This was not my first time in, but definitely the best experience here yet! On prior visits months ago the staff wasn't friendly or knowledgable about products I was searching for, nor helpful. I hadn't gone back...but recently I had have heard some very positive reviews from a healthy living group I belong to, and so I decided to give this store another try. I'm very glad I did! Today I was greeted with a very cheery "hello" upon entry, and all the staff actually made eye contact and said "good morning" as they passed me. I was asked if I needed help finding anything, & although I didn't need help- I still like that they made effort to help. I quickly found exactly what I was looking for and a few extra treats, too! The prices are pretty reasonable in comparison to WF, as well as Sprouts (I shop sprouts only because it's close to home-not because I particularly like the store - no great prices, and major lack of customer service there!). The cashier was chatty and fast and I was out of there quickly and satisfied with the overall experience. I will definitely add this into the main rotation for groceries or specific vegan products vs going to Sprouts or WF. Keep up the great work, Natural Grocers! read more

I usually love Natural Grocers, but this particular one in Henderson did not have a clean air atmosphere. And the checker was wearing strong perfume. I am very disappointed. It is supposed to be a natural environment and it was not! Please dispense of the harmful toxic chemicals used there. And please no toxic perfumes. Stopped in to check out the store since I'd never been there. The produce looked super fresh, but unfortunately, that was really the only thing that appealed to me. They have a huge selection of supplements and a great selection of frozen foods and center store items. Vegan, organic, gluten free, unbleached paper towels and toilet paper just aren't my thing. I did buy a couple of things to try and the cashier was super friendly and the store was super clean. If you shop at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, etc....you should check this store out. read more

This place if fantastic! A friend recommended I check it out. So I went to their website first to look at ads and sign up up for their emails. Good idea! To thank me for signing up they sent me a $2 off coupon! Their selection of organic, grass-fed and even lots of Paleo products is quite impressive! Many things I've never found anywhere else!! It also seems like a good idea to just go in there and browse because I saw quite a few items that weren't listed in the add that had been marked down on clearance that were great prices! Went here today because I am trying to go Veganish (99% is my home goal) and I know they probably had the best selection of Vegan foods for me to try and I was right! Beyond Meat burgers and sausages Daiya Yogurt Daiya, Follow Your Heart and Miyoko cheese No evil chorizo? Thats a new one for me.... Tofutti sour cream, cream cheese and ricotta... Bee free honee, Nutritional Yeast and sooooo much more! The staff, a woman named Terri (Spell check) was super helpful...I kept asking her where everywhere was and she didnt get upset, some do, believe me....I almost invited her to my gift giveaways group on FB, if anyone deserves to win something, its her! The store was clean, very well organized, not too costly....I felt calm and comfortable there, usually in bigger chain stores I feel anxious as I am not a social person and it just was calm, oh and did I mention I found vegan soap? Nice... If you are new to the store, tell them and you get a free bag for your groceries and then you just take that bag back for next time...or you can buy bags for 99 cents, this way no plastic is being used which is so much better for the environment. They are so damned friendly that I started talking to this one girl who works there and I almost walked out without paying! hahaha....Id like to blame her but Im pretty absent minded! 2016 Yelp 100 Review Challenge - 34/100 There's a new natural foods grocery market in town! I stopped in today for their grand opening, and I have to say I am impressed! They took over the Fresh & Easy market location on Sunset and Arroyo Grande. It's definitely a couple steps up from Fresh and Easy. They cover a variety of natural and health conscious brands I haven't seen at Sprouts and Whole Foods. They carry prepackaged natural bulk foods, some which need to be refrigerated (nuts and large bags of rice), this is the first place I've seen in Las Vegas that carries these types of foods. Interesting and will try! - Fun facts: They've been in business since 1955, locations scattered throughout the US, first store opened in Colorado. - They also do nutrition classes and have a room dedicated for that. How awesome! - Huge variety of natural beauty products, oils, beeswax, supplements and materials/containers you need to make your own lip balms and lotions for an affordable price! (I could not find these at Whole Foods and Sprouts) - Another favorite I'll be back for is the mist body sprays. Two that caught my eye: * Frankincense & Myrrh -- love this one! * Lavender with Lemongrass Another scent: Rosemary & Mint -- I didn't get to try it, well, not yet. Will do on my next visit. It's very unique and somewhere I could see myself shopping often with my love for organic and natural foods! *** I'll add more info this week! I have been doing all my shopping at this store for three months.today I found out they don't enforce Masks, they don't even ask why they don't have a mask on, even though they have a sign at the door.so much for this store I'm not going to go in to a store that won't as much as ask the people or give them a mask. No, I don't believe they have a health problem. My daughter has a severe condition related to breathing and asthma and she told me that if she can wear a mask anybody could wear a mask. A doctor from Harvard said if a person can breathe they can wear a mask it does not prevent you from breathing and if the rest of us are doing this to get over this crazy Covid, then everybody should try! read more

Took over for the old Fresh N' Easy (Tescos in the U.K.) This is a chain from beautiful Colorado. They have some key things here that set them apart from Sprouts, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods: 1. Suffering from desert dehydration? Their gigantic vitamin department has this marvelous product called Hydration Factor. $15 for 15 sticks. At just one a day ($1 a day), I finally feel hydrated in a way that mineral waters weren't doing alone. Same with my family. It's quite awesome. I hope the same works for others. I combine these sticks with the high mineral water (in gallon form) from New Zealand carried at Trader Joe's. Seems to work best this way. Better to be moisturized inside than to overuse potentially toxic creams. Honestly. Try it out. 2. They actually have decent chocolate! Alter Eco is Swiss and organic. What more can you ask for? haha. Plenty of other decent brands, too, such as Green & Blacks. All are lower than normal prices. 3. Organic, packaged deli meats, such as organic turkey, are cheaper here than anywhere else. Save $1-$3 per package. Adds up so fast! 4. Organic, pasture raised eggs are about HALF the price. Even the omega-3 enhanced ones. These prices are no yolk, people. 1.99/dozen. Yes, and ones cultivated by the Mennonites and the Amish (simple people are the best farmers!) -- which you cannot even find at other stores. Last time I saw these was at a high end grocery in San Diego. J 2.99 for their top shelf eggs. 1.99 for non-organic versions, but with similar standards. Literally half the price of everywhere else, even after Amazon's price reductions at WFM. This is their loss leader, and it's an insanely good deal. Very easy to feed a family at this price. What you may not have ever heard is that due to their high nutrition profile (choline, healing fats, etc.) eggs are also known to heal the brain and skin. Used in burn wards, (very) high egg diets are known to double healing speed and improve outcomes. Similarly, people in car accidents or recipients of other head trauma report similarly recoveries they wouldn't have had otherwise. (me included!) ADD and ADHD is often addressed by the choline in eggs alone. Even more so for the omega-3 enhanced ones. However, you need a lot of them for this effect and you need to be able to afford them. Very possible here! So extremely grateful for this shop 2. Grass fed, grass finished beef hot dogs and sausages from the Grand Tetons. Cool. You literally don't know where the grass fed hotdogs come from even at the otherwise lovable Trader Joe's. So this is a nice treat, from a known clean area. 3. Artisana products, like their organic, raw coconut oil. Artisana can be found elsewhere, but it's inexpensive here and is a best of breed brand. Bottom line, this is a fantastic spot for Hendersonites to fill their pantries and fridges with high density nutritional goodness, for 3/4 the hospital emergency room rate of Whole Foods. Plus, you know you're supporting some old school Colorado hippies instead of greedy phatpig corpo Hidden-GMO-loving sellouts in Austin. read more

This is a great little grocery store. I find things here I don't find anywhere else. Lots of variety of vegan of premade frozen meals. Though you'll find lots of variety the price is about $1.00 more than sprouts or even Whole Foods. There are deals from time to time. I do wish it was closer to my place I would frequent it more often. The staff is always friendly and greets you as you enter with a hearty hello. Huge isles of vitamins and minerals supplements! It's a nice place to pick up your natural, organic foods and Heath foods. read more

Went to this store for the first time today. I really liked it. They have a little bit of everything and they carry a lot of really good brands. Their bulk section is great and the prices are really good. They have a deal on eggs but you have to sign up for their rewards program to get it. Also when you sign up you get a free reusable bag and $2 off your first purchase. If you do not bring your own bags they offer boxes to pack your groceries into. The only thing I was really disappointed with was their produce section. Overripe fruit and weltering vegetables, and that's why I took a star off. read more

Natural grocers is my favorite grocery store ever. They have great produce and a variety of products from foods, to pet stuff to personal care products not to mention their vast supplement section. Their employees are always so kind and helpful ..above and beyond. I asked them if they could look into carrying a certain brand of vegan cheese and they contacted their supplier to see if it was possible! (Sadly they couldn't get that particular brand but have so many other good options). Their prices are great and there are so many perks like free classes on nutrition and health, and a free reusable bag upon your first visit. I could keep going on, I love this place!! read more

This was my first venture out in 5 months due to the Coronavirus covid-19 pandemic! I felt welcome safe and happy shopping in Natural Grocers. What a phenomenal store! Organic produce, quality brands, healthy items, and the supplements section is absolutely amazing well stocked. I was told by my cashier (Beverlee G), that they have a nutritionist working in the store that can talk to you for an hour about supplements that I will definitely utilize in the future. Natural Grocers is my favorite grocery store in the Las Vegas area for organic food. They are kind of like Trader Joes before it got popular, selling generic bulk dried fruit & nuts, but they are even better. 1. The majority of food in their stores is organic. 2. They are the only grocery store in the Las Vegas area that keeps their flour in the refrigerator section. Flour can become rancid unless it is refrigerated or has a preservative (chemical) to keep it fresh. 3. They are the only store in Las Vegas that sells organic pre-packaged bulk spices. The pre-packaging keeps it clean and free from pests. Since we are not buying a bottle, the cost is kept low. I have not been able to find any other store in the Las Vegas area that sells bulk organic spices. 4. They also sell organic pre-packaged bulk grains, nuts & seeds, teas and herbs. Love how merchandise is categorized and sorted here. The signage also made it easier to find things I was looking for within a few seconds. I didnt have to wander up and down aisles. Produce is fresh. Love the selection within the brand of products...IE the best and largest selection of Califia Farms groceries. I found awesome selection of essential oils, different brands and priced right. Popular health and nutrition brands well represented here too. I like how they keep the packaged nuts in the cold case! As far as customer service, it's okay I guess. No one on the floor, but none needed. Cashiers were helpful and polite. Most importantly, pretty affordable. read more

I am so glad this place exists; I only wish there were one closer to me! I eat a clean vegan diet, so while it's possible to find all of my favorite foods at nearby grocery stores, it usually takes a few trips between Smiths, Sprouts, and Whole Foods. Natural Grocers is way earlier and way more affordable than Whole Paycheck. I loaded up on dry goods including oats, tea, nutritional yeast, and spices yesterday. Their bulk section is UNREAL. Also, the service is amazing. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately by a cashier, and while looking for citric acid, who employees jumped in to help me find it quicker. If you're looking for a natural grocery store and or if you have an obnoxious diet like me, definitely check them out! From the time you walk in, the staff is super friendly and willing to help guide you through the store. ALL THEIR PRODUCE IS ORGANIC!!!! You don't have to search through to find decent options! The store is quaint, but offers everything you'd need. Prices are far better than other health food markets! Absolutely LOVE this store!!! Wish there were more than 5 stars to give, they earned it! If you like to purchase all your organic, non gmo, grass fed, paleo, gluten free, etc etc stuff in one place, then this is it. This store WILL NOT SELL inhumanely raised beef or chicken or any meat like that. They even took my favorite yogurt (brown cow) off the shelf because they did not like the way the cows were being treated. You can feel good about anything you purchase in this store because it is totally vetted by the buyers of NG. Bulk section is prepacked and they have a great selection. (nuts, oats, grains, etc) You can fill your water bottles here (.25 gallon) and pay with your groceries. Great organic and non organic cosmetics, lotions, deodorants, and shampoos. Sale paper comes out once a month and sale prices are valid for that whole month. Store often has an "in store" special (Amy's burritos were half off for a while, YAY) Case price discount of 10% on most items. Be sure to look in clearance section for frozen meat (10% off) and other items that are ready to expire, can find some good deals. Samples of items throughout store. Returns are easy with receipt (but I think there is a time limit). This store is not for everyone, but it should be. Love the NG brand tuna (my favorite, as I always purchase about 10 cans at once). Love the heidi ho vegan cheese (you have to try it), love the beyond meat meatless crumbles and other meatless products they carry in the freezer section). Variety of dairyless milk and yogurt. This is the best market in all of Las Vegas and in actuality, all of the US as well. It is the only place you can trust that all in it is NON GMO. There is no lying here. This is an honest healthy market. I shop here all the time and often leave spending hundreds of dollars. I trust it over all other healthy markets. The only things I wish they would add to make the experience even better is #1) an ORGANIC coffee and hot tea bar, #2) a salad and hot food bar and #3) more locations closer to my area of Las Vegas. I would be at this store everyday if they had one near the heart of this city. The stores tend to be a little more on the smaller side so it would be great if they could expand a bit to include the above. Maybe one day. I went here shortly after moving to Vegas. At first I only intended to buy supplements, but I couldn't help myself. This is a grocery store dream for anyone who's vegan, organic, gluten free, soy free... you get the picture. It's like Whole Foods, but with better selection of "specialty products" that are staples for my restrictive diet and without the high prices. I mean, I seriously can't believe the prices are so fair. Plus, they have a dried foods/herbs/grains/seeds section so I can stock up on ingredients I use to make my skin care. Bonus! read more

I really enjoyed going to this store. Many healthful choices and great customer service. I came there for one thing and ended up needing a grocery cart. The prices were pretty reasonable, and I liked that they had some different healthful types of food to choose from (energy date bar, etc.). Since I was new to the store, I didn't know you needed to bring your own bag. However, the clerk was nice enough to give me a free colorful bag of theirs to use that day. I was so thrilled to find a closer all organic grocery store! People who gave this place low marks did so because they arent organic shoppers and dont understand how hard it is to find, for instance, fresh ears of organic corn. I feasted with my family on that tonight. I also found that by and large, with the exception of the meats, the prices were cheaper than whole foods and sprouts, and they had almost exclusively organic food and personal products, unlike those other places where you have to root through everything to find the organic offerings. The staff was extremely polite and though i was slightly put off that they didnt have paper bags for free like TJs or while foods, at least they offer bags for sale for .99$ which saved the day.
