and having made our arrangements. That was definitely a learning experience for us, and we now know how important it is to have everything clearly documented from the beginning. Unfortunately, even after all of the communication and corrections, when we picked up our flowers the day before our wedding, every single arrangement was wrong, including the bridal bouquet. We had provided specific pictures and clear instructions. The request was simple: roses were supposed to be reserved for the bride, with different white flowers used throughout the rest of the wedding. Instead, roses were used in everything. When we brought this to their attention, we were essentially told that these were the flowers that had been ordered and that there was nothing they could do to fix it. We were also told there were multiple weddings that day, but that should never come at the expense of providing customers with what they ordered. The flowers also could not be delivered the morning of the wedding as originally expected. Thankfully, another florist was able to step in and fix what they could, but having to deal with this the day before our wedding was incredibly stressful and disappointing. What was most frustrating was not simply that a mistake was made, it was the lack of accountability and customer service afterward. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes says everything. Our wedding day was beautiful despite this experience, but this was absolutely not what we expected after investing a considerable amount of money and communicating our vision so many times. I sincerely hope this was a major mistake and not intentional, but regardless, I would strongly recommend future couples get everything in writing from the beginning, make sure every detail is documented, and double-check everything before trusting this florist with their wedding day. The images are what I send and what I received. ‍ Decide for yourself
