Tasty taco truck with bold flavors, but a bit pricey for what you get…read more Jalapeño Express is a small food truck parked in a dental office lot, with a few casual tables nearby and a speaker strapped to the truck for ambiance. It's a one-person operation, so service can be a bit slow, but the food feels authentically made with care. We ordered the 2 burritos, 2 tacos, and a drink deal. Burritos are medium-sized, comparable to Chipotle, and while one is enough for me, the full combo would just satisfy a bigger appetite. The burritos were a bit soggy and could've been more generously filled. The tacos were the stars -- palm-sized but packed with flavor. The tripa taco was perfectly fatty and crispy, while the lengua was soft and flavorful. I'd come back for the tacos over the burritos. Drinks are self-serve from a cooler in front of the truck. There are two self-serve salsas -- a fresh green one and a spicier red; I preferred the red for its kick. Price-wise, it's on the higher end for a taco truck, which might be a drawback for some. Still, the taste delivers. If you're not in a rush and want a casual, no-frills taco stop with strong flavors, Jalapeño Express is worth trying.

My son and I had steak burritos served by two young men that were in the trailer very friendly. We sat outside on some picnic bunches, listening to the Spanish music. It is good not great as I come from Chicago where we have 1 million taco burrito joints also for two burritos $31 seemed a little expensive but again it was decent.

The Mamasama team made it so easy -- from building the menu, to setting up and cooking, to serving the food/wine during the meal and managing all of the cleanup. The team has such great energy they added to the whole night...not just with food, but also with their presence. We built an amazing menu (see the images) -- crowd favorites were the the pumpkin aranchini, porchini mushroom pasta and the homemade tiramisu. We had leftover meatballs the next day and they were just as good as the night of the party. I would highly recommend catering with Mamasama. It will be an experience you and your guests will not forget.

They're only available on the weekends after 5PM and we had to wait a month to go. Yelpers were raving about their Ragu dish. Their menu is very limited and by looking at the pictures, that Ragu definitely caught my eye. I'm a meat eater and this plate has chunks of beef so I ordered it. Come to find out, they change the meat and pasta often so the meat they put in Ragu that night was ground beef (like bolognese) and the pasta was the large macaroni type. Very disappointed to say the least. Steak chunks in parpadelle pasta just like what they served prior would have been five stars! My wife's pasta dish was also changed to gnocchi which she didn't care for. We definitely went on a wrong night, but what can you do if your reservation is still a month away? The only thing I enjoyed was the tiramisu. Light and not too sweet. Service was slow although our server was friendly and accommodating. Mamasamas is only available for dinner and maybe because it's cooler at night. The place had fans running throughout and windows open. Not sure if it has air conditioning.

You can also make any of the burgers using Beyond Meat! We ordered: +the Mercury - made with 2 patties of grass-fed halal beef, yellow American cheese, caramelized onions, crunchy potatoes, Galaxy sauce, Rocket Sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on a potato bun +Cosmic Fries - shoestring fries with house seasoning and Parmesan, served with a side of Cosmic sauce The burgers were described as 'smashburgers', so the patties were cooked all the way through (which I prefer!); the burger itself was actually okay, but there was something in there that made it taste slightly off - either it was the caramelized onions, the Galaxy sauce, or the Rocket sauce, there was something that was a bit too sugary/sweet; I think without this element, the burger would have been better! Maybe I'd ask for the sauces to be served on the side. The fries were okay - they did fill the styrofoam box to the brim and was generous in serving two cups of the Cosmic sauce; I think these could have been dropped fresh, as when we received them, they seemed as if they were prepared in advance and was sitting for a bit. Service was super friendly and welcoming! It's located off of Zetts, just down from Touchless Car Wash; note that this area can get jampacked and backed up on the weekends where everyone is trying to get their vehicle washed! Getting in and out can be a bit of a pain, and there are some temporary parking available. +friendly service! +located down from touchless Car Wash +off road parking available

I ordered online for takeout and got the Mercury combo (Mercury burger & cosmic fries) for 15$ and the Venus wings for 135. The mercury burger was by far my favorite item I had but i was expecting that it would be a little bigger with the price tag but I ain't mad at it, it was still a great burger nonetheless. The cosmic fries were below average and that could stem from the way the fries are made (shoestring style) but even then the seasoning on it was nothing special. The cosmic fries came with a cosmic sauce that was great and was a perfect addition to the burger. The Venus wings were solic with pretty good texture but ridiculously overpriced with a price tag of 13$ for 5 wings which is a scam, if you charging 15$ for wings they gotta be the best wings ever (they weren't). The Buffalo sauce that comes with the wings was definitely hot and the bba and ranch were decent. All in all, it's a solid spot that ! could see myself coming back to for their Mercury burger.

I'm not sure that that helped me understand this menu any better but, I asked him for a recommendation. He said that the tropical pollo ($10) was their award-winning dish. The meat - steak, chicken, or pork (which they were out of) - is served on a taco, in a wrap, or on a hoagie. The meals come with a side - fries, fresh tortilla chips, or cilantro lime slaw. The tropical pollo consisted of bourbon marinated chicken, cilantro lime slaw, pineapple salsa, and chipotle remoulade. As one who doesn't like a lot of sauces or soggy food, I asked for the remoulade sauce on the side. My meal was ready quickly and it looked delicious! The tortillas were stuffed and the fries were skinny! I took a bite of the taco without the sauce and the chicken was nicely marinaded but it needed more flavor, salt, in particular. The pineapple salsa was good but the cilantro slaw wasn't distinct enough to stand out. To add more flavor, I added some of the chipotle remoulade. The sauce had a little kick to it! Unfortunately, between the sauce, the juice from the meat, and the slaw, the tortillas were soggy, with juice lining the bottom the carton. The best part of the meal was the side. The fries were really good - thinly cut and crispy but not hard. Open for about a year, Wauga Wauga has a unique name, some interesting combinations, and a very friendly owner. Based on this experience, I won't be looking to find the truck any time soon but if I happen to run into it, I may try a different meat option.
