PCSD here and needed a place for myself, my wife, and my dog and this place is a dream! Dog park is a 2 minute walk away, workers here are the nicest hotel workers I've ever encountered. Can't thing of one bad thing. Centrally located so you can drive 30 mins each direction to try out different beaches and food spots. Takes me 25 mins to drive to Schofield and I don't even care. Very reasonable priced and housekeeping is not stingy with their towels! Parking is right next to my room and their little Shop has everything you need to survive. I would recommend this place to anybody that's looking for a family friendly (pet friendly) place to wait out a few weeks (months) until they find a home.

Rooms are well-maintained and spacious. Front desk staff and housekeeping are helpful with a positive attitudes. There is a pool and a large dog park. Fishing is allowed, but do not eat what you catch. There are warning signs everywhere.

    Furniture is worn.

You stay here because you are required to, not because you want to. Convenient to JBPH and parking is free. That's about it on the perks. There is a small convenience store/mini NEX in the lobby. That is nice. Internet is AWEFUL so if you work from home or your kids do virtual school it will not work. And 4G signal is weak so forget about hot spots. Rooms were sort of clean. Furniture needs some love.

Stayed here during our weekend getaway while using the Space A from North Island and we are delighted with the place. Very quiet, rooms are clean with very comfy linen and full kitchen which is so convenient. We were able to cooked our own dinner and relaxed at the lanai with our favorite wine. Woke up in the morning and we ran the scenic Ford Island 4 miles perimeter route which begins and end at the Navy Lodge. The lodge serve continental breakfast every morning which even made it worthwhile. Kudos to the outstanding staff Luz, Maya, Mark, and Crisabel who always welcomes you with an open smile and ready answer and assist your needs. We are definitely coming back here on our next weekend getaway again!

    Complimentary breakfast....I'm a happy camper!

I have stayed at multiple Navy Lodges and this one is my absolute favorite so far! A beautiful place to stay on Oahu. Service is great. The hotel smells fresh and upon inspection of bedding, kitchenette and bathroom looked clean. The kitchenette has a full size fridge, microwave, electronic stove, coffee maker and toaster. Pots and pans, china and silverware also provided. They offer a complimentary breakfast which is pretty good for free. They offer boiled eggs, waffles ( you make fresh in a waffle maker), cereal, fresh fruit, oatmeal, pastries and toast/bagels you can toast. Beverages include coffee, orange juice and water. Now for the view, enjoy your breakfast in the beautiful courtyard or on the veranda overlooking Pearl Harbor! There is a pool on site. The gym is off site that requires you to drive.

It's a very nice hotel with big rooms and plenty of amenities. The good: The kitchen is small but has a full fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave and sink. The bathroom is a good size, the sink has plenty of counter space. The toilet and shower are in a separate area. The staff is nice and very helpful. There is a mini mart open 23.5 hours a day which a decent selection. You can rent movies every day from the front desk. It is a pet friendly hotel and there is a dog park right across the street. Pet fee is $100 a week I think, but the rate varies greatly by time. The not quite as good: The pool is always warm and people tend to leave toys behind when they check out which you can use. All the scenery and flowers are nice but tend to make the pool dirty. I scooped it out with the pool skimmer myself a few times when it got bad. The bad: The TV is dish and tends to cut out A LOT. It gets quite annoying at times but is crystal clear during commercials of course. The continental breakfast is oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cereal and assorted danish's/bagels. It's the same everyday which gets boring really fast. Over all I enjoyed my stay. The Navy covered the lodging cost but I would pay $100 a night here easily.

There's 4 cashiers with 3 listed as "regular cashiers" and then 1 as "Traffic Violations Bureau (TVB) Cashier". I go out of line and ask, if the TVB Cashier is open and she said I have to stand in line even if to pay a TVB ticket. I don't understand why you would leave what looks to be a divided, separate and open line for the "TVB Cashier" only, and if that wasn't the case, have a sign saying there is only one line that handles everything. So I wait in line again. The cashier tells me that my ticket isn't in their system and they have to input it before I can even pay my ticket. My ticket has been in the eKokua system well over two months. They told me to sit and they'll call me up when ready. I waited quite a while. Wasn't until I decided to just stand in line once again did the initial cashier see me and remember my ticket to be paid. I was sent to another cashier, who I asked "the other cashier told me they had to input my ticket because it wasn't in the system, so is it because my ticket was initially Kaneohe court EVEN THOUGH I was told I could pay any Courthouse" and he said "no, it was always in our system". BRAH. They need to improve their organization not only in their cashier office, but their file organization system. Honestly, I should've went to the Kaneohe courthouse instead.

Ridiculous to find a long line that snaked out into the stairwell. This long line is for everyone with an appointment and not. This was changed from having 2 separate lines and the genius power to be decided to change to 1 line! An employee with a clipboard would come out to check everyone for their purpose of being in line. Because I had an appointment made with their online Aloha Q, he pulled me out, looked at my application and gave me a number. I then proceeded to the waiting area at 10:44am and, finally, was seen around 11:10am! Although, I brought my birth certificate, 2 proof of residency, eye check certificate from my optometrist so I don't have to get my eyes checked with their icky eyes check machine and current driver license, I was told unless I had changed my address or name, I only needed my current driver license, money to pay the fee and my eyes checked certificate! Oh, if you're already a registered voter, you do not need to re register by completing the application that's attached to the renewal driver license application! What! Grrrrr... Both the employee who took my application, current driver license and the employee who my fingerprints and photo were knowledgeable. pleasant and friendly. Now, I have to wait 6-8 weeks for my permanent driver license to arrive by mail. WOW...what an ordeal! Like having your teeth pulled and happy it was pulled...lol...

The employee checks you off on his clipboard, make sure you have your appointment confirmation code. Once you go down a floor head to their office at far left. You will be checked for your id and application. Somehow I missed the part about filling in an application so I was given one and proceeded forward but filled in the form first before taking a seat. Luckily it was just a duplicate drivers license I needed since the lamination on mine was peeling off from one top edge. My number was called to window 2 and I had the nicest young man. I told him I no longer needed glasses as a restriction since I had both eyes cataract surgeries. He asked if I wanted to take the eye test. Yes! I passed. Bring your check made out to City and County of Honolulu for $6. Next you move over two windows to your left, get fingers scanned then get your photo retaken. Hooray! At the earliest your plastic license will be mailed to you in 2 weeks. You get a cool temporary license with your photo and information on it. Only catch is you cannot travel with a temporary license. Fortunately I can travel using my passport as ID when I travel internationally. In and out in half an hour. So glad the employee I had was so pleasant, and smiled.
