Food is fantastic! This is the local bar that everyone loves. Service always on point and just such a great place.

I have passed this restaurant so many times but never went in. The storefront is a bit obscure. At first glance can appear closed unless you stop and read the signs. I recently ordered for pickup over the phone. The person on the phone was polite, confirmed the order details, gave an approx. time for pickup and total for the food. The order included the All American burger and roast beef sandwich. Pickup was quick and easy. I did not do the pick up, so I can't speak on the specifics on inside the restaurant. I didn't take any pictures of the food, a frequent problem when very hungry. The food was packaged neatly and nothing was falling out or leaking. The burger was really good, the patty was a nice size, juicy and seasoned well. Also dressed with condiments and trimmings intact. My fries were cooked nice but too salty. I didn't try the roast beef sandwich, but was told it was tasty. I enjoyed my burger but I couldn't finish the entire thing, ended up saving it for later. Overall this was a really good meal. The menu on google included a number sandwiches hot and cold, burgers, specialty entrees, kids menu, etc., a lot to choose from. I would definitely recommend. read more

Stopped in the Sunday night for dinner for the first time. I have lived in the area for years and passed Jimmy T's a million times. After paying more attention to the local restaurants during the pandemic, we decided to give them a try. Holy moly, we were super happy we did. Upon arrival, the front lot is auler tiny but they have ample parking in the rear. All of the covid requirements are being met (masks, sanitizing). The vartender was super friendly and welcoming. She was attentive throughout our whole stay. We started with an order of old bay wings and onion rings. The wings were good but we really loved the onion rings. My husband had a cheesesteak where you can choose your toppings. He ate the whole thing so I guess that speaks for itself. I had the bbq ribs and chicken platter which came with slaw and potatoes. Everything was awesome and it was a huge portion. My husband ended up having to help me with the chicken. After being highly recommended, I ordered a side of the brussel sprouts. Super delicious. I'd order them everytime again. My husband had a couple beers and then we headed out for the night. The menu was decent and there are plenty more items that we want to give a try. We will be back and recomended giving them a try if you are close by! read more

Nice place for a quick bite, or to just hang out at the bar. Go to listen to the locals laugh it up! Pool table, multiple televisions...and live music on certain nights. Food is outstanding! BBQ ribs were yum! read more

One of my FAVORITE breakfast stops. I head this way, over the many other options because of their large, tasty, breakfast sausage links. When my order came out this morning I could see they were different today. I thought "hmmmm, that's different." I cut into one to give it a try... what a disappointment. The brilliant light which drew this moth to this venue had just gotten a lot dimmer." I asked the waitress what was up with the sausage links. She said for some reason they could no longer get the l ones they previously served. The ones they have at the moment they are only able to get one case per delivery. They have received so many comments they intend to redouble their efforts to once again get their tried and true sausage links. I'll check back to see if they succeed in getting their original sausage links back once again. Other than that issue this place remains a no fail-breakfast stop. Love the food at Jimmy T's! We went in there for restaurant week a few months ago to try something different and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. They have the best fried shrimp that I've ever had in my life! I know it sounds crazy but they are freshly made in a light batter that they use- it's just perfect. No frozen food here- which is refreshing. We have also ordered breakfast and that is just as good. It is a fun time to hang out with other locals and friendly waitstaff. Or you can keep to yourself. If you want to go out to eat by yourself this is the place to go and you won't feel awkward. The juke box always has good music. You can sit at the bar or at the tables. Plenty of seating and pool tables if you are inclined. read more

Very welcoming local spot to grab a drink and some grub. The food is surprisingly tasty with a great variety of daily specials. The bar tender I believe her name is Liz was attentive and very friendly. We had a bacon cheeseburger that was definitely a hand made patty (I accidentally deleted the picture), and the special ribeye sliders, and cream of crab. All were good and fresh! Warning all people bartender scamming I though about this a few times but others need to be warn scams on drinks !!!! I went to Jimmy's t s after seeing it online I went and had breakfast and drinks it was good food and good drinks nice little bar so I posted 5 starts and even tip bartender $30 and posted in Pasadena eats about how good the food was I went again like 2 weeks later had breakfast and 4 drinks the bartender charge me for 8 I am a 300 lb guy and breakfast and few drinks I am fine I didn't say anything I paid the Bill and left knowing I was planing for a lot of weekends here but got wasted for a few dollars check your bill here and be warn they will over charge you !!!!!!!!! read more

I don't often leave a review, but me and my friends were really impressed by this place when we visited from out of town. Missy gave us excellent, quick service. The food came out hot, was DELICIOUS, and a fair price. It was a comfortable, friendly atmosphere, and we'd like to make a trip back in the future. read more

I've been a couple of times. It's a local bar/dining establishment. Nothing fancy at all, just basic food at very reasonable prices. I've mainly been for breakfast. You seat yourself. The waitresses have always been attentive. Service is fast and the food arrives hot. If you're looking for fancy, knock your socks off, gourmet dining go somewhere else. If you're looking for a solid, decent meal, where you can sit down, get pretty fast service, in a "regular Joe" kind of setting, you might want to consider giving Jimmy T's a shot. read more

Ehhh. Was really average. After reading all the reviews about how awesome it was I was disappointed. First of all there are no current menus printed so when we picked up it was $20 more than anticipated. Side of Mac and cheese was like $3 for one tiny scoop. read more

Breakfast tasted like it was reheated, but it is hard to get breakfast too wrong. I was underwhelmed by the atmosphere seems it could use and update. Did not realize this was an active bar and it would have a large group keeping the one waitresses attention so early in the day. Maybe that was my mistake, I assume that was why our food was not super hot or fresh by the time it got to us. Seemed understaffed for the crowd. Staff was very pleasant but really were outnumbered by guests on the day I visited. Not sure I would try again based on that experience. Maybe it was just an off day or someone called out? Location is right on Ft Smallwood so easy to find. Lot is long and narrocw so you can not access well with anything larger than a regular sized car/suv or truck. Food was a 2, Staff a 4 so I decided a 3 was fair rating. read more

The food wasn't the best, but it was decent. I think the atmosphere is what makes this a great neighborhood spot. Very friendly staff.

I've been in here a few times, usually around brunch/lunch time. Every time i go there and the owner is my "waitress" she is rude but tonight put the icing on the cake. My family and i stopped in to grab a quick dinner. She was the only person working, apparently she is the bartender, waitress, and dj. Several of us ordered cream of crab soup, it not only took about 30 mins to get our soup because she was more worried about the bar, but when i got mine it was cold. She said she'd reheat it, gross. My mom didn't get hers til about 10 mins after mine came out. Then i get my food and it's wrong as was my husband's. When i voiced i was upset she told me not to get nasty. At that point i walked out. I will never ever go here again. read more

Went out to dinner with my family today, The service and waitress was great, however the food leaves more to be desired. We ordered 3 of their new york strip steaks, after waiting 20-25 minutes none of us had our steaks the way we ordered, of the 3 steaks,(Rare, Medium, and Medium Well), was medium rare at best, one of the steaks had hints of steak sauce on it, as if someone before us had sent their steak back because it was done enough with steak sauce already on it, and then cooked our steaks without cleaning the grill in between. Whomever was working the grill does not know how to properly cook a steak and for $15 a steak, this was not worth the experience. read more

This place has the best food at a GREAT price and the staff are SO nice and friendly. It is ran by family and when you go in there you feel like a part of their family! I would give more then 5 stars if I could! WONDERFUL place to eat and participate in the GREAT events that they feature!
