I love that I can give Naulin 5 stars! So many mechanic shops are shady and untrustworthy that it was a huge relief to find this place. I was told at the dealership that my rear breaks were in really bad condition and that I needed a belt replaced IMMEDIATELY. I trust a blind dentist more than I trust anyone working in the service department of a car dealer, so I came to Naulin for a second (honest) opinion. My brakes needed to be changed, but they were not nearly as bad as the service advisor had said, and all the belts were completely fine. I had made an appointment to drop my car off on a Saturday morning and within a couple of hours they sent a text letting me know my car was ready. It was about half the price the dealer would have charged, took half the time, and zero headache. I will definitely be returning here for all repairs not covered by my warranty at the dealership. As a girl trying to get her car serviced in Miami, it's hard to not feel like you're getting screwed. This is one of my first yelp reviews, and I felt compelled to write it bc of the AWESOME care and service I received when I took my car to Naulin. I initially took my car to a generic oil change place who told me I needed new brakes and rotors and gave me an $850 estimate and pressured me to have them do it ASAP. I felt something was off so I yelped auto service and Naulin appeared with great reviews. I called & the owner Pedro personally set me up with an appt. the next day. Needless to say my hunch was right. I did not need all the services the "other" auto place quoted me on. My car was serviced promptly at my appt time and my previous $850 brake service became a $350 job, bc Naulin is honest and only performed what my car needed. Only been here once, but I got a very good vibe. We had an AC that wasn't working on our Lotus Elise, and I was pretty worried about the possible cost. We had an INCREDIBLE experience here! We had the AC blowing hot air in our 2007 Prius and had been quoted $1600 for an evaporator replacement by Pep Boys after their three other failed attempts at fixing our AC. We left and decided to take it to Naulin Auto Service after seeing such great reviews online to see if they had a different opinion/better price. I know AC repairs can be tricky but within 15 minutes we got a phone call with a full explanation of the issues they found along with pictures sent through text message! We walked away today with an $86 valve repair and a promise that if it's still leaking in a few days, they'll put the $75 labor charge toward the next repair attempt. They thanked us for trusting them with our car repair and made us feel so much better about something that could've been stressful. AMAZING business and customer service. Like some of the other reviewers, I have been using various dealerships for many years. I think it's a comfort of knowing if they screw they have to fix it (never works this way, but we like to think that). But the prices are really ridiculous. I decided to look up to see if there was anyone close by who seemed like they are not out to rip off an unsuspecting customer. I needed brake work done, not sure if it was front or rear, but I was hearing screeching. Based on the reviews I went in. They did a check, it took a while but I was talking to a customer and so the time went by. The customer had been going there for years and had nothing but good things to say. I was already getting a good feeling about this place. They quoted me a decent price and got it done in an hour or so after they received the brakes, all in all it was a 2 hour wait. No up-selling, no scare tactics, none of the usual nonsense. I have found my new mechanic and I would definitely recommend them for any services, even regular oil changes. read more

I picked Naulin Auto Service based on the good reviews but also proximity to my job. I brought my VW GTI in for an A/C issue. The A/C was cooling only while the car was moving. The first thing they did was recharge the system with Freon. That made sense and was indeed needed as the system was about a pound low. However, the recharge did not fix the issue, which turned out to be due to a bad compressor. The compressor was replaced on 5/13/15. The job took a while because the drier also had to be replaced and the dryer is harder to get to. In the end, the job was completed properly. I waited a couple of weeks to post the review to make sure the A/C holds and it does--it is cooling as well as when the car was brand new. I recommend Naulin Auto Service for the following reasons: * The mechanics are friendly and professional, and take the time to explain what's going on. * The job was expensive, but the price was fair. Their quote was actually lower that the quotes I got from several other places I called prior to going in just to get an idea of what kind of hit to expect. Another thing I liked about the quote was that it included options (OEM vs. aftermarket parts) and explanations of the benefits of each option. I ended up with an OEM part, which comes with one year warranty. * They went the extra mile after completing the job to clean the car inside and out and throw in a nice freshener. These may be small things, but they didn't have to do them, so I was pleasantly surprised. I will go there in the future for services and repairs. read more

Started hearing some rattling noises from my '05 Civic that baffled me. I thought it could be a multitude of problems so I took my car In to see what was going on. Met with Pedro, who told me to drive the car right on it. He popped the hood and got to work. Within 10 minutes, he advised me what the problem was and my options. I ended up having a crack in my exhaust manifold. He recommended a good shop in perrine that could try to fix it up. All of that and didn't even charge me. Pedro is a good guy who knows what he doing. He wants people to have good running cars and not break the bank doing either. I just moved from Miami to Homestead looking for a good honest mechanic. I had gone to see a couple of mechanics about my cars AC. One mechanic said it was the compressor. So I went to check my AC at Naulins. They are 2 brothers that work together there. Pedro is a great honest person. He checked my AC and said that all it needed was a recharge, everything else was fine with it. The car has been blowing cold air ever since. He has great knowledge and explains everything to you very detailed. They work fast, efficient and are not pricy at all. They have a nice beautiful dog who loves to have his back as scratched. I wanted to leave my own review for anyone out there who is looking for a nice, reasonable, honest mechanic to work with - this is your place! My AC stopped working last month and I finally brought it here. Pedro (I think that was his name) was courteous and up front in telling me that it could take up to a day to fit me in (they take appointments). I left it there and he was easy to communicate with for estimates and updates. He emailed me the estimate as I was busy with mtgs yesterday and was quick with the work.
