Do not use Navis Pack and Ship at 1630 W. Evans in Englewood, Colorado. Our cherished family heirlooms were never documented, then they forgot about them, then the shipping got delayed, then all our stuff was lost and we had to coordinate another shipping company to fix their mistake and finally, the contents were damaged upon delivery. We had a terrible experience, not with the company, but with the owner Keith Navis. He is unprofessional, inept, unresponsive, incompetent and has no integrity. He lacks the most basic customer service skills and often makes mistakes and then lies to try to cover them up. Do not hire this company as it will be a constant battle throughout the entire process to get the simplest results with Keith. read more

My parents used Navis Pack & Ship to send my grandmothers antique dry sink from Denver to San Diego. They chose the warehouse to warehouse option which is more affordable. When I went to the warehouse in San Diego, the gentlemen there loaded the dry sink into the back of my truck and removed the pallet which made it easier for me to move when I got home. I brought the dry sink home and unpacked it, I was very impressed with the care they took to make sure my family heirloom arrived undamaged. Thanks Navis! I used Navis a few months ago for a cross-country move. I was extremely concerned about finding the right moving company - both in terms of cost and quality. Navis really met both of those marks. I found that for a small move like my own (1 bedroom) it was by far the best option compared to PODS-type groups and major nationwide movers. There was always a catch with the PODS-type groups that limited their liability if something was damaged, and the nationwide movers weren't economical for a small shipment. I also felt like I saved tons of time because they included the white-gloves packing in the price. I wouldn't go any other way -- the only boxes that had any damage were those I packed myself - they're professional packers and definitely didn't skimp on the effort and resources used in packing my items. My console table (that I adore) they actually TOOK APART and packed each part individually to ensure that it shipped without being damaged! When it arrived at its destination, the Navis group there just put it back together for me! I really have to thank Kevin whom I corresponded with for this move for his patience and dedication. I've been referring everyone I know to Navis because I know how much of a headache moving was for me and how difficult it is to find a reliable company to entrust all of your things to. Now, the only downside I saw was that the guys that picked up my stuff on the destination end were not as top-notch as the Houston crew that I dealt with - I felt like I needed to really be there and look over their shoulders to make sure they didn't toss stuff into the apartment carelessly and leave. In retrospect, I feel like that's kindof to be expected but the Navis Houston guys were so good that I think my standards were artificially high - with them, I actually left my apartment and took care of other stuff and returned to have everything already packed up and ready to go. After my father passed away this year, we hired Navis Pack and Ship to send out family belongings from Colorado to California. While the movers were packing things up, one of the movers accidentally broke the box that the family's silver had been in for many decades. Not only have they still not gotten the box fixed, they won't return calls asking about the status. This was over three months ago. In fairness, overall on the whole they did a good job and most things arrived in tact. However this exception has been troubling because they broke (and acknowledged it was their fault) something important and sentimental for our family. Mistakes happen - but to ignore calls, not follow up and not fix and send the broken item back to us is irresponsible at best and cruel at worst. We worked with Keith, if you are looking for someone to be responsive, he is not your best solution. read more

Navis Pack & Ship did an outstanding job on shipping original hanging pictures to me from Colorado to California. They picked up the pictures the day after I called them, packed them very well and shipped half to San Francisco and half to Los Angeles. Not a single picture was harmed. These people put a deep gouge on a pair of very expensive audio speakers that they were only to pack for shipment but not send. When the seller received them, they were packed in clear saran wrap and inside foam and crates. the saran wrap was undisturbed. After taking off the saran wrap, the purchaser saw the deep gouge. the saran wrap had not been in any way disturbed. Navis first denied any liability., saying it was the shippers' fault. WHen that proved pointless, they arranged with the purchaser to get an estimate to repair the damaged speaker. this process took several months and they even issued him a claim number. 2 weeks ago they told him he had no claim since I was the one that had the contract with navis. I got a call from Claimco, a 3rd pty insurance screener last week saying that regardless of whether they were liable or not, damages were limited to $100. due to language located n the back of this Universal Shipping Agreement and Release document they had me sign on the front when they picked up my speakers. The speakers were originally sold for $70K; I resold them for $20K and estimates run between $6-12K to repair the damage caused by Nevis. They are trying to hide behind a contractual clause they never told me about. Who would knowingly entrust expensive speakers to a packer whose liability was only limited to $100.? Certainly not me, had I known. the fact that they are trying to weasel out of paying for the damage they caused has got me angry enough to get an attorney involved in this. I have also contacted their referror, Pilot Air, and told them about the nonsense this navis location is trying to pull. There are a number of other arguments to be made, but this is not the time or the place. Their insurance company will have a much bigger case on their hands if we file a complaint. I hear Colorado laws strongly protect the consumer in cases like this, awarding double and treble damages, as well as attorney's fees. Claimco said the the offer of $450 by Navis would be withdrawn if we filed a complaint with the courts. read more

I used their online RFQ sending them a detailed list on size and weights of the various items that need to be crated...I got what looks to be a canned reply thanking me for submitting my quote and that they look forward to serving me. After a week of no communication (I figured with their rave reviews they were working on a quote for me) I emailed them again asking if someone was working on a quote for me. Finally got a reply from a Joshua Tafoya asking what can I help you with? REALLY? Their online quoting request is obviously not managed or looked at. The detailed information I sent them would account for at least 10 crates upwards of $25K+ in revenue for them with the opportunity to crate up a couple other manufacturing process lines we have in the works if there quote was in line with our needs. I resent the data to Joshua T. expressing my disappointment and got ZERO response from him. Business must be good for them to pass this up. I was not at all impressed with their customer service or lack thereof. Not interested or too big of job reply from Joshua would have been nice / professional.
