It seems like there's only one person making the smoothies while others are in the back prepping produce. Last time I came in, there were five people ahead of me, one person doing everything, and I ended up leaving. Today was better someone rang me up, and there were only a couple people ahead of me, so it moved faster this was a plus! Honestly, it feels a little hit or miss these days. I totally understand food costs, rent, staffing, all of that can be tough to balance. Just know that while the smoothies are great, you might be in for a bit of a wait. That's all I've got! Love me some Just Juice! They have a huge variety of juices and smoothies all ready to start or refresh your day. I love the kale ale, but lately have just been grabbing the $5 "drink today" cartons from the fridge to the right of the cashier, so as to not totally break the bank. The team can be in a hurry to get back to juicing, so sometimes I feel like I've almost inconvenienced them by coming in. Nevertheless, the juice is delicious. The interior is absolutely stunning and the location cannot be beat. Such a convenient stop on the way to or from a meeting, and the perfect refuel. If you're looking to hit the reset button on your diet all together, I've done a 6 juice box cleanse (I think around $45?) that has been AMAZING. You just call them up and let them know what kind of juices you are usually into, and they get to work on having it ready for you to pick up. This is the best juice cleanse option in town, as you can also make a plan to pick up your juices fresh from jars daily. Last week I had an amazing experience after visiting your shop after a recommendation. I live now live two hours away and only get the occasional opportunity to come back. I had the "Hot Mama" and it was by far the most awesome smoothie I'd ever had. Not only did it have enough "heat," I felt amazing after having it. I will definitely make sure anytime I come to Rochester, I'll be making a stop at JJ4L. At the time, I purchased several juices to take home. Anti-inflammatory, Blue Dream, and Dragon's Breath. i'm aware that this is a contemporary phenomenon, this juicing of every fruit and vegetable under the sun. and I know that quality juiceries are a high-overhead production, so everything is bound to cost more. Im old, and I've thought: maybe I just don't get it. For years, I've been looking for a place that didn't make me feel left out of the juice secret when ordering. This turned out to be the place. I simply explained my predicament to one of the staff members-- "Help me find a drink I like...?" and she pointed me to the side of the menu that worked for me and showed me a path to the more hard core juices. She told me about the tonics sold from the nearby fridge, made good suggestions for add ons (beets and ginger for me, so far). Mostly she was cool and didn't act like my age made me naturally sketchy. yes it was pricey-- 11 bucks for a medium smoothie type of thing. But I am hooked. I am planning on returning often, and working my way through to the hardcore side (left-side, of course!). Sometimes it's hard being an old-white guy in this world of various privileges , especially when you care about new thinking, about changing things for the better and what young people are discovering. I went to Just Juice for my first time and had a phenomenal experience. I had heard that the prices were expensive, but honestly, for the quality of the experience, it was well worth it. For $8, I had a flight of 5 juices: the fragrant and uplifting 'kale ale' (kale, apple, pear, cucumber lemon), the spicy 'fireball' (orange, apple, cucumber, lemon, ginger, cayenne), the herbaceous 'green love' (kale, dandelion, parsley, cilantro, celery, cucumber, romaine, green apple, lemon, ginger), the mellow and refreshing 'beet it' (beets, carrot, apple, cucumber, lemon, ginger, turmeric), and the soothing 'anti-inflam' (carrots, apple, orange, lemon, ginger, turmeric). The staff were helpful in making suggestions about taking them in order (kale ale, anti-inflam, fireball, green love, then beet it) and also mixing (fireball and beet it go great together). Taken as recommended, they were well worth the $8 and felt extremely cleansing, rejuvenating and empowering. The decor is beautiful, everything is vegan and gluten-free, and they have smoothie options I was eager to return and try, such as the 'purple daze' (blueberries, banana, tahini, vanilla and cinnamon). Just Juice has a great vibe and feels like the kind of business you'd see in Toronto or a more major market than Rochester. My only complaint is that the online menu does not appear to list the juice options, only the smoothies, but my list above explains all the types that are offered. I wish this business existed when I lived in Rochester 3 years ago because I am obsessed this place, obsessed. I traveled to Rochester for the weekend and having not lived here since nursing school I wanted to go to all of my favorite places with the limited time I had. As I was heading to my favorite coffee shop I noticed this place and had to pull over. Anything with the word juice in the name sparks my interest. The store front was so welcoming, chairs out on the sidewalk, big windows and a front door that was already open and screaming for you to walk on in and give them a shot. (Pun intended.) The interior is SO COOL. Bright and airy, funky palm tree wallpaper, succulents lining the high top tables, big boards indicating what they were selling, juices, smoothies, power shots, etc. I am the queen of ginger shots, I get them daily, and so I was really excited that they had a big 2 ounce option and that it was paired with lemon and cayenne, my favorite. I ordered the 2 ounce ginger shot along with their anti-inflammatory juice. Their juices were pre-made, in that they had a big vat of them and poured the desirable amount into the size cup of your choice. I could be wrong but I think the options were 8 ounce, 12 16 and 20? Again, could be wrong but there were a bunch of options for cup sizes. There was little to no wait time for the juice because it was already made and after having tasted a sip, I had no doubt in my mind it was fresher than fresh despite being pre-made. You could see through a window into their back kitchen area, workers were hustling juicing fruits and veggies like a well oiled machine back there. The anti-inflammatory juice was phenomenal, had things like apple, carrot, ginger, lemon, turmeric and some other things. The ginger shot was hands down the strongest, freshest most unique and delicious shot I had EVER taken. Like I said I take one daily and am always trying new places that serve fresh juice and this shot did not compare. It was ice cold, just perfection. Their smoothie options sounded delicious and they had so many add-in options like carob chips, maca, spirulina, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, almond butter and more. Smoothies weren't cheap, 12 ounce costing $8 and more with add-ins, 16 ounce costing $11 and their largest smoothie size, 20 ounce was $13. This can be an expensive habit unless you're replacing a meal with one of these. I'm all about spending money on your health though and this place seems to have juice detox programs and other cool opportunities for improving your health. I was so obsessed I came back the next day before heading back to NYC and got another ginger shot, snapped some photos because this store is the epitome of an "instagrammable location." Did I say that right? You'll see what I mean when you come in. This time I got a different juice, the option with beet as the base, also tasted amazing. The staff is pretty nice, they have paper straws instead of plastic so they're trying to be good to the the environment. I think this place is just the coolest. read more

Beautiful​ decors around the shop. I was approached​ by one of the staff and he suggested that I get a flight of 5 different shots, I was down for it. Yall, they were all so refreshing! I can tell that they were some of the high qualities of fruits and vegetables you could ever taste almost as if you could taste every type of ingredients​ in one glass. The prices were really fair too. The one thing that turned me off a bit was the two people in the back kitchen part (which is open to the front) weren't wearing masks. We were liking for a good smoothie on a hot day. I had heard about this place through a family friend and thought we would give it a shot. You wouldn't think they were open by the outside of the building. Walking in was not what I expected either. Interesting set up with some clothes for sale right when you walk in the door. I don't know if I had anything too do with Just Juice. Their service was okay, a bit slow and unorganized. There is no register or spot to pick up or drop off. They should have signs or something. I assume they are in still getting used to The new place so I'll give them The benefit of the doubt. They used to have nice seating and tables too. Now it's just metal tables and chairs. Not a big deal but i just don't like how The place is set up. The smoothies were delicious and that's really all that matters. We ordered purple daze and tropical green. I love their new location inside M/Body! It's conveniently along University so I'll swing in on my way home from meetings. My go-to is the Berry Blend smoothie (12oz.) with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, orange, banana, kale, coconut. Fills me up and great for lunch on-the-go because it keeps me satiated until dinner. I also like the Hot Pink, not only because the color is the best pink ever, but the fresh ginger is good for digestion and is a semi-prominent flavor mixed with strawberries, raspberries, mango, orange, and beet. They'll set you back $8, but to me it's worth it if I don't want to make them myself. These smoothies and juices are delicious and make you feel fab. They're jam packed with organic fruits and veggies and no additional sugar or unnecessary stuff. So nutritious! Plus, dairy free options are perfect for me. I haven't done one of their juice cleanses, but if I ever decide to do one, I'd look into doing it here. While I did have difficulty finding this place due to poor signage and Apple Maps not cooperating, parking is ample and the juice bar is nicely laid out with great natural lighting. They offer smoothies, juices, and food choices listed on large chalkboards, but the smoothies options were displayed on handheld menus. The barista was very polite and offered me a few samples before I settled on the Maca madness - bananas, kale, cinnamon, almond butter, and some other good stuff. I have been a fan of Just Juice 4 Life since I first tasted a green juice spiked with Jalapeno ('Morning Glory'?) at the Brighton Farmers Market a couple years back. I had been visiting their Park Ave location but today was my first visit to their 'new' location (new to me...) on University. I have to say I love the space! Great light and an artfully presented menu board, plus super fast service! The juices are extremely fresh and creative. I love that they focus on VEGGIES in the juice, not just fruits. So much healthier and less sugar. Today I had the 'Green Love' - kale with cilantro, dandelion, pear and several other lovely greens. Awesome! I spoke to one of the owners (I think - mixing up juices for cleanses) and learned that you can call ahead and order a 20-oz in a specific juice that you like even if it's not on the day's (or week's?) menu - I would definitely do this again for the Morning Glory which is still my fave. And, tip: get a punch card! I had no idea they had such a thing, but am psyched it will keep me coming back more frequently!
