I love this store. They have everything for all your natural food and supplements needs! I like coming here than New Seasons and Whole Foods. It is a smaller location, but the product selection is good.

By far the best health food store that came to Portland. 90% gluten-free, dairy free, all the vitamins and supplements you could ever need! they do demo classes there every Sunday from 3 to 4, teaching you how to cook gluten-free meals they tell you about different supplements how to implement them and use them that you've always wondered how to do. Some items were on sale but for this kind of product anything gluten-free or dairy free you're always going to pay more! yes they are about 1 to 2 bucks more but it's worth it If your kids have allergies or you need gluten-free stuff this is the best place to shop because you don't have to look at the product you don't have to think about it you can go in there and I'll guarantee 95% of the stuff is going to be allergy net free dairy free this is wonderful

    Awesome organic produce!

Not as much meat, fish, cheese, bulk or prepared foods as New Seasons but prices are far better than there.

I unfortunately have become a lot less mobile - standing for long periods very much harms my leg tissue so i need to limit standing which means that I am not able to cook as much as I would like to. Prepared foods are such a tragedy. Having veggies cut up in advance is such a time saver sometimes! I used to avoid it because the word fresh was a joke but Safeway had such a great selection of very well priced and fresh fruit and vegetables. Also, those horrifically large veggie trays with some ranch - they have small single servings! I go to things like Shakespeare in the Park so grabbing a wrap sandwich and some veggies for snacking is wonderful! Also, cut up bowls of fresh fruit. There are quite a few selections of different small meats, cheeses with crackers and/or nuts. It is so nice to have options for those of us who forgot our lunch too! They are much less than the fast food options and far better for you as well. This location really seems to run a tight ship where everything, even during a pretty busy afternoon was neat and tidy which is appreciated. I even got fast, knowledgeable help from a passing by employee which is always great, especially when there seems to be a BBQ rush of people in the store.

Cashier "Indi" Helped me with my Safeway app so I could get every discount possible. I've never received such amazing service as that.. most cashiers tell you to take it to the front desk if there's a problem after reviewing the receipt. I've always dreaded the thought of going to Safeway shopping, but this experience just changed my feelings a bit. Please Foster other cashiers so that they instill this as a normal practice. Thank you Indi for a great experience. Marty Hummel

And the prices..., and yes, the quality too...! She now LOVES shopping here early! Look at this video. These prices... not every price is less than Fred Meyer, but most are and we walked out of there with a good haul, for about 30% less! 30% LESS!!! And the people that work here have been so nice to us. Even when you get to the registers and it might be packed, they are SO fast to open up new registers and unclog quickly! Notice the quality of the meats and veggies! Wow, better than Freddy's, IMHO and the prices... I mean... who sells London Broil for $4.99 / lb anymore. Wanna get an idea how much Kroger is making off you by not dropping prices after the pandemic allowed them to go up to automatic gouging level? When you see Powerade 32oz. bottles here for 89 cents, what they used to be before CoViD at FM, and are now between $1.49 and $1.99 now... dang... going to FM for everything is like throwing money down the drain... or like giving welfare to Kroger and their shareholders. This place is worker-owned and it shows in EVERYTHING they do. Can't say enough. Go. Go early, but GO.

You stroll into some fancy chain for "ordinary things," and boom prices double like they're auditioning for a magic show. WinCo keeps it real. Sure, you've got to bag your own groceries, but honestly, that's just a small workout to justify the snacks you're about to buy. A little lift, a little laugh, and a whole lot of savings now that's my kind of cardio. Parking? Yeah, it's a circus out there. I don't even mess with the middle lanes those are for people braver than me. I slide to one end, swoop in like a grocery ninja, and grab all the good stuff before the crowd remembers what they forgot. It's close to my house, the products are solid, and the deals are the real deal. If you like your wallet thick and your pantry stocked, WinCo is the place no rhyme intended, but hey, the savings always do.

I used the motorized carts which are pretty great at turning and navigating. They really do not take up more room that a regular grocery cart except I am attached to it. There were so many aisles of the store (and a large percentage of the produce department) which I was not able to get down because there were so many large things out stacked super high and wide with them restocking. And the people doing it were just glaring at me like I was the issue. It was super frustrating, especially as the store's customer foot traffic kept increasing since it was a Monday before Christmas around the 8am hour. I appreciate coupons but their machines do not want to accept anything. I always feel like I have to watch the register like a hawk and use the self check when I am able so I can watch and make certain I get the price they listed. This store seems to be arranged very differently to the other stores so it was a challenge to find things.
