The front is really cluttered and I don't get the snack bar. I don't really want to go in for a beauty service and have people eating in the front. It's just odd to me. To start off I came to sweet and lashful day spa highly recommended by both social media and Yelp. I was very disappointed unfortunately. I came to Nancy for my microblading/ microshading. My first appointment she was 30 min late (this was just the consultation) saying she was unfortunately pulled over; and I let it slide just because I felt like her service would be worth it. I booked my actually microblading/shading appointment a week and a half in advance and when it was time for my appointment she was again 30 min late with a different excuse. She had the desk lady apply my numbing cream ( which I could tell the girl was uncomfortable and didn't know how to do it- very unprofessional) while I waited for Nancy to come. Once she arrived I didn't get an apology or anything which I thought was odd since I am paying so much for this service. Speaking of payment - on their site it says microblading/shading is $650 and they charged my $100 more than that not sure why, and I did see a review below that they order charged someone else. I went in for my first set of lashes and saw Phoebe; I was excited she squeezed me in last minute. When I walked back to the service room I was really bothered that it wasn't sanitized or anything since the previous guest (phoebe walked her out and then brought me back so no way it was cleaned). We didn't discuss lash length, type or anything she just told me I need a bashful set and 30 mins later I was done (30!!). Most good lash extensions are supposed to take 2+ hours! Brazilian Wax Review: This is a long one, but it really gives insight to why this experiment changed my entire view on waxing. My esthetician was Italia. I have had a terrible experience with waxing. I've tried sugaring and hard wax. I've gone to European Wax Center, Sweet Samba, Organic Wax, and Art of Wax. I've tried different estheticians, numbing creams, prayer, you name it. Nothing quite did the trick. I could never take the pain and at times the esthetician was so rude I've vowed never to return. Sweet and Lashfuls studio was very clean and calming. They have FREE PARKING OUT FRONT, which is sometimes rare in this area, and the staff is very welcoming. Before coming in I asked the receptionist to PLEASE tell the esthetician that I have a very low pain tolerance and I am not an "in and out" customer. When I laid down I told Italia that I have never successfully gotten through a waxing and was very apprehensive but I was willing to give my all. Italia LISTENED to me and was very understanding. She made me feel like I was just the worst client ever and she DIDN'T RUSH me even though it was close to closing. Long story short, she was actually able to wax me. Honestly I think it had to do with the pre-numbing treatment we did and her impeccable bed side manner. I was out in approximately 45 minutes, which is a record for me. Not lying, I almost cried from joy. I've never had a better experience. I immediately booked my follow up. Italia is an angel! I called my best friend after. I was that happy. I go in for a lash appointment and a pedicure next week. I will follow up with more afterwards. read more

I was completely new to the service and had no idea what was happening. I wish someone explained what was happening. The first red flag should've been the discount they give for 5 star reviews... It was quite uncomfortable during the procedure and still is after. My eyelashes look completely different on each eye and one eye is so out of control I have a lot of discomfort. Review: I had virgin black hair and used foilyage technique to go blonde. The process took about 5 hours. It starts with bleaching your hair with a blue dye, which turns your hair into this yellowish color. Then you wash it off. Cut your hair. And then apply color. Wash again. Then dry and style. The standard pricing are: - Balayage starts at $145 + $10 for each additional bowl - Foilyage starts at $160 + $10 for each additional bowl - Olaplex - $30 I had set up an appointment with Jenn to get an understanding of the process, show her what I'm looking for and get a price. She did a GREAT job at explaining to a newbie like myself on how it works. I opted for for foilyage to be more protective of my hair and still be lighter. It's a multi step process to get to the ashy blonde im aiming for. I ran into a hiccup with the hairstylist as I had met with her in person for her to see my hair and give me an exact price. During consultation she quoted an "exact"price of $200 (including promotional offer) but after the service was done she said the price was $250. But as I had refreshed her memory of the price she had quoted me, she worked with Nancy (the owner of the salon) to get me the price i was originally quoted at. I wish I hadn't had to go through this ordeal as I had taken time out to meet her in person and trusted her experience and knowledge to be able to provide an accurate quote. I had recommended my sister and o go to her as well and she faced a similar situation where she was given a "max" price but after service was charged $30 more. So, either write down the price she quotes or expect to pay a little extra than what she quoted. But nonetheless, I was a happy customer walking out of the door as they honored the price she had originally quoted me and her quality of work was good. See pictures! read more

Sweet and Lashful is definitely of the cleanest salons I have visited since COVID-19 struck! Even without the pandemic, it feels like a chore trying to make it to all my different appointments, so whenever I visit my family in Atlanta, I look forward to getting everything done there. It not only saves me time and energy, but the staff has always been kind and attentive to me. The salon itself has a calm, uplifting vibe with ample amount of space to socially distance in the waiting area compared to most places, they send us consent forms via SMS so we can do it electronically from our own phones, they take our temperatures and require masks, and they seemed to have hand sanitizers at multiple areas throughout the salon for us as well. I felt pretty safe, which I can't say for every salon. I typically get a facial, lash lift, and brows shaped at Sweet and Lashful. Nancy can do it all in one go. Last week she introduced me to her hairdresser Joel who joined her staff and convinced me to try the "hair transformation package." I really love my cut and color. He is so meticulous, and my hair is coarse, so I was there for almost 5 hours, but the end result is definitely worth waiting for. I highly recommend Sweet and Lashful for all your beauty needs. I experienced getting lash lifting in other studios that my eyes burn due to the glue, but Nancy was really careful with my eyes and I felt very comfortable. I have thin lashes and Nancy lifted every little lashes of mine even the little baby lashes. It looks amazing! Her work is detailed and beautifully done. I have made a review before and I was not satisfied with the first lash lifting by another technican, but Nancy took immediately action and redo it again. The first time I got eyelash extensions was at Sweet and Lashful with Yanyse. Since it was my first time she went through the whole process with me and mad me feel very comfortable. We looked at different types of lashes and curls to decide what I liked best. She did an amazing job and they turned out exactly how we spoke about! I am so glad I came here and got the lash lift and tint! Best beauty decision ever. To me, there is no reason for the lash extensions because 1. My lashes are of average length and would look fake if they were any longer, 2. Extensions can damage your eyelashes even if they are applied correctly, 3. The lift and tint is like a quarter of the price! I have strawberry blonde lashes so I have always struggled with getting mascara all the way to the roots so I could always see a little blonde peeking though. No longer! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I came to get my eyebrows done and while the tech was very kind, the work was subpar. She began with razoring my eyebrows but there was a lot of hair left and the shape was lacking. We went over to wax but still, there was a ton of hair left. It got to the point where I just knew I wasn't going to get a clean shape so I let it go. And it was now over waxing on my skin. I've never had an eyebrow wax take 45 minutes before so I was a bit exhausted at that point. I went home and had to tweeze and finish shaping my eyebrows myself. I've never had an experience where I've had to do that before. The razor/shape wasn't terrible, I do think that with time and practice the tech will certainly become better. Let me start by saying I'm only giving 2 stars because the salon/spa is very cute and my technician was very nice, but I am very unhappy with the results of my service. I made an appt. for a lift & tint plus eyebrow wax and my lashes look exactly the same as they did before. Straight. I wasted my entire morning and $150 plus tip to look exactly the same and I'm upset about it. As soon as the technician began removing pads, the excuses started - your lashes are short, they could be healthier, I used the smallest pad, etc. If that's the case, you should have been honest and upfront with me and told me that I would be unhappy with the results. I would have gladly paid a cancellation fee versus being out of pocket $150 for zero results. Or better yet, why wasn't another service recommended that I would be happy with? If the lift wasn't going to work for me, offer extensions so I could have gotten some result for my money. I'm very disappointed and will not return. It seems like this place values money/transactions over the customer. I would have gladly been a customer if they were honest and offered me services better suited for my situation. It's a double-blow because I just wanted to feel pampered and pretty and now I feel and look as plain as I looked before and feeling like a dope for spending my money on something so useless. read more

It's difficult for me to find eyelash tinting services, as most salons/studios do only eyelash extensions and the like. So when I saw on Sweet and Lashful's website that they do eyelash tinting, I couldn't wait to check them out. Making the appointment was a breeze. They returned my call right away and fit me into their busy Saturday schedule. Then they followed up with a confirmation text. The studio is elegant and immaculate. I was welcomed warmly at the front desk, and then I was introduced to Monica. She consulted with me on which color would look best on me rather than just going for a standard deep black, and she explained why. Throughout the rest of the process, she explained every step. She even did my lower lashes, which no one has ever done for me before. Overall, the session lasted longer than I'm accustomed to, but when I saw the results, I couldn't have cared less. Not only were my eyes NOT stinging afterward (as I'm accustomed to), but also, I didn't have the "raccoon eyes" I normally have right after an eyelash tinting. Bonus: She offered to give me a couple of complimentary lash extensions to even out the lash volume for both eyes. I declined, but what a sweet offer! Services Taken : Skin Care Omg... Arpana is simply amazing! I have rarely experienced a facial this good and I am a facial enthusiast. The few other times I have fond memories of a relaxing facial was years ago, when I was in Florida. I went in for her recommended facial after she spent time assessing my skin and asking what were my skin goals. I really appreciated her explaining her process to me and its benefits and answering all my questions. Not only was the facial lovely, I got a lot of tips on how to care for my unique skin issues. She also made recommendations for step by step future skin care, peels etc. My skin looked and felt great and I definitely will be returning. The spa is trendy and has a clean fresh feel to it.
