Finally the one girl told me it was during certain hours only. Which was kind of annoying because it was part of the reason I had chosen this place for breakfast. So no smoothie for me, which was a bad way to start off. But I tried to have an enjoyable meal anyway. And it was mediocre at best. I am a big fan of healthy food!!! My mom and son are not... but they love this place!!! I took my mom who adds salt to everything and is a picky eater and she loved it. I was surprised that she did NOT add salt and actually ate her whole meal. This is a weekly visit for me. My son loves their protein smoothies. Great spot to go to especially if health conscious! So I finally got to stop in here this wknd after I did some shopping at Trader Joe's & I gotta say me & my family were very happy with our food and the service we received. We started off with some smoothies & fresh squeezed OJ & than selected a couple of dishes from their enormous menu(which will keep me busy) I had a glazed salmon bowl that was delicious & everyone else had wraps which they were very pleased with. I placed an order at 10 am this morning to be picked up at 1pm. I get there at around 1:15 and they dont have my food. The young lady at the desk looks at me wide eyed and goes into the back to see if she can find my order. I'm asked 3 times what I ordered, I tell them and give my name and theyre still looking for my food. Finally I'm asked if I placed my order early this morning. Apparently they made my order that morning. And now its stone cold. I asked for extra turkey bacon and I literally only have 2 strips of bacon on the sandwich. Took my girl to Barta bak on smith street then got real hungry . Bartender suggested Nature's Grill on court st. We walked about 6 blocks to court and pacific. Saw a bright and clean open space, kind of quiet but we decided to go in. It was about 1030 pm and I guess they were closing but busboy was nice enough to clean a table and set us up in front. The ordering process was kind of quick as the waitress u guess was ready to go home...I ordered the Jimmy steak wrap and my girl ordered a smoothie. We wanted a juice but machine was closed or GETTING cleaned???@$! Regardless, food was great and we decided to visit again in day time. Our next visit was good, a bit crowded but good. Really really dislike this place. Gave it more than a fair share of visits! They don't listen, it's over priced and not good healthy food it claims to be. Got my last order wrong 3 times and had to send it back & by time I got it I wasn't hungry then! It's only good for smoothies! Disappointing that food comes out cold! Just meh. Menu is huge, but I feel like everything tastes the same...it's bland. My biggest peeve was ordering a bison burger for delivery, selected the seven grain and for the burger literally on sandwich bread. It's a burger...so when you offer 7 grain we assume it's a 7 grain bun. And to be honest, the price is as high if not more than Moo Burger or Bareburger and they have much higher quality. read more

I discovered Nature's Grill a few months ago and now I am in love with this place! I normally go there for lunch or after gym with my husband. I follow paleo diet and this place helps me to keep going a lot. Their salmon entree with steamed veggies is amazing. Salads there are pretty good. Usually I create my own one. Have nothing to complain about. The soups are fabulous! Moreover, smoothies and juices are good as well. The peanut butter smoothie is the one to die for. My husband didn't want to go there first because he is not crazy about all that healthy stuff. Well, he changed his mind... he normally gets that rice bawl with bison, the combo wrap (with bison, chicken and BBQ sauce), blackened chicken wrap or one of their grass-fed burgers. They have air heads working in there. The always mess up my order. I tried a few times because I thought they just made a mistake but no. They just don't know what they're doing. The location at 138 Court Street, is not worth your time or money, the other locations are better bets. The owner Tozs at the Court street location is very dishonest. The food and service is average at best. The wait is extremely long. The management and owner Tozs will not honor your Living Social vouchers. He will claim that your vouchers were already used. I contacted Living Social from his establishment; Tozs refuse to speak to them to handle my voucher situation. Living Social called back several times leaving many messages, Tozs told his staff to tell them he was not available. He never did contact Living Social, my vouchers were not used, he just refused to honor them, bad services, bad food and bad customer service experience, People please stay away from this establishment. Tosz will make believe he is trying to help you when he is not, everyone should stay away, and there is another health food restaurant across the street, with better service and food. read more

My husband and i just moved to brooklyn from los angeles. We stumbled upon this healthy eatery last night as we were walking home from the barclays center. I had the glazed salmon bowl and he had the terriyaki terrific wrap. This place reminds me of home soo much. We frequent Urth cafe in LA and cant help but feel cozy at home. Completely a waste of time and money ! Worst restaurant experience ever. I would give no stars if I could. First of all, the food is really bland and not tasty. The sweet potato fries were burnt and dry. The chicken kabob entree has a funky smell. My friend's dish Thai lettuce wrap is just bland and tasteless. They even tried to charge us more when we asked for additional sauce. Hello !?!? We ended up wrapping all our dishes and left hungry. Second, they put a 25% additional service charge on our checks, and IN ADDITION expected us to also pay gratuity, which is an obvious overcharge and against New York State Law. Clearly something they try to get away with other unsuspecting customers. My friend argued with the owner Taso V. to take the bogus criminal charges off the check and the owner refused to do nothing. However, we also know our consumer rights and when my friend suggested we call the police to resolve the issue the owner reluctantly backed down, clearly afraid of being arrested, and said to just pay for the meals and never come back. So we did just that and paid the for the meals and even a small tip for the lousy service. Right after we walked out of the door of the restaurant, the owner Taso V. ran toward us on the street shouting profanities and with an immature violent posture attempting to insult us. Upon threatening to call the police again he cowered away and limped back into his lousy establishment while practically hitting himself in his own face with his arm. Clearly trying to "fu--" himself. Ridiculous ! We came very close to calling the police and reporting this criminal, but figured he clearly had other personal problems and was so pathetic he wasn't worth our time. This place should be shut down and the owner should be arrested. Period. I would recommend never to step into this restaurant if you are in this area while there are plenty of excellent choices around. I have lived in this neighborhood for years and have never been to such a terrible establishment. Both the food and the service are among the worst of all the restaurants in the city. And the owner of the restaurant Taso V. does not respect his customers, does not have professional ethics, and participates in criminal activity in trying to take advantage of customers by blatantly and illegally overcharging them. I ate here with my friend who is on the paleo diet due to some health issues. The name of the restaurant alone "NATURE'S GRILL" proves to be a huge misconception. I used to come to this place to eat because it was a huge leap from neighboring restaurants, however, you do not get the quality fresh, natural foods the way you think. My friend ordered sweet potato fries and called and asked beforehand if they were coated with anything, and she was assured that they were purely sweet potatoe. Naturally, when we went there, she ordered it, and again, for reassurance, asked the waiter if they were coated with anything because she had food allergies and needed to be careful & he to claimed that it was just sweet potato. After ingesting them, she started to get flushed in her face and complained about stomach pains. It wasn't till then that she RE-ASKED the waiter what was in the fries, and he answered "to be honest, we buy the sweet potatoes already made in a package." HELLO! if that doesn't scream out processed food then I don't know what does! Is this just presented better than your local McDonald's? DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU WANT QUALITY HEALTHY FOOD. I just ordered a smoothie with pineapple, banana, orange, almond milk & vanilla protein, but all I could taste is the vanilla protein and almond milk. I went back to tell them and the lame excuse I got was that vanilla protein usually overpowers the taste of the fruits. As I sit waiting for my replacement burger, after waiting an hour to receive the wrong order, I thought I'd share my thoughts. First of all, my apartment number which is quite clear on my receipt and my account was misprinted on the delivery person's order, so he searched 15 minutes before he realized it was the wrong apartment and phoned me. By this time, the food had a chance to get nice and COLD. Then, I opened the burger and it was not prepared according to my requests on the Seamless Web menu. I called the restaurant to ask them what could be done, and I was very curtly informed that they could send another burger, but the incorrect order would have to be returned. I laughed because the thought of eating both - well, it just amused me. It has now been 45 minutes since my call, and 1 hour and 35 minutes since my original order was placed. I called, annoyed that a flier placed on my windshield had turned to muck in the rain. Granted, I probably shouldn't have hung up right after making my comment, but I did. The manager called me back and said that I was "fucking ignorant" for hanging up on him when he was going to offer me a free car wash. He then said I was a "fucking fag" and hung up on me. I called back and said that I was indeed a "fag," and that I did not appreciate his use of the term. In the end, he apologized for calling me a "fucking fag" (after I demanded an apology) and did reimburse me for a car wash, but still? Do I really need to be called names in my own neighborhood?
