Good pathogen breeding ground. No air conditioning (they could size a system to keep it at least 80f if they don't want to spend a lot) and add uv lamps in the ductwork air handlers to kill airborne pathogens for good measure. Additionally they need to be wiping down the equipment and the mats once a day. They could increase fees to cover this and the customer and staff experience will be much better and healthier.

After her first class in beginner level, she was moved up. Guess she wasn't actually evaluated in summer camp like they said.... As she continued to move up I noticed bad attitudes from the coaches like they couldn't be bothered. After a few months we withdrew and went elsewhere.

The teachers are friendly, knowledgable and great with the kids. The boys are learning a lot and gaining strength, coordination and flexibility. Seating could be better - it gets a little crowded. The most recent meet on Jan 18 was horrible. It went way over the expected time, they crammed us all into this tiny space where we had to stand for half an hour to wait for "the results". Then the gymnasts were running around with no supervision, jumping all over the makeshift "stage" and ruining some of the placement tags. By this time the kids were starving and some of us in the audience saw one of the coaches eating a pizza in front of everyone. We all just stood there watching her.but she was oblivious.Not a good look. Then finally, someone explained the reason for the delay (their computer system went down so they had to calculate the scores manually). Then more waiting. When the winners were finally announced, the person announcing had no microphone. She just yelled out the names while nervously flipping thru all her papers. It was all done so haphazardly, Coaches were running all over the place like chickens with their heads cut off. Nobody had a clue. Like I said, they need to dip into that stockpile of money they make off of us and invest in a professional event coordinator. Cmon guys. Get it together will ya? Parents are getting fed up with this.

But the younger kids seemed to have fun. Then everyone moved the the gymnastics portion of the gym. The kids were able to use two trampolines and the foam pit. One trampoline had a hole/was broken, so I think there would have been even more jumping action for the kids if it had been fixed. I really liked the gymnastics portion and would consider it for a future birthday party. The cost is quite high, and it doesn't include any type of food or beverage. You are able to order or bring your own, but then the cost is of course even higher. The biggest problem I had, was that at least three children became sick a couple of days later. My child being one of them. I hope they do some deep cleaning, especially now. But this needs to occur at least once a week in order to help keep kids healthy, since many come in for classes all week long.

We visited Bayside Sports Academy to attend a birthday party for my friend's child. This is a HUGE…read moregym located inside of a warehouse. There is so much room to run around in and lots of apparatuses to try, whether you're there for free play or for formal gymnastics training. There is also a Ninja Warrior themed area, with obstacles from the show for you to try. Because we were there for a birthday party, you get two chaperones who stay with your group and show the kids how to use the equipment. They didn't set up any particular obstacle or activity for the group to do together, so parents just had to supervise their kids (or run around with them as well) around the gym. My husband and I got yelled at a few times because we managed to get into the areas we were NOT supposed to go (the Ninja Warrior equipment and the inflatable slide, which has designated times for use). We had our own area for eating and storing presents for the birthday girl. After we ate, the chaperones finished our birthday session at the inflatable slide. Not the smartest order after our kids stuffed themselves with pizza and cake, but the kids had fun nonetheless. This was a fun, HUGE, and clean facility to use for a birthday party. Seems like a reputable place to enroll your kids or yourself in for gymnastics and other tumbling sports.

I took my dog to the dog park at this location for the first time on Saturday. Overall it was fine, but I definitely wish it had more grass vs. all dirt! Eventually more dogs and owners showed up so my dog was pumped! They did have a dog drinking fountain which is great but as dogs drank and flung water, it then made the dirt quickly turn into mud! They provided some benches and tables which was nice! Overall it was fine! My dog played with other dogs and loved it so I'd say that's a win!

Wow, I was surprised to see all the low ratings on this gym, considering that I've only had a…read morepositive experience after being here for a few months. Yes, I have seen frequent changes in coaches, but we've been fortunate to have had 2 excellent coaches, Tara and Cassidy. I'm also surprised to see low ratings, knowing that Premier has placed high in many team competitions in the last 4 years that my daughter has been a competitive gymnast with other local gyms. The facility itself is nice, offering bleachers to sit in to observe your gymnast during practice. They are a bit hard and don't have backings, so it can get uncomfortable after watching for over 30 minutes. The bathrooms are generally clean. WI Fi is available so you can be on your device while waiting. They've always been very accommodating and flexible, scheduling my daughters for private lessons. The reason I chose private lessons is because that's the first star dock: classes fill up quickly, and the levels offered for my kids' skill set are limited to availability, which is practically nothing conducive to my schedule. They do skill evaluations every 8 weeks to see if your child is ready to move up a level. This is nice so you can see your child progress. My only other complaint is that the parking situation can be tight. There is parking on the back and sides of the building, but traffic can get heavy coming in and out of the parking lot, making it difficult for you to drop your kid off. Other than that, the parent portal is easy to navigate, and you can see payments due, evaluations, and makeup classes available. They do team try outs in April, so we'll see how they do handling competition season. Otherwise, I'm happy with the switch from our previous gym, which was awesome, but the location was inconvenient, so that's why we came to Premier.
