The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I decided to tthe borek. It's a pastry that can be made either savory or sweet, I decided to have mine with. Spinach and cheese. I also ordered the baklava, and a little cup of the Turkish coffee (whoa!!). The Borek , I didn't look that big in the case spoiler alert, it was.... The dough was wonderfully flaky , and the filling was amazingly savory. I liked the spinach, and I'm not sure what type of cheese it was. But it played with the spinach perfectly it reminded me very much of a spanakopita, which I also love. The baklava was also excellent. It was perfectly flaky on the outside, and the honey, and the nuts inside were just fantastic. It is one of the better baklava that I have ever had. Now let's talk about the Turkish coffee. I've had Lebanese coffee, and I loved, and Ithought was strong.... the Turkish coffee makes Lebanese coffee taste like decaf that you would get from a cheap corner diner. With just a little bit of milk and sugar, it was perfect it was rich, and it was strong! At this point, I could probably make it to six hours to my destination without a car :). All of this great food, and I was only roughly out the door 20 bucks. For such high-quality food, it was worth it. I hope I'm back in Rochester again, because I would easily stop here again.

I liked the service. I loved the food. Having greatly reduced the amount of salt I add to my cooking, I noticed a heavy hand in the catfish batter and in the potatoes. Since I had one more day left in Rochester and The Toast Factory was close to my hotel, I stopped in again for chicken and waffle. This scored 100 out of 10. The batter on the chicken wings was just right, not salty and not bland. The waffle was not sweet. This is a menu item I will plan to order whenever I return.

It had me wondering if we were going to be stuck in the drive through for a bit. I went with the Cherry Blossom Lemonade. Consisting of cherry and peach flavor in a lemonade. I chose a medium which was quite large and cost me less than 5 dollars. The drink was real tasty! I have been craving another. The ordering process was quick and easy. I think the overall time taken was a little under 10 minutes. Not much ambiance to be found as it's a drive up operation. They did have music playing and signage which initially confused me, as I thought you could get two medium drinks for 7 dollars. The most off putting thing about the potatoes was an odd unpleasant taste which I attribute to whatever oil they were cooked or coated in. Whatever it was left a chemical kind of taste in my mouth. On a different note, while the decor is charming, the chairs are uncomfortable. Altogether it was a disappointing experience. My sister spoke to the manager, after we finished, and he offered a replacement for the potatoes but she declined.
