Trustworthy, no-nonsense people who do great work. I love the new look of my front yard (see before and after). Sione honored his quote for almost a year, which I appreciate given high inflation. The quote was a lot more reasonable than a few others I had. I think this is a family run business. Communicating with the masons was a little tricky since I don't speak Spanish, but I was able to draw out what I wanted and they were able to accommodate it. I recommend talking through ALL the details with Sione or his dad in advance before the job commences. For some reason I assumed the job would take 1 day but it took 3, so talk through that too. They were quite autonomous and didn't need me around though. Overall, super happy and would call again if I need more masonry jobs.

I hate to do this but how can I not? They are fine for minor concrete repairs, but do not let them sell you on concrete overlays or stucco refinishing for retaining walls. I was originally going to go with concrete staining but his cousin convinced me that an overlay would last longer and that he was quite adept at it. And they were masons, so a stucco coating over a retaining wall shouldn't be that difficult. That was a year ago and now the job they left behind is beyond crap. For which I paid almost $13k (actually, $11k because I never paid them the final installment of $2k for a poorly executed job). My husband and I were really looking forward to this elevating our pool area and providing a safe cool surface for us, our guests and our pets to walk upon. They did not use the right materials (skid proof and heat resistant seal), the color is uneven, they got concrete over my decorative rocks, they painted over my pool grates and filters, the stucco is cracked and they added ugly brick materials to my outdoor shower that was absolutely contrary to what I described I wanted. I thought Sione would make it right. I thought he was honorable. He promised to send guys after my first phone call to at least clean up the mess they left behind, but he nor his team ever returned to the scene of the crime, contacted us or offered us any kind of reparations - and we are out $11k for a job badly done. Do not use them for anything that requires finesse.

I hired Nava Concrete (Sione is the owner) to install all-new: driveway, driveway apron, asphalt in front of the apron, sidewalk, two 2" curb drains, and drain line connections from my rain barrels to the curb drains. He was very communicative and visited the work site daily all throughout the engagement, and I plan to hire him again for additional work on my property. Mike and Tony, who both work for Sione, were fantastic as well. If you have more time, I'll go into more detail about the job and how great Nava Concrete (Sione) was: 1. Before signing the job to Nava Concrete, Sione visited the worksite with me a few times to gather specs as I changed the scope, and was very patient with me in explaining the job. 2. During the job, for the work that required permits from the city (sidewalk, curb drains, and apron), Sione was helpful in calling the city to schedule A. a pre-construction meeting with the inspector, B. a forms inspection, and C. a final inspection, and asked good clarifying questions during the inspection meetings to make sure the job was done according to city specs. We passed our inspection. 3. During and after the job, the team did a good job of cleaning up the debris and hauling away any leftover construction materials. Throughout the job, there were at least 3-4 folks driving through our neighborhood, saw the in-flight workmanship by the team, and asked for Nava Concrete's contact information from the crew. That made me feel good as a homeowner because other people were recognizing their work. Also worth mentioning that I interviewed about 5-6 concrete contractors, and Nava Concrete was by-far the best communicator and had competitive pricing.

I recommend Nava Concrete for all your concrete needs. The work they did was amazing. Sione showed up on site quickly to issue a quote and was very friendly and informative throughout the whole process. They had a fast turnaround time, taking only 4 days from stat to finish for such a large project! The quality of work is so good, that not only did my neighbors love it and hired them that same day, But my friends have also asked me for Sione's number to get quotes as well. I reached out to Sione for an estimate to redo my townhouse's front yard, which involved installing a concrete block wall in preparation for a wrought iron fence and gate. After sending him some detailed photos and drawings of what I had in mind, Sione sent Kris to assess the site and confirm the estimate. The quote was fair and competitive with other companies I had received estimates from, but what really stood out to me was that Sione didn't nickel and dime for every little detail. His price covered everything from removing shrubs and tree roots, relocating sprinkler lines and heads, to building the new block wall, adding caps, and even painting. Unlike some other companies that try to charge extra for small tasks, Sione's all-inclusive pricing made his service a great value. Kris, who did the work, was excellent to work with. He was attentive to my needs and communicated consistently throughout the project, checking in regularly to make sure everything met my expectations--right down to the smallest details. He took extra time to ensure the job was done properly, and I really appreciated his craftsmanship and commitment to quality. Sione also visited the site to ensure everything was progressing smoothly. Overall, I'm very happy with the work done and would definitely use their services again for future projects. I highly recommend them to my family and friends. (Note: Sione and Kris handled the block wall, while a different company did the iron fence and gate, which I will review separately. That company was also excellent.)

Nava Concrete did a great job at repaving our driveway. The whole project took about a week. We spoke with 3 contractors before picking him because he provided the best pricing and had good reviews. His team did all the proper steps, including adding rebar and sloping the concrete away from the garage. My driveway is a bit tricky because the land is higher away from the garage, and my driveway is too long to route the water out from the surface. His team added a pipe underground and covered it with rocks. Sione added that extra level of care by trying to match the rocks with the existing rocks that we have. We're so proud of this beautiful new driveway. Thank you so much!
