Cold brew

Quick coffee meet up. Delicious cold brew, had mine with dark chocolate flavor and oat milk, it was yummy. Cute place, baked goods available too. Service was fast and friendly. Variety of seating options inside and outside.

Found this on the map when looking for local coffee spots. Had some good reviews overall and decided to try. Small but perfect for a short visit if you want to work on small items or just passing through. Not a large volume of options, but actually not a bad thing. Keeps it simple. Customer service was very friendly and comfortable. Tried the 12 ounce Lucky Bomb and was made to order with light ice. Simple enough and hit the spot. Will definitely visit again when nearby or as an option.

I am looking around Jacksonville to find the best coffee place for drink and relaxation. The Lucky goat was the next stop om my list. The interior was inviting. I was torn between the coconut/ Carmel latte and my traditional Chai latte. I chose wisely and I'm glad I did. The chai latte had it. It even came with a splash of cinnamon on the top. It was nice and frothy with the whole milk. I also got a flaky and buttery croissant that I was eating while reviewing. The Lucky Goat is right around yhe corner from my 3rd job. Yes, I have 3 jobs. Lucky Goat hit a bullseye. There were not over friendly while I was snapping pictures. I love that. Nice service, tasty treats and an oh so good latte!

Quaint little coffee shop on the south side of Jax near Baymeadows. Came here to kill some time I had before a client meeting. Support your local coffee shops! Service and atmosphere was clean and chill.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast--well, mostly because we desperately needed caffeine as kids moved from the Orlando area to Jacksonville. We grabbed three drinks for us "movers," and every single one hit the mark. I ordered the Snowflake Crunch, a vanilla hazelnut concoction that was soft, creamy, and absolutely perfect to the palate. I had it warm, and it was exactly what I needed. My son ordered the matcha with strawberry syrup, and in his words, it was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, with just enough flavor to clearly taste both the matcha and the strawberry. His fiancée went with the peppermint mocha, which she said was exactly what she expected and very enjoyable. We also tried the breakfast bites--the bacon gruyère frittatas (much better than Starbucks, by the way) and the spinach feta, and both were really, really good. Five stars all around for drinks, food, and service. As for ambiance: pets aren't allowed inside, but service dogs are welcome, which we appreciated. There's also a lovely outdoor patio where you can sit--we even spotted a few pets out there, including our own Tiny Coco. Definitely a great stop for quality coffee and a quick bite.

The coffee here is amazing! I can tell it is a good, medium roasted coffee, full of flavor without that burnt taste. Its a great place to come together or just work. Ambiance is very relaxing here. Service is great and always consistent.

Lucky Goat consistently delivers. The service is always efficient and friendly. You walk in with a warm welcome which has now become a rarity in a lot of places. The coffee also does not disappoint. Lattes are rich, smooth, and milk is silkened well every time. Their standard is 12 oz so they aren't too milky. I get a cortado if I'm feeling something more coffee forward. It's become one of our go-to spots in Jacksonville because we know we can count on a great experience, whether we're grabbing a quick cup or settling in for a moment. Another bonus is their outdoor patio which is dog friendly so bring your fur babies!

Lucky Bomb Cold Brew and a small sample of the hot coffee brewed fresh that morning!

Great coffee spot! We stopped in for a cup before heading to the bookstore. The menu isn't huge, but it seems like what they do, they do well. I ordered the Lucky Bomb Cold Brew. I believe it had vanilla cinnamon, and an extra shot of espresso. It was delicious and I absolutely would recommend. They also had a station where you could get yourself a small little coffee while you waited for your coffee, which was a very nice touch. I did get myself a small little coffee while I was waiting, but my coffee came out so fast that I didn't even have time to take a single sip of the small coffee.

Cute little coffee shop with a good amount of seating and a really intriguing menu! Usually I don't care much for coffee or pastries but I wanted to try almost everything here, especially their seasonal menu! I ended up trying the yuzu coconut matcha lemonade, and it was perfect for the summer! So refreshing, and the yuzu came in strong without being too tart. The coconut was more subtle but still delicious. I also tried the ube cheese roll just because I haven't seen anything like it before. It's a pretty typical roll with something similar to cream cheese and covered in ube powder. It was good in that the bread was so soft, the sweet cream cheese was delicious, and the ube powder gave a subtle and sweet flavor. But it didn't blow my mind or anything. It kinda just tastes like what you would expect. Workers were super friendly though, and they work pretty fast!

I've seen this name pop up on some of the Florida coffee shop accounts I follow. I've only had the pleasure of visiting once but I plan to frequent more often. It's so conveniently located and easy to pop into on my way to the Town Center. The place has a great vibe--it's super clean and nicely decorated, making it a really pleasant spot to relax for a bit. I'm a big fan of their lavender latte; it's my regular order and they always make it perfectly. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They are all so attentive and friendly, which makes a huge difference. If you're looking for a great local coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere and delicious drinks, you have to check out Lucky Goat! I plan to try one of the food items next time.

The drink was very good and my friend got the strawberry and cream kolache warmed which was very tasty, the service needed some help. Now granted I will say as a disclaimer it was the Fourth of July and we did end up having a 3 hr meeting, but we did purchase multiple drinks and treats throughout the stay. The inside is very nice and clean. There was one staff member that refused to take our dish from the front counter as we had already noticed they had cleaned up the dish bucket, she kept pointing to us to take it and put it in the bucket, like we were being an inconvenience by helping out. That and the short way she spoke to us when we were ordering prior was my main turn off. Over all the food and drinks were good but the service from this one server in particular definitely needs to improve.

Staff was nice and coffee was okay. It's definitely more coffee forward. The drinks we got didn't really have much of the flavors we ordered in them. It just tasted like espresso. That's okay if you like that, but I like my drinks a little sweeter.

II stopped in for this first time this weekend & was very warmly greeted by the staff. The barista who took my order asked if it was my first visit & offered recommendations. I decided on the Luckyccino, a cold brew with vanilla & cream. The barista asked if I wanted it with a flavored cold brew, so I went with the current featured flavor, Goat Tracks (chocolate & caramel). It was a great choice! I did not get a snack this time but they had some delicious looking options to pick from. The barista explained that all of the goodies come from local Jax bakeries.

The parking right in front isn't the best but there is ample parking in the shops surrounding the business. The environment was lowkey with several patrons on laptops or catching up with friends. I had no idea what I wanted but definitely wanted to try their drinks and a biscuit. I ended up having them customize an iced caramel latte and ordering a cheddar and cheese biscuit. Everything tasted amazingggg. The biscuit was fresh and I didn't feel heavy after eating it. The latte had the perfect amount of sweetness. Both items complemented each other well and the pricing was very fair. They do sell their own coffee and it seemed like everyone had a cup. I think one of the better things about it is the drive-thru for people who don't want to get out the car. I am confident enough to use the drive-thru now that I have a go-to order. I rate this place a 10/10 and I will definitely be back to try some of the pastries and different coffee flavors.

Which is frustrating, specially when you've been craving something specific from them. I've ordered from the kiosk and an actual person before and the order ends up being wrong. Ever since new ownership took over, I feel like the quality of this place has gone down. Or at least the quality of the food has gone down. The shredded turkey isn't even the same anymore. sliced turkey is no longer the same, you can tell it is from a packaged brand, the one that they use now definitely changes the flavor of the bagel XL. The other day I ordered a bagel XL with sliced turkey, egg, cheese, and cream cheese,l and when I got home it wasn't the sliced turkey but the turkey patty. When I I got home I called them and advised them it was the wrong order. They said to bring it back, and they would make the right one, which they did. But driving back and forth 15 mins each way to go pick it up and exchange it because they wrong is a bit of hassle. Also, it seems like their ordering system is also always printing out the wrong order. And then a few days later I placed an order for delivery and the drink was wrong. I had ordered the peach drink and I got some berry one. I also order a plain bagel with cream cheese for someone and it barely had any cream cheese.

Can't believe it's taken me around 2 and a half years to get here for a visit since I got back to…read moreJAX! As many of my friends know, I'm a coffee kook - just got the addiction! Well, this will be my 49th review on a coffee shop and I'm very happy to cover Grounds of Grace! First and foremost, yes, it's a shop that exists to provide service to customers with excellent hot and cold beverages. However, its main reason for existence is ministry. Yes, it's a ministry to the community in that it brings our young people in to learn the coffee business, along with many other ministry activities in the community. It also sports a large bus outside the building in the parking lot. It's not there for decor. It's also used to provide ministry throughout the area as well. How in the world did I get the feeling I wanted to ride the Sunday School but that took me to church when I was a young kiddo again! Yeah, that brought back the memories! Grounds of Grace started up in 2020 (during Covid of all things). But the building came to existence around 2023. There is much to appreciate in the work and positive effect they have on others - I saw some of that during my visit. Yes, I did visit to grab a coffee beverage too! The day was warm so I departed from my usual hot white latte and went with a spring specialty offering. Katie, the fantastic barista who assisted me, told me about the specialty menu and I saw immediately that I had to get the strawberry cheesecake white mocha latte!! I took the frap version. But this is key! I mentioned the drink probably has a high sugar content, and YES it does! However, the shop will offer to make it for you with half the sugar, which I chose. Truthfully, I was delicious! That's because I could really taste the coffee and other flavors blended evenly together. Make sure you ask for the half sugar on their specialty drinks if you wish for a lower sugar content. On another note, I really love the interior of Grounds of Grace. They have a pretty large space in their building with varied seating from chairs, half couches, elevated seating, and regular table seating. It wasn't busy during my Saturday visit, but some folks did stop by. It's a very pleasant atmosphere with lowered-volume Christian music playing. Remember, this is a Christian ministry, but Grounds of Grace welcomes all people to come visit and enjoy what they offer. They do have a section with accessories, such as shirts, mugs, etc., it you want to purchase some and further help their ministry. I really think this is a great thing for our community and I had a wonderful time here. It was one of those moments where I felt like I a got a dose of heaven for a moment of time! Come visit Grounds of Grace! What they do for kids and the community, along with creating great coffee beverages, it's surely worth your visit! Recommend: VERY HIGH
