Today I had a terrible experience in this location. My wife and I were on a date night and we decided to get a couples massage. My masseuse was so bad I stopped my massage after 30min we booked a 90 minute couples massage. The person in the front desk offered to have someone else but we had plans after the massage and we wanted to have it together. They did not offer to provide a 60 minute massage for another time when I requested it so I just threw money down the drain worse experience at a massage place and the customer service from the supporting staff was terrible hope this helps someone considering this location. read more

I'll start off by saying the masseuse was amazing! Very patient, checked in with me about pressure, very gentle when necessary. I can't remember her name but I think it's Naya. However, the guy at reception was....passive aggressive? And borderline dismissive. When I first walked in, I was asking questions about what kind of massage I should get based on symptoms and he seemed very short. I wasn't too confident that what he recommended was actually a good plan once I got it out of him. He also told me to fill a form out and maybe I was taking too long because he interrupted me and said "just sign it". I clarified if previously he told me fill out the whole form and he said "its fine" Again, the massage was great so we can skip past that. Once I finished I came out and spoke to the receptionist again. I told him I had a gift card and things got really awkward. He asked me where it was purchased and I said his website. And he had a confused look on his face. I asked him was something wrong and he said "Eehhhh who purchased it?" I said I purchased it for myself and he also questioned that. (Which I purchase gift cards for myself to hold myself accountable for actually doing my self care. However that doesn't matter regardless.) I asked again if there was an issue and did he need a receipt for my gift card and he shrugged and said "No it's fine" after all that. And then he had me sign a paper saying "self purchased gift card" I don't understand what the issue was. I waited for my Uber and he did thank me when I left but it was just weird. When I got there, I noticed it was a very very clean environment (which I'm super particular about) and the staff was very nice and professional. I've had many in my life and this was terrible - it felt like it was done by someone untrained giving what they thought would be a good massage. I asked for focus on my upper back due to knots and left without them even being touched. When doing my arms and legs she forgot my entire right arm. The parking here was unexpectedly complicated. A nail salon in the same strip center does such a high volume of business, it stations parking valets at the driveway on West Gray. When I arrived, they were stopping all vehicles at the street, regardless of which business you were there for, and had traffic backed up West Gray. Fortunately, I had arrived early, so the parking delay didn't eat into my massage appointment. Once inside Nava de Massage, I was greeted by a tasteful waiting area presided over by a receptionist who asked me to fill out a form. It included questions about areas needing special attention. The receptionist also asked verbally about special concerns, though I have no way of knowing if my instructions were passed along. I was led to a massage room and asked to change. The massage therapist knocked to enter a couple of times. When I called out to wait, she came in anyway, both times. When she eventually realized she was too early, she left. It was kind of strange. Maybe there was a language barrier? Hearing issue? As she prepared to begin the massage, I told her about my special area of need for the massage. Weirdly, she made no discernible effort to address it. Again, maybe a language barrier? Her general skills seemed fine. Lobby small but opens to a suite of beautiful rooms, one with large shower and I saw a couples room too. Exceptional staff-all seem to be Thai and rooms have bars on ceiling so therapists can walk on your back and legs, in true Thai tradition. Did a couples massage and circled our problem areas before heading in (neck, shoulders, back). The first half was heavily focused on our legs / bottom half which was very strong and good! However, when they started massaging our backs, there wasn't enough pressure or strength despite both of us asking for more pressure. My partner and I both agreed that they didn't address our problem areas at all. The massage was just slight pressure here and there - no targeting of specific areas we circled or deep tissue massage that we indicated we wanted. My masseuse even noted how tight my upper body yet didn't really address it, and I still walked out with really tight shoulders. My boyfriend asked for more pressure on his neck but his request wasn't met either, and he felt as though his masseuse was upset that he was asking for more. Definitely disappointed because we had really high hopes and needed a good massage on our tense bodies. Overall, for the price we paid, there wasn't enough pressure and it felt like they weren't trying to address our needs either. When getting a massage, you expect that your problem areas/ tightness/ knots would be addressed, but sadly that wasn't the case here. read more

So my husband booked a couples massage here and we were excited to finally get out of the house, booked the babysitter and arrived. Immediately I asked the worker what the strong smell was, almost like Fabulouso ". There was a lit scented candle and 2 glade plug- ins.
