This definitely takes off a star, as if you're at a juice/smoothie place Im gonna assume you are trying to be healthy, and sugar is the worst inflammatory, feeding cancer and pathogens. Sigh. I wouldn't say dont go but I would say here is proof we have to always ask sourcing and ingredients. He let us sample other smoothies as he made them for other customers in front of us. The juices are made in front of you so you know it's fresh. The store was clean and he actually wore gloves while making our drinks! We bought the Jamaican Cocktail and The Green Life. The Green Life was the perfect picker upper for someone who isn't feeling well. The Jamaican Cocktail is more on the sweet side and contains protein to fill you up. This establishment is very clean and the staff always wears gloves while handling food. The inside decor offers islands vibes with limited indoor and outdoor seating. The Cafe sells a few novelty items and other knick-knacks of a limited variety. I have never tasted food from here but I've heard many customers rave about the patties. The menu boards are hand written, easy to read, informative and colorful. This restaurant makes sure to itemize what each smoothie consists of and what add-in's or alternatives/substitutions can be made. A few of my favorite smoothies include: MelonBall, the Energizer, Paradise Punch, Island Surprise, Blue Breeze, and Tropic Bliss. The staff always has you taste your smoothie before leaving to allow for any changes or modifications to be made to fit each customers taste. If the restaurant is busier you may be lucky enough to sample something new while waiting. The staff is always friendly, kind, and attentive. The restaurant is fairly small so it can get a little crowded and confusing during their busiest hours. Service is not always the fastest, especially on shorter staffed days, however, whatever the wait may be, the taste is always worth it. read more
