Recently attended a wedding here that was truly magical. The cocktail hour was delicious. All of the past apps were amazing. Cocktails and dinner were amazing. You can't beat the view at sunset. An amazing venue overall!!

These shrimp tempura rolls were unique and so yummy

It is so beautiful and relaxing here. We came on an August Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was surprisingly quiet. The service and food were both amazing. It's such a hidden gem. The flatbread was amazing. The sushi rolls were served so uniquely and was so filling. We've been coming to Montauk for years and wish we came sooner! Only downside is it's pricey.

Came here to have one drink outside. I did not try the food. It's at a beautiful location with ample outdoor seating. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. The outdoor space though is why you come here, especially during an evening sunset. It will get crowded. The bartender was very friendly and pleasant. My cocktail was ok. What makes this place nice is the location!

Off the beaten path for sure...and was confused about where the GPS was guiding us. Only have valet parking (no charge, just tip) and we go there before the dinner rush right in time for the sunset. All seating except the bar is via the host stand. Got a couple of seats at the bar and would have loved to be outside however limited seating there. Our bartender was friendly and helped with information about the location. Was intrigued by the SXM on their shirts (St. Marteen) and they used to have a location there, but it was no longer there. We didn't try the food, so not sure on that, but drinks were good.

My friends and I had a nice dinner here for her bachelorette party! Unfortunately it was a rainy day so we had to move our reservation indoors. The inside isn't much to rave about, I can see how this spot shines with their outdoor seating. Our server was super friendly and great at handling a large group. He really seemed like he cared. The menu had a solid variety of food and interesting options. I ended up going with one of their fish dishes (when in Rome) and while it was cooked well it was super underseasoned. That was kind of the vibe we got from most of the folks at the table. I would still come back here though to enjoy their outdoor seating and ocean view!

It was less than a 10-minute drive from where we were staying, and going there was the best decision! They were offering two lobster rolls for $41, and they were worth every penny. Each roll was generously filled with large chunks of fresh lobster, a little diced celery, and just the right amount of mayo. They weren't overly dressed or packed with unnecessary fillers--the lobster was definitely the star. One roll filled me up, so I packed the second one in a cooler and brought it home to my dad in Nassau County. He loved it and gave it a 5/5 too! They also sell baked goods, and the chocolate chip cookies were delicious. Just keep in mind that there is no seating and you cannot eat on the premises because it's an active driveway. Everything is to go, but the beach is only a short drive away and makes the perfect place to enjoy your food. If you're looking for fresh local seafood, generous lobster rolls, and a no-frills hidden gem, Bennett Shellfish is absolutely worth the visit!

Know that there is picnic table seating outdoors on nice days or a pretty big parking lot to enjoy your meal. I'm sure it gets packed during peak summer hours. The portions are huge! The New England Clam Chowder was really delicious, one of the best I've had out here. Lobster Bisque was just okay for me, the Kickin Crab Corn Chowder was true to its name with a nice kick. We also had steamers which were fresh and delicious, and a softshell crab sandwich that was fried to perfection. Pricey but hey, it's Montauk. I wish I'd been hungrier because their tomato lobster special sounded out of this world. Everything was really solid. I'd come back.

Laid back, casual! The menu and what came out of the kitchen was exceptional and "5" worthy alone. We had some sushi grade tuna tacos with crispy wonton style shells. The tacos were dressed with all the right flavors and additions you would expect from a top sushi joint. Excellent! We also had Moroccan spiced lamb sliders! Wow good! Perfect! Go to the Gig Shack just to get this! 100% worthy the trip. Id say the menu is somewhat surfer-fusion with California taco influence. There are lots of options. We are glad we tried Gig Shack and will return. Highly recommended casual, cool vibe location, with fantastic food!
