Blown away by the customer service I experienced when I went in there! I don't really know anything about rocks or jewelry but I needed a custom bracelet (tunneling through a rock so that the leather band goes through it and the rock lays flat against her wrist) made for my girlfriend's birthday. I told Mary my idea and found out that the rock I selected tends to fracture easily when cut. But she said she would try it anyways. Not only was it ready in less than 24 hours, but it came out perfectly! Being able to go in there with an idea and see it come to fruition was incredible! And not only that, but to be helped by a friendly staff with plenty of products and options available for the right price made me such a happy customer! Came here in the summer while visiting Austin after hearing about this place from a friend and was literally blown away upon entering. I was told from the lady at the counter that Nature's treasures was the biggest crystal store in the nation. Coming from the east coast I don't find that hard to believe. The store was filled from floor to celling w crystals and overflowed out the back door to the extra space in the back. Was greeted warmly by the employees and left to browse at ease. Employees were super friendly and helpful when approached. Nothing but good vibes, definitely worth a visit. read more

I've been living in Austin and going to natures treasures for the past three years, it was always my favorite store in Austin because the prices were always great compared to all these other places that wanted to charge an arm and a leg for crystals, today that all changed, unfortunately it seems the prices have gotten ridiculously high, not to mention the quality in customer service, where there are so many people working and yet they're not working and not really friendly, it's so disappointing and it just makes me sad that I will no longer be purchasing from this store. read more

Incredibly rude staff. Out of the dozen employees in the main building, only one was nice. The rest were rude and discourteous. Never had so many employees be so snippy and nasty in one place. We had absolutely no problem with the aggressive Covid protocols and complied completely. That was not the issue, although it could have been. We watched them eviscerate an elderly man who wasn't complying perfectly. They were so nasty in how they dealt with him that he finally left. I get it. They need to enforce their rules, but jeez. Anyway, didn't affect us directly. We made a very large purchase there, but had to try to check out at three different registers with unpleasant or poor service at each. It's like they didn't want to make a sale. You'd think they'd be nicer to people spending hundreds of dollars. I was this close to walking out several times, but I had children with me who would have been so disappointed. Really ruined a nice family outing with their uncle. Interesting rocks of all sizes, but not worth it to have to deal with the people. I'll never set foot in there again. read more

Holy rocks! They have everything you could ever want or need. I came in for four particular stones... I thought it would be a quick in and out type of stop. Oh, it was not. I managed to become engrossed in all they had to share and offer. Very large, beautiful quartz and amethyst. Diamonds and rubies in the raw. Jewelry, sage, Palo Santo, candles, ever-y-thing. I eventually asked for help on what I was looking for. The gentleman that helped was quick and showed me all of the different options. I got what I needed. Plus some. It was a wondrous experience. So, I wouldn't say I'm really into the "woo woo" stuff. I just like stuff that looks cool or smells good. I wanted to check this place out because it's really close to where I live and I've always been a bit curious about it. First of all, you can bring your dog in, which is pretty cool. The selection is amazing and super extensive and diverse. There's a decent range of prices, and a lot of their selections are pretty affordable. The store overall has a nice welcoming vibe. There is a lot of New Age-y stuff, but I wouldn't say it's enough to be off-putting to those who aren't into it or may not know much about crystals. Will NEVER shop hear again! I placed my order July 17th. Before I realized, it was August 11th and I'd not received my order. I called and was unable to reach anyone by phone. I sent an email Aug. 11th requesting an explanation. Later that day, they send a message simply stating my order was being delivered. I responded and requested an explanation for the delay. They never provided one. Nor did they offer any apology, i.e. "sorry, that's not the experience we intend for our customers to have and please accept a _% discount off your next order." No nothing! I finally received my order on Aug. 18th! There are too many vendors out there who respect and appreciate their customers. This vendor can kick rocks! Customer service is HORRIBLE! This is not the energy I want to be connected with!!! read more

For me being a rock collector, this place was amazing. I got 7 gemstones/minerals for 18$. Granted, I did get an Easter Egg saying I had a 15% discount and a piece of rose quartz, but either way, it was awesome. Customer service was spectacular and prices were reasonable. The rocks I bought specifically, were fuchsite for 4$, a RAW sapphire for $3, lepidolite in a box for 4$, a small piece of marcasite for $.25, a white opal for $.50 (raw was 3$), and some kyanite and celestite in selenite and black tourmaline for 8$. I came in to bring some rocks to see what they were. I recommend this place for everyone. I will say this though. I do show the prices of the things I bought for being really cheap, but some stuff in there was expensive. A quartz crystal about the size of a computer mouse was 30+ dollars, and ammolite the size of your knuckle to your fingernail was 23$. So yeah. Visit the place, but don't fall for the overpriced things. read more

Similar to other reviews recently, I was not pleased with this place. At first I was greeted politely & very excited to support local, as well as find everything my mind and body has needed. However, I started realizing the prices were way too high (and I'm all for paying for what you get; that's not the problem) and the customer service was TERRIBLE. The small, young woman who checked me out was unbelievably rude & left a foul taste in my mouth. That's certainly not how you should feel after leaving such a place of "healing." I went to the shop and was immediately bombarded by one of the employees who insisted my mask be raised higher, despite what my mask looked like to him it was not going to fall below my nose. Later in my shopping, I had my head down to look closer at some crystals and the SAME employee approached me and insisted my mask be pulled up higher. It was NOT falling down, nor was it any lower than when I entered. I am extremely disappointed this behavior exists... This shop is selling spirituality and resources for spiritual awakening and wearing masks completely goes against what they are selling. Based on the responses from the owner on the other negative reviews, she does not value customer service. The vibration of the shop employees was extremely low... if anyone does want to purchase their crystals, etc.; I'd recommend giving them a thorough cleansing as that energy may attach itself to the crystals and other items. Just left there with my wife in tears. The level of disrespect towards her and my son who are deaf and rely on lip reading and sign language to communicate. We completely understand social distance and mask policies as I taken my two youngest to the restroom she had lowered her mask to explain different crystals to my son, when the door person came across the store to demand she raise her mask back up. My wife tried to explain with her disability and his, she needed to lower her mask to allow him to read her lips. The lady wouldn't even listen to what my wife was trying to tell her. Completely embarrassing her and my son in front of everyone there. Guess according to a previous post they specialize in Zen, guess that doesn't apply to people with hearing disabilities. Very rude associates, will not be returning. And suggest if you have a hearing disability that you find your "Zen" elsewhere. read more

This place has cool rocks. I know - there is more to it than that. Some of you are probably balancing chakras and decreasing stress, awakening your inner eye - all with a chunk of celestial feldspar ; ) All joking aside, they do have some nice jewelry, stones/gemstones. However, I think they could do with better customer service and new refund/return policy. My partner bought me a moonstone ring and within 6 weeks - the gemstone had come apart from the setting. When he visited to tell them, ring and receipt in hand - they basically said there was nothing they could help him with, not even resetting stone, as his 30 days were up. Okay, sell us something shoddy and then "stick to your rules" - no matter what? We took it as a warning to not come back, they don't seem to value customer satisfaction over money. Then, a girlfriend purchased an $80+ crystal lamp from them, took it home and within a few days - tried to return it. The lamp was costly, the light fixture was CRAP and had electrical wiring issues that caused it to turn on and off. Lastly, the crystal was getting black spots on it within just a day or two of using it. I was with my friend when she tried to return it. She explained that she had called in and talked to a manager as soon as she noticed the problems and they confirmed she could return it. The two employees that attempted to assist her where stern and not friendly, explaining that even though it wasn't on the receipt, they had a "no refund" policy. They pointed out a tiny sign on the counter that could have easily been covered up at the time of her purchase. Then , a 3rd employee rudely stated that she had been the employee my friend had talked to on the phone. That employee then asserted that my friend was lying and that she had not said on phone that she could return it, but that should could exchange it. My gal pal is the most honest person I know and the whole incident was just horrible to witness. Why would my friend want to exchange her product for another crappy product? At that point, she has lost faith in the product, and what the F is she going to do with $80 in store credit? Buy a basket of rocks? Um, no thanks. I think they should burn some sage or clear some auras around there.... along with using their brains for each scenario instead of hiding behind a hardline, money making "no refund" policy. Keep it up - this is how places eventually lose customers and shut down. Update - 3.3.15 I stand by my previous review, but need to update that the owner allowed my friend to do a 50% credit/%50 refund situation, which made her a little happier. Personally, I won't be going back, but was glad to hear they ended up being better than we originally thought. read more

Just walked in this place about a half hour ago and had an unpleasant experience. The place has a lot of stuff. Mostly a bunch of glossy tumbled rocks and various chunks of crystal. Not a lot of literature nearby to help explain the properties and usual purposes for them. I have a collaborative project to work on and came here because of the reviews and the size of the place. Better chance of finding what I need. So I thought. Most of the women working there would not make eye contact with me. Towards the end of my tour I noticed that I was being followed. Felt reminiscent of my high school years being tailed by store security making sure I wasn't stealing. When I asked the woman for help she said she didn't know what to tell me. I said I was looking for something that represented masculinity and she told me that we all have some femininity in us then told me again that she didn't know what to tell me. WTH??? She never offered any suggestions nor did she lead me to any stones or metals that appealed to, embodied or represented masculinity. She just told me that I would have to find it myself. I kind of took her advice and am now finding another shop for help. I can't help but feel that I might have had a more welcoming experience if I was smaller, feminine or maybe if I had just sported some tie-dye or rope sandals? ...Something something book something something cover... Update: I was able to get what I was looking for an hour later at Crystal Works! Environment was a ton better and the staff was very friendly. They even had signs next to each different stone/crystal displaying the properties associated with them. I didn't have to ask but they were willing to tell me anyway. Smudge sticks were priced WAY better, nobody was tailing me, no unintelligible responses or dirty looks and no dark feeling from Crystal Works (experienced at NT) either. I really hate that I am writing this but I feel it is important to do so. My boyfriend and I visit Natures Treasure several times a month and continually buy items from them. I have also sat with a medium and had a wonderful experience. Each time I go into Natures Treasure I am always overwhelmed with such a special feeling inside my chest. This store is truly special.. That being said what I experienced today sadly has turned my opinion on them the other way around. I purchased two sterling silver rings a few months ago, one was a beautiful abalone ring and the other was a amethyst. These two rings meant a lot to me. Recently the stones fell out and unfortunately I can not find either of the stones. I brought both of the rings to the store today hoping there was something that could be done. The girl I spoke with went to the back to speak to a manager, came back to say since you do not have receipt there is really nothing we can do. She also mentioned with wearing the rings regularly this could happen. I can understand this happening if the rings were about $10 a piece but these rings were close to $50 a piece and I had them for maybe 3 months. I also did not wear them all the time as I have other rings to choose from to wear. I completely understand that needing a receipt is necessary for situations like this. But with it being a few months ago, papers get thrown out. Call me crazy but I started to tear up once she told me there wasn't much she can do. Its sad that so easily some places can accept your money quickly but once there is a problem with the item you purchased all they can say is sorry, no receipt. no help.. If it wasn't for needing a gift today I probably wouldn't of purchased what I did. Unfortunately I will begin to take my business else where. This was the last place I'd imagine customer service being iffy but it has come to that in my situation. read more

Nature's Treasures is a breath of fresh air. You walk in and almost always are greeted by the friendly people that work there. They have the largest selection of crystals, rocks and gemstones that I have seen, and at a great price! They have a nice variety of jewlery and a ton of random neat findings.The staff are always more than helpful, they genuinely care about you finding what you are looking for. Wow! Very impressed. Great prices and a !massive! inventory, you can really find anything here. They have crystals, statues, incense, oils, jewelry, candles, clearing tools, an outdoor area filled with big stones, and a whole second building! I've found my most unique and treasured crystals here. And I have to note as well, I've never experiences such fabulous customer service. I came here a while ago (over a year) with my aunt who was experiencing some health issues who stopped in to find some crystals to support her healing journey. We asked a woman who worked here for some help and she talked with us for a bit and helped us find the perfect crystals. Over the next year I stopped by every few months and the next few times, I was checked out by the same woman who helped my family, Heather, and she remembered who I was and asks about my aunt! I was so impressed by this because Natures Treasures is a giant retail store and has countless people come in every day (and I wasn't a regular). Y'all go above and beyond here, I will definitely be returning more often read more

I understand health and wellness are a priority due to current circumstances. After stating my medical inability to wear a mask, I was asked to leave. The storefront employee was beyond rude about it as well- which confirmed mask or no mask, I will not shop this store in the future. He stated regardless of medical reasons he maintains a right to refuse service. This is discrimination against those with valid medical issues, which our state recognized in the July 2, 2020 Declaration made by Governor Abbott! I would also like to note store policy includes masks for children over the age of 2- my child complied with the request, but per state mandates children under 10 do not need to wear a mask. I respect your rights as a business to make decisions, but the restrictions set by our Governor did in fact exclude masks for those who medically cannot wear one- it is the considerate, legal, non- ADA violating thing to do. While I respect the positive things your business has done to protect your customers you also eliminated the rights of others. read more

If you are a gemstone/gem mineral enthusiast or a geologist, you might sh*t yourself when you walk in here. They've got something for everyone. From $2 agates to $10,000 geodes, you can find something special for that rock lover in your life. In the back is The Rock Depot, where you can buy larger, rough pieces (sorry, I've totally forgotten the term for this) in bulk. Petrified wood, chalcedony, amethyst, aventurine, quartz, etc. They even have a bin of geodes you can crack yourself (or for a fee they'll cut it for you.) The Rock Depot also offers lapidary services among other things. Even if you don't buy anything, it's cool to just browse. read more

I spent about 1.5 hours looking around and playing with crystals and rocks. A little over priced & not one person checked on me. Would have been nice to at least be acknowledged with a simple hello. However, they do have a huge selection. Unless you know what you're looking for it can be a little overwhelming. I assumed they have a huge overhead and have to make up for it selling a lot of rocks. I did enjoy buying rose quartz in bulk next door, which they own too. They were very friendly and helpful there. It would be nice to read a little description on their selection of rocks.
