Quick service and great prices! I've been going here for about a year and after referring all my friends here, I finally decided to write a review about this place. Note: there's two locations - I'm not sure if they are owned by the same owner, but they are both located in the same plaza. I've only been to the second location once- which is located upstairs, so I don't have much of an opinion of their second location. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, so either come early or on the weekdays if you don't want to wait. However, even on their busiest days, the longest I had to wait was 20 minutes. I only get my eyebrows threaded here, but they offer other services as well! Eyebrows are $5 now (it used to be $4). However, this place is one of the cheapest places for eyebrows I've found and I've been pretty pleased with the services. I don't have a particular person I go to (you have to pay more if you request for a certain person), but I haven't had any issues with any of the people who did my eyebrows yet. read more

This has been the only place I have been coming to get my eyebrows done since I moved here 2 years ago. Unfortunately, despite that, when I came to get my eyebrows done last Thursday, and despite me speaking to the woman who did my eyebrows in Hindi (but maybe she did not hear), I was still treated badly when I went to pay. The girl ringing me up asked her (in Hindi), if the cost should be $5 or $6 and the woman who did my eyebrows, again obviously thinking I can't understand her, says loudly $7. I don't mind paying $7 if that's a consistent thing, but I do have a problem being discriminated against as if I'm not Indian, just spoke to you in Hindi, and have had previous conversations about these things in the 2 years I have been coming here! The service here is absolutely terrible. I called to book an appointment for a facial before I came in the shop. Once, I arrived they asked me to give me about 10 minutes.After waiting nearly 45 minutes, I got upset and left. Not once did they acknowledge how long we've been sitting and waiting or even said anything about the inconvenience. Please treat your customers better! read more

I poked my head into DC next door, but it was a mob scene (it happened to be midday on a weekend in Patel Plaza) so I quickly retreated and peered into Natural Identity. It also looked busy but a tad less so. A nice young woman set her sights on me and quickly approached/pounced. She could thread my brows with no wait, score! For $4, you aren't going to get new age music and incense and microscopic precision, but you will get a crying little boy in the chair next to you. Poor kid did not want his hair cut. Service is lightning fast. One eyebrow looked a little thicker than the other, oh well. For the price, you can't complain. Bring cash. read more

There are 5 locations in Georgia, all around Decatur and Atlanta area. I come here to get my eyebrows threaded or "cleaned." You can't beat the price here. Only -drum roll- $4! Bring cash! My go to spot to for my eyebrows since 2014! I am pretty particular when it comes to my eyebrows and I have never had a bad experience here. Also, you can't beat $4 for really good eyebrow threading. The customer service overall could be a little bit better as some people who work here can be a bit rude at times. However, I'm only here for a max of 10 minutes typically, so as long as they're doing a good job, it doesn't necessarily bother me. All the women who do thread here are great, but Mumtaz is definitely my favorite. She's always very precise and polite. They take walk-ins, which I appreciate. If they are ever busy on a day when you go in, they have another location upstairs in the same plaza, which is fantastic as well! read more

Horrible experience. Hair cut was horrible and extremely overpriced. Hair dresser didn't know what she was doing, and kept pulling my hair out with the brush giving me a migraine. No shampoo or washing was included, and no styling either. Also tools were not sanitized in between customers and I was shocked by that! Overall I don't think they even deserve one star. I wish I could give this place a negative five. I came in Friday 7/5 to get a henna done, I'm African American btw... showed the lady the henna design I was thinking of getting , she looked at me and asked "natural" I answered "yes"... not being informed that there are two types black and brown. I'm brown skinned and I showed a picture of a black henna and was given brown henna instead on my skin, which did not show at all and I was disappointed, I decided on calling next day since I had my vacation later that afternoon to see if there could be a way to change it to black, I decided on going in, first of all I have to say the staff were pretty pleasant even the lady that did my henna, it was simple miscommunication and I think as a darker skinned person , it would be common sense that black would be more visible on my skin, instead of trying to maybe redoing the henna , I was told to talk to management which basically told me " it is, what it is" and it was my fault in getting the brown, there was never a time someone asked "how can they make it better?". They saw that the henna was not visible on my skin and didn't care . I finally asked back for a refund in which I was denied. After getting highly irritated at how they dealt with me and started making a scene and they realized customers was coming in , I was told I'm upsetting there customers , so I should leave, so I guess I was not important to them being a previous customer. I refused and then I was offered a $20 refund which I paid $35 for the henna and they said the $15 was for the products used on me, this is a good place to go to until you have an issue with the service rendered in the business, as I stated prior I have no issues with the staffing but there management team is highly disrespectful. I will never go back to this place and will never recommend them to anyone, I left feeling less than when I was basically kicked out, with a place that promotes feeling beautiful. I heard about a place in this plaza to get eyebrows threaded for $4, so I'd been wanting to check it out. However, it wasn't until I left that I realized my friends recommended the place next door (DC Nails & Image). I came here right after 6pm after a workday. The salon was really quiet (as in, I was the only client there). Apparently the prices go up to $5 for eyebrow threading after 6pm weekdays. But the woman who did my brows said she'll still just take $4. You really can't beat $4 for eyebrow threading. I felt like her job wasn't the greatest though. After I came home and looked at my brows closely in the mirrors, I realized she left a few stragglers. But, I'm giving this place 4 stars because she was really nice, did the threading really quickly, and because of the good price. However, I'm going to check out DC Nails & Beauty (right next door) to do a comparison. Not a bad place to get your eyebrows done. I was referred here over 4 years ago by my friend and co-worker Mona, and you really just can't beat the convenience of it being RIGHT next to Patel Brothers. You can get your shopping done and head over to get your brows/upper-lips done. The wait can be a bitch, but it's worth it. They use a high quality eucalyptus/tea tree oil smelling cream on your skin after threading, which is much appreciated. My upper lip is sensitive, so sometimes I'm left with bleeding hair follicles (which is not appreciated). read more

I usually get my threading done at the upstairs location and they are awesome! However upstairs is not open on a Monday. My eyebrows were so untidy that I decided to go to the location downstairs. I wish I had waited til Tuesday.... First of all, when I walked in, I asked the receptionist how much for eyebrows and upper lip. She said $8 for both. I made sure I asked because the last time I had to go there, they overcharged me. They did it again today. After getting one eyebrow thinner than the other, and lopsided too, I was charged $9! It's only a dollar, but they are dishonest. U can't say a price before the job is done and then charge another price after. This was the second and the very last time I'm going there. Worst service ever!!! I live in the area and had to urgently go to dis place to get my under arms waxed cz I had a wedding to attend dis afternoon but very upset with the service. Good place to get your eyebrows threaded in metro-Atlanta. They are quick and they do a pretty good job for only $4.00. You never know who is going to do your eyebrows but just make sure that you tell them exactly how you want it done. I've only been here for the great deal on eyebrow threading. For $4 those unruly caterpillars above your eyes can be groomed with more precision than waxing. If you're new to threading, I won't lie, it might hurt. But, it gets easier in time and you do get used to it. I user to go here often when I lived here four years ago and I'm glad the price didn't go up! I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. I have had waits in the past, so it is a hit or miss. The nice ladies in there have always been friendly. The salon can cater to many beauty needs (facials, haircuts, makeup, wedding hair/makeup/dressing/henna) I've only been here for my brows but I've seen quite a few Indian/Pakistani brides to be there for their big day makeup and hair. I never had a regular person there for my brows, but if you are wary they would take too much off simply say you want them to go slowly and you can take a look in a mirror as they make your Bert eyebrows look pretty. read more

This place is a hit or miss, it all depends on who you find to actually thread your eyebrows. There is this one lady that I really like who always does an exceptional job, but she hasn't been there the last 2 times I went. Unfortunately my last 2 visits were disappointing, uneven eyebrows twice in a row. 2nd time was worse, so bad that she apologized and gave me this make up powder to apply on my eyebrows when doing my make up so my eyebrows could look "even" - I was still very frustrated, when I expressed how I felt, she told me I told her to clean my eyebrows ( as if that was a reason for them to be threaded unevenly) - I just didn't get it ... I am not sure about going back unless it's that particular lady who always does a good job. I probably will find myself another place. read more

Some times the female owner can be unwelcoming, but everyone else is nice. The eye brow arching is great! It hurts terribly, but you get use to it. Rose (or Rosie) is the best person there. This was my second time getting my brows done the first time I didn't catch the girl who did my name brows and I typically like to go to the same person Anissa did my brows she was very gently it's crazy I didn't experience nearly as much pain as I have in the past ... I have eyebrows that look like caterpillars if I go too long with getting them shaped so I expect to leave with tears in my eyes ...
